Super Nails

This is my third time having bad service and I finally had decided to give a review

1) first time I made an appointment I had to wait 20 mins past my booked appointment and therefore wasn’t able to get two services (nails and feet) done like I had planned

2) the next appointment I booked I asked for shellac French manicure I was told I would have to put on “white tips”. When I asked I could just use a white polish for the French part instead of white tips I was told they don’t do that, I only booked for this reason to get them done so I opted for a colour. I continued the appointment even though I was disappointed and just before I got them painted noticed the girl sitting RIGHT beside me was getting EXACTLY what I asked for with the white polish as the French part when I mentioned it to the girl she claimed she didn’t know they had white polish

3) final straw I called at 1: 30 to make an appointment I was given the option of 2 or 2: 15pm I opted for 2pm to give myself time and to have time to pick up my son I arrived 6 mins after 2pm (I was coming with my 16 month old) I also called saying I was running a couple mins behind they said not a problem. I then waited until 2: 20pm and finally asked what was taking so long to start my nails and they said it will be another 10 mins push it to 2: 30pm even though my slot was for 2pm
I simply told them I cannot wait as it will delay my nails and didn’t want them rushed and have to pick up my eldest from school so ended up having to walk out and cancel my appointment

They were not apologetic at all

Last time I’ll be going there I’ll find another salon

Absolutely horrible experience, lady doing my fill was rude & then i was way overcharged! Will not recommend or go ever again

I was in a few months ago and was very happy with shellac mani pedi, eyebrow tinted, chin and lip wax for $75! I go this month just for shellac mani pedi and charged $100! I’m a passive person and they were busy so I didn’t question it, but I won’t be back.

It's so amazing the nails' staff are very nice. They took care of me carefully and i had a beautiful nails for my wedding. Thanks so much

I went here by fluke one time. I decided last minute on New Year's Eve day that I wanted a manicure. My usual place was all booked up so I called here. They were able to get me in, so I went. I have to say, it's the best manicure I've ever had. Very friendly staff, gave me exactly what I asked for, and the nails didn't chip or break or fall off, which I've had happen before from other salons. I went back a second time for a fill, and I got a whole new shape and length, and a really cute manicure for Valentine's. Again, they aren't super thick, but they're super strong. Very reasonable price, and excellent service. This is now my new go-to.

Update: I've now been several times and always walked away a happy customer.

I've tried this place twice, the first time was good, the second time they did a pedicure and I got an infection in my big toe that lasted over a week. 3 days I couldn't walk, I will not go back

Best nail salon I’ve ever been to. Moved out of the city a year and a half ago and still can’t find a place that comes close.

This was a bio-gel fill, it cost $55. Let me start by saying my nails do look pretty nice. But here's the reason for 3 stars. There's was nail polish left on the side of my finger, but I figure whatever no big deal. But they didn't even push back my cuticles at all (which makes them look a week old already) or even clip the dead skin on the side on my nail beds. The service took about 35-45 minutes, and in my opinion, it felt pretty rushed. At the end of the service, she didn't put lotion on my hands, and I had to ask for cuticle oil. Overall, it just left an odd taste in my mouth.

Best nail salon ever! I have been going to Hannah one of their nail technicians for a few months now and she’s absolutely wonderful! Super friendly and very gentle!

My Daughter really enjoyed getting her toes and nails done here we will be coming back for a wedding party ️ in July thanks againg girls for making my daughters experience a good one

I’ve been to Super Nails twice so far and each time was a great experience! Lili did my nails this time and she did an amazing job. She’s very attentive and they look perfect. Will be coming back for sure!

I had gotten a full set of acrylic nails, while doing them I repeatedly asked for them to be cut shorter and she would cut the least amount she possibly could and go to move on. I asked for them to be cut more about 4 or 5 times before the woman was getting visibly annoyed with me and I just gave up. Then when I went to pay, it was $56 instead of $40, when I asked why I was told it was because I got long nails, and used shellac. Despite the fact I specifically asked numerous times for them to be shorter and she would not cut them any more, and I was never asked if I wanted shellac in fact the ring she gave me to choose the colour from was shellac so I had no choice in the matter and I get charged an additional $10 for it. I made the mistake of going back a while later to get a refill on a different set as this location is nearest to my house and I had forgot at this point of the situation before, and again I was not asked if I wanted shellac she just did it and again i was stuck paying for it, and when I asked why they said well last time I got shellac so they just gave it to me even though I was not asked the first time I went there either. Also the acrylic was thick and unnatural looking so I would highly suggest you find somewhere else for this service or at least clearly specify that you do not want shellac if you don't want it because they won't ask you if you do.

Went to super nails for the first time today on a recommendation from a friend. I was BLOWN AWAY. Hannah did my nails and was amazing, thorough, thoughtful, and meticulous. Asked me at every step if I liked what they were doing, and checked the reference photo many times to recreate the exact colour and design. Will 100% be returning. Hannah you did an amazing job and have gained a repeat client for sure! Thank you

I came here upon someone’s recommendation. I was told to book with Linda (so I did) just for me to be booked with someone else. Hannah was nice, and did a decent job. I noticed the shape/thickness for a couple of nails was off, and Hannah requested some support from who I now know was Linda. Linda barely looked at what I was trying to point out, and was dismissive. I kept trying to point it out but she said everything was fine. When I went home (better lighting), I saw there was a crack in my one nail. I called about this, and they told me to come in. However, the person doing them seemed annoyed by this and did an even worse job? I was baffled but even more so when Linda once again was dismissive towards me. I am not a confrontational person and I did not want to start something when she was with a client moreover when other clients were around. However, I should not have to be bringing it up once let alone twice. As a manager/owner, you take ownership and accountability.

It was a disappointing experience especially as Linda and the salon were highly recommended. Hannah was sweet, and I enjoyed my time with her. I would go back to her, but definitely not the salon where the customer service is seriously lacking.

I had a pedicure done by Jessica today and loved it! She was nice, attentive to detail (listened to my requests) and left my feet feeling & looking amazing! She followed through with every part of a pedicure and had a very sweet energy to her. Thanks Jessica for the great experience!

The nails were nice but I won’t be back due to cleanliness - the shield was dirty, all the tools looked well used, they were using items that are definitely reused over the open wound on my thumb (which the technician was touching without gloves the whole time), the UV light was full of other peoples’ nail debris. I’ve never had my nails done before, but I would hope this isn’t common practice.
