Bought a couch and had the best experience. Staff was very knowledgeable and patient. Also you won't find a better warranty for the price.

$2000 couch. All the fabric is undone in less than a month. Sales guy hangs up phone to deal with another customer 20 seconds after calling. Quality is not good.

8 months later now. Still have not had a resolution. This response from the company says to contact them, then doesn't respond. Several attempts made now both with the store locally, as well as head office. Getting absolutely nowhere with this company. So frustrated.

Have now spoken to store. No reasonable solution has been offered. The offer to purchase a new couch is not a resolution. Have been trying to reach the company itself and have not been able to get a response as the store has not been able to remedy the situation. For whatever reason the reviews are the only place they are responding.

Dealing with this company is horrible. Go anywhere else

We stop in friday july 7th to check for sectional couch.with the help of all of them.we brought it back inside the chip transport back to timmins.they even took pictures lol and we all laugh how the driver back up soo good.

Great service and great selection for your furniture needs at a great price. The associate was very helpful during this visit.

Spent $2216 on 7 items. Wanted to return 1 item which was brand new but they wouldn’t accept the return. Asked if they would return the $215 extended warranty on the 1 item (obviously it wasn’t used). Answer was NO. Will never buy anything again from Surplus Furniture!

Walked in in hopes to find a frame. The salesmen weren't pushy but were very helpful. I ended up purchasing a frame and when I couldn't pick it up the day after as I intended it was no problem and everyone was very accommodating with my 3 day delay for pick up. Gladly would recommend this place to anyone in the market for frames & couches.

Went to go buy myself a new bedroom set. Drove past this place so decided to check it out. I highly recommend this place, I had Megan as my sales rep. I’m a shy person she made me feel so comfortable, told her what I was looking for, she showed some stuff, and what I loved is never once did I feel pressured into buying something I didn’t want. The bonus part was that they had everything in stock I didn’t have to wait a week or two for my furniture. They also threw in 2 pillows and a sheet set with my bed. Will definitely be recommending this place to people.

I had a wonderful experience buying my first new couch! Staff were so friendly and helpful. Definitely will be going back again! A big thank you to megan for helping me pick out the perfect couch.:)

Surplus furniture was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff was very knowledgeable and took the time to address our wants and needs. Patrick was awesome, he made the experience very easy for us as customers. Amazing pricing and great customer service pre and post sale (which is rare). I very much recommend making this your go to furniture store.

It would be good if you updated your store hours online to match what they really are. I came to your store at 4 pm on Saturday for your black Friday sale only for it to be close.
