Super 8 by Wyndham Cambridge/Kitchener/Waterloo Area

Needed a place to crash for the night in Cambridge. Only good thing I can say is it's cheap!

The worst hotel/motel I have ever stayed at. My husband booked this and I will never let him book a hotel every again. Dirty, smelly, old. Bathtub tap leaks and rust in bathtub. Sticky tables. Just gross.

Stayed for work, checked in for 4 nights left after one because of bed bugs, front desk argued and charged us half of second night even tho we left cuz of cleanliness. Wouldn't recommend

You get what you’ve paid for. If you’re non smoker, please stay away from this hotel. You will find smoking smell in rooms, lobby and every where else. Rooms are outdated and everything else was bad.

The hallways smelled like smoke. The room had an odd odor. The room was dirty. The clientele that we saw in passing in the hallways were sketchy to say the least. I would not let my kids go anywhere in there on there own. Front desk staff was nice.

Rooms smell like cigarettes, old buildings, location was good and very close from Walmart and dollarama, cheap price too, breakfast was OK

One of the worst places I stayed. The pictures are deceiving. The hallways smelled like urine. The room was like some amateur renovated it. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were lumpy like 10+ year old pillows. This was supposed to be a little relaxing getaway for me, but I checked out early because it was so bad. Not worth the price. I was also very suspicious of how they charged my card. Be careful and double check your bill when you check out.

Thank goodness we only had to stay one night.rooms were gross and beds were hare. For 126 I didn't expect a ton, but I expected much better then this. I will never stay here again. Wyndham should be ashamed of this place

The staff was friendly and the best part of the stay.

The room was dark, the furniture was old and worn, and the fixtures were rusted. The bed sheet was ripped in multiple spots, and plumbing had little pressure.

The price was very affordable, but if you are looking for a place to stay multiple nights and relax, I would not recommend this location.

This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever seen. I felt very unsafe with transients in the hallways. Wyndham should really try and do something about it.

Les lits semblaient propres mais tout le reste était sale. Forte odeur de cigarette imprégnée, brûlures de cigarette sur les draps. Portes de chambres coincent.

The first room looked and smelled terrible.like smoke and there was evidence of an animal (pet). Scratches on the door frames. This is a non smoking-no pet hotel. The toilet leaked and didn't flush. There were 4 of us and it was just not okay.however, when we went to see the front desk, they were gracious enough to upgrade us to a very lovely room.it was a suite vastly improved in all respects. If you book here, be cautious about the type of room you book and indicate that you prefer the upper level. The staff are decent. The pool is decent. The restaurant was fairly crowded and the continental breakfast was passable.

Rooms aren’t cleaned properly. Beds are hard. First thing I noticed. Dirty windows, dirty sink and the baseboards haven’t been wiped in what looks like years. Dirty laundry housekeeping forgot to pick up sitting alllll day in the hallways. A pile infront of our door. Can hear everything and anything going on in the hall. Whole place has a weird smell.

Service was alright, pool was alright. Wouldn’t stay again.

If I could give this hotel -10 stars I would. We booked it for a wedding as it was close to the venue. Check in was 3 and our wedding was at 330 so unfortunately once we realized how horrible it was we didn't have time to find another place. We didn't know we booked a smoking room. I don't remember even seeing another option. The place stunk. The doors had more colors then the rainbow the bed was not clean and stained.the room was vile. We've stayed in cheap motels but we did not expect this from the super 8. Luckily a good friend drove us back to get our stuff after the wedding and we crashed at his place for the night. Lost 100$ and didn't even stay. If you want hepatitis a-z then stay at this place

The room I was in, two room.suite, the beds were very comfortable. Furniture in the living room area old and damaged. Attention can be given to cleaning faucets/sink in Kitchenette and bathroom with a simple baking soda vinegar solution. Would brighten them right up. Full size fridge spit spot.
Hair dryer worked.
Having paper plates, bowls and cutlery in Kitchenette would be helpful. I'm sure if I had asked I could have taken from the breakfast offered each morning. Fortunately I had my own.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall rooms were clean. Some may be taken aback by condition of furniture because it is very well used and worn. I would stay here again.

Stayed here approx. 4 times in a few years while visiting. Depends on expectations and It's fine for us but needs updating. Older bathroom but fine and tv etc. The only complaint really is the cleaning detail needs attention. The price was right and the staff was friendly. Location excellent.

The lady that checked us in was excellent and deserves a raise. Our stay was good for the cheap price.

Got a great price on a room which was clean but the bed in the pillows are a little on the lumpy side but all in all worth the price. Tim Hortons is right next door for your morning coffee. We would stay there again.
