They do not give back damage deposits automatically you must go back to be refunded if you use a debit.either way good bang for buck plus was able to get deposit back!

Brought my school group for a one-night stay. Gary and his staff were very helpful and accommodating. The rooms were clean and quite large, and the kids were very comfortable. Will definitely stay here next time we are in North Bay

We've stayed here many times, always being satisfied with the room, the service, and the breakfast. We shall be staying here should we travel this way again.

Great place to stay for the price. Can't complain with anything. Would be nice if it was more updated, but that really doesn't matter.

This place rocks. I called it home for 3 weeks. Stayed here because the owner is really great, adjusted my rates for the longer stay. Rooms are kept up well by the staff, Super nice, A+ all the way! Who doesn't want to stay in a hotel that looks like a castle?

Great hotel. Clean. Friendly staff. Gary was very helpful. Decent free breakfast. I booked wrong dates on a booking app and showed up at hotel and they helped me get rooms and cancel the other reservation without charges.

Nice clean room. Clean shower and bedding. Bathroom needed a little TLC “small hole in the wall” but it was clean. Decent hot breakfast eggs, sausage, cereal, tea/coffee and waffles. Lots of restaurants near by. Very happy with my stay.

Good to have a breakfast. Clean room, so we left a $10 tip on January 22, accidentally also leaving our phone charger. Jennifer and housekeeping "couldn't find it", so regretted leaving the tip.

I came with my parents and we were delighted with our stay. During our time there the staff was super helpful and patient. We needed to change our room after one night for something a little bigger. With a small and reasonable fee, this was done super easily. The area is really nice. We came during winter and I think it is situated well. We want to come again during the summer to experience the area.

The internet is fast and reliable, so if anyone needs to work, it can hold a video call with no interruptions. The room we had was spacious and it had a small kitchenette. The breakfast options were good too. My father is a diabetic and he was able to find something that fit his needs (whole wheat toast, eggs, cream cheese, with coffee). My mother is a vegetarian and she had enough food for her as well. I really liked their waffle maker.

We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, who are really understanding. Our car broke down and we needed to extend our stay last minute. We were given ample time to decide on whether we should stay another night or find a rental and go to our next destination. We chose to stay. When I left, I forgot my charger and the owner was kind enough to email me (after having emailed my receipt) and hold it.

The motel experience was better than we expected and we will be back. The beds were also really comfortable.

The best part about the hotel was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff! They were nice. The beds were clean (thankfully) but everything else.well. The dog friendly rooms (we had two dogs with us) had carpet which looked dated and fairly gross.there was garbage in our room on the floor in the closet.our coffee maker was filled with dust and debris (which the staff replaced happily for us and apologized.) and the ac/heater unit was poorly installed there was a very noticeable draft coming in around it and it made it register the room temperature improperly.also the room phone was plugged in but completely dead lol.wonder when the last time is that they actually checked it.the room had noticeable stains on the walls and looked slightly run down/dated.we only had to stay a night thankfully but for just over 140$ it wasnt worth it in my opinion.

Clean and comfortable. It isn't a five star hotel but for a mid range hotel it is great. Breakfast was good. The coffee at breakfast is very good. Room coffee isn't. Staff is very friendly. I would stay here again.

Very old building really noisy, doors slamming all night long, people walking on the floor above, get ear plugs.

Nice hotel, not terribly expensive if you're a pet owner. Safe location. Not much more to add.

X-large, clean room with full size fridge, 2 burner stove, sink, dishes. In need of some minor upkeep- missing hook on door, squeaky office chair. The side of the bathtub is unusually high and my senior parent could not get in despite the bar. It would be nice to have some sheer curtains for privacy in a main floor room. There is enough space that another nightstand and lamp would easily fit and be handy.

Great stay. Clean rooms and building. Nice hot breakfast. View of the lake. We stay here every time we're in town.

It is a decent 2-star hotel. Check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 11am. The gentleman at the reception is friendly and efficient. Breakfast is served from 6 to 9am and dining area is not available. You need to eat back in your room.

The bedding is clean but hair is found on the bath towels. Bring your earplugs if you are a light sleeper! I could hear the footsteps upstairs during the whole stay.

Charged 117.00 for room damages that we did not do with out notification. Found the charge a month later when our credit card statement arrived.
When I called, management stated we caused a large red wine stain on the carpet, however we did not have any red wine in the room.
Feels like they just stole 117 for the sake of it.

Hotel looks great from the outside but the room was extremely dated. Needs a major update. The room was clean though and the bed was comfortable. The TV reception was not the greatest in the morning.

Best hotel on the lakeshore road strip in North Bay. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Cleaning staff work very hard to keep your room clean. If there’s one thing for improvement, it’s the breakfast, could be a bit more imaginative.

It was quick and easy to check-in and out. The room was clean and well maintained, the WIFI worked well and the breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

We spent a week at this motel exploring the area. The room was large and the beds were very comfortable. It seemed to have everything we needed. With Covid, they weren't offering much for breakfast, but there was a TH, and Metro within easy walking distance.

I gave this lodging a 4 stars because there's always room for improvement nevertheless, in terms of value, staff, cleanliness and overall bang for your buck, I'd give this place a 5 stars.

Great as always. Clean room, well kept and right across from the water.
Downside is we have dogs, pay extra and have never had a complaint. Now we can't let our dog on the bed (we always bring a sheet to cover the bed) while still being required to pay extra for cleaning. Really unhappy about that. We stay there at least 4 times a year and have sent many others there on recommendation. Very, very unhappy about that

It is a decent hotel to stay. Nice and clean just double check the price of the room on the official web page because sometimes they have better price.

Room was clean. Thanks to the house keeping crews! Beds were comfy. Hot breakfast was not available which we understand due to Covid but we were not told about that when we made the reservation. There was another guest with no mask on at the breakfast counter. That should be strictly controlled by the management. All in all, it was a good stay.

Comfortable and large rooms, kitchenettes are the highlight of this hotel if you plan to stay more than one night in North Bay.

Beds were hard, some people may like that though. Rooms were big and had a microwave and fridge which we liked! Back door didn't lock though, anyone could come in. Carpet was soft to walk on.

I stayed in room 124 loved the art work on the wall, very clean. Only problem I had was there wasn't any soaps or shampoos in the room

Only giving a 1 star for the customer service at that location. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good. But after bringing up an issue with the rooms bathroom resulting in my only set of clean clothes I brought on this trip got soaked, I find the customer service disgusting. Spoke to front desk and he said was "Ok". Spend the extra 10$ 20$ and go else where, it will save you a big headache.

Friendly staff. Nice that they allow pets and allow a puppy that is pretty big. Awesome breakfast. So quiet. Great space for pet to roam.

This was our first time staying at Super 8 North Bay and it will not be our last. Very affordable, excellent staff, the breakfast was great and the room was super clean. We will be back.
