Super 8 by Wyndham Niagara Falls by the Falls

The online pictures do not depict the actual motel. Hallways are dark, dingy and have an odor of a very old run down house.
The bathrooms need much updating, the toilet handle needs to be held down for the water to flush.
The basement is scary and it deters you from wanting breakfast. The breakfast is sparse with some day old croissants, the shells had been removed from the boiled eggs, the apple juice container was actually fruit punch. The room has tables that are too big for the space and there's a basket asking for tips.really?

This place is close to clifton hill which is why I booked it. But once I checked in I was surprised about the quality of this place. The rooms and corridors were very outdated. Within few minutes of walking in I saw 4-5 bugs which looked liked bed bugs. The rooms were dark. After asking for a room change we had troubles with the key and when walked in the room, the room was again in very bad condition so decided not to spend the night.

Positive thing was service given by the guy at front desk who was helpful and understanding.

Very professional staff, including the front desk, breakfast attendants and Housekeeping.

Cleanest Super 8 I've ever seen. The UV flashlight shows nothing, zero - even on the remote.

Breakfast was totally packed on Sunday, and there's no waffle maker, which is a Super 8 standard. They have bagels and croissants, real butter, yogurts, cream cheese, peanut butter and jelly, bananas, hard boiled eggs, cereal, milk, juice and remarkably good coffee and tea bags. Completely generic looking tea bags, but excellent quality black tea. Monday was wide open, but Sunday and likely Saturday you'll want to get up early. Either that or you'll be jammed in with the barbarian French people from Quebec and the tourists from Asia who eat with feral cat mannerisms.

We felt bad for not leaving more of a tip for Housekeeping. There should be an app, because nobody stays mindful of cash on hand, with everything paid by debit card nowadays. Or just have it on the bill, where you can add the gratuity.

My husband and I stayed here for one night. The place is decent and comfortable for a quick stay. Check-in and check-out process is simple and quick. Ample of parking available. They charge you extra though for using their parking lot ($10 for the night I believe).

The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The hotel overall needs a good refurbishment and upgrade in terms of its overall look and cleanliness. We liked the indoor pool though, it was clean and accessible easily.

The front desk staff are friendly. I would recommend the staff on breakfast duty and room service to pay more attention to their work though as they seem to be busy doing other things at the time of their duty. Sadly the breakfast options are pathetic and you are better off getting breakfast outside in the town from a nearby restaurant.

Overall our stay was not too bad. Would recommend if its a quick and short stay.

The carpet is dirty and old. The furniture is also very old and smells musty. Poor TV signal quality. The breakfast room is in a basement (down stairs) with no ventilation.

They charged me twice in two credit cards. They rooms are so old, the carpet is visible dirty, , the sofa is full of dust, the sprinkler does not work properly, the brake is on hand by children, the beds are so unconfortable, the kitchen has no windows or emergency exit.

Good place for stay over. Very friendly and helpful staff. Need a vending machine and ice machine for the other building

The service was great, they went above and beyond for a mom and small child on our first trip. Walking distance to the falls and activities. Rooms are clean, the pool is clean. The office staff were top notch, thank you!

Bed is so hard I could park my jeep on it and it would hold up my jeep it's absolutely ridiculous flip the wrong light switch and you'll turn the fridge off without warning. There is what appears to be mold in the shower staff is very rude the maids didn't clean up the room well at all didn't refill the toilet paper didn't throw away any trash.

Sejour Niagara falls en hiver, nous n'avions pas de connaissance de la ville et nous sommes arrivés en avance, nous avons pu avoir exceptionnellement la chambre plus tôt, encore merci pour celà. Ils nous ont également donné de bonnes adresses pour le repas. Personnel très très gentil. Petit déjeuner au top avec des gaufres cuites minutes.
Chambre spacieuse, avec lit confortable.

It’s been over a month and my husband and I still haven’t received our refund after we were told twice we would be after the experience here.
I wish I could post the photos but it wont let me.

I’m writing this review simply to highlight Happy, the concierge who helped us check in. I’ve never met a more positive, helpful, and kind person.

Needs to freshin up the place with some paint exterior and interior expecially the rooms, the breakfast needs to be improved a lot had practically nothing special, the rest the staff was great cannot complain

Location is ok, front desk staff is helpful. Rooms aren't clean, had nail clippings from previous person on carpet. Musty smell. Our socks are completely dirty from walking on carpet. 6 channels on tv, none in HD. Only CNN, CP24 and the rest is like old 50s movies channels and similar. Slow and over crowded wifi, cannot stream Netflix or something else that uses video.ils like a motel so you got many guest smoking pot and cigarettes right by your door so expect the smell. As mentioned, staff is helpful and nice, it's the hotel itself that is bad. We went to Walmart and got some Febreeze and Clorox wipes to clean surfaces and bathroom and it was somewhat livable. Lol.

You get what you pay for, it's pretty okay for a Super 8. The bed was comfy and it's a close walk to Clifton Hills and the Falls.

Also, the dude wearing the "happy" name tag is really enthusiastic and that is great for customer service.

Very satisfied with this hotel. Though there were few hiccups one window is open with missing crank handle, I cannot close it and toilet sink seems to be clogged as water is very slow to drain. But in spite of these, it didn’t really give us inconvenience to our stay. - still five star. The room is clean and bright, the pillows and bed cover smells fresh. Location is great, the falls is just almost a kilometer walk. The free parking and the breakfast were part of the amenities. The breakfast was actually beyond our expectation. There was also different choices of coffee. Very happy customers, next time we visit we’ll stay here again.

Close to the falls area. Three flights of stairs to get to the room so wouldnt be the best for people with knee issues. Room was clean, bed was comfortable

Dusty and humid room, crisps on the floor when we arrived and a whole ecosystem (coins, candy papers, plastic bottle) under the beds, that will probably stay there for a while.
The location is great and the receptionists friendly, manager (owner maybe) walking with leather shoes on the indor pool area, you have the picture.

Staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. For that 5 stars. Location is convenient as well, just a few minutes walk to Clifton Hills and the falls. However the building itself and the room were quite old and worn. Breakfast was okay, but served in a room without any daylight in the basement, which was not exactly nice. Nevertheless, I rate it very solid 3 stars over all and would stay there again.

Stayed in the family suite for a bachelorette and it was PERFECT! Walking distance to all of the excitement of Clifton Hills and the room itself had two bathrooms, 4 queen beds, a table, and so much open space which was great for our group. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. Only downfall is we did spot a bug in our room, but only one, not a big deal.

We will never stay there again there’s black mold in the shower stains on the furniture glass around the heart ship Jacuzzi tub was filthy walls had black finger prints and foot prints on them under the bed didn’t look like it had been cleaned in months with dirty Kleenex dust dirt and the top off a win bottle cork I was disgusted but my husband wouldn’t let me say anything because we couldn’t find anywhere that had a room available that shot of notice if I could post the photos I took to show you I would

Great location to walk to all the rides and restaurants. They have two pools indoor and outdoor one very nice not too big good of size.
