Sushi Fresh

Best sushi I’ve ever had, freshly made just in front of you. They refilled my water every time, so nice and the air was cooled when it was really warm outside. Just amazing, definitely worth it!

The quality + freshness of nigiri and sashimi are just beyond the expectation!
I had been to several Japanese restaurants and I can assure this place is one of the best!
Also, sashimi salad with sweet and spicy Korean sauce was a great match …! Recommend it to many spicy food lovers
Will visit here again really really soon for sure!

This is a great little restaurant across from the Byward Market. Only 5 tables. However, friendly atmosphere with wonderful staff. Food reasonably priced. Very clean restaurant.

The freshest sushi in Ottawa! The sashimi from this location was so delicious and fresh! There was no weird fishy taste or smell you get from old sushi. Definitely worth the price!

The best sushi in Ottawa! One of the freshest we’ve had, and we’ve had a lot of sushi! The fish was definitely fresh, we were craving nigiri and sashimi and this place satisfied our cravings perfectly. The udon was also delicious, the broth was clean, hot and the udon toppings with the chewy noodles were a perfect pair. I really love Ama-Ebi so of course I had to order it at this place and it did not disappoint. This is honestly one of the best sushi places I’ve had.

The staff were wonderful, super friendly and welcoming. They were always checking on us to make sure we had everything we need.

The only thing is the tables are small so its hard to fit a lot, which made it a little uncomfortable to dine in but it isn’t a big deal. Overall, the food is still amazing.

A MUST TRY! 10/10!

Friendly service and incredibly fresh and delicious sushi. The staff were helpful when my friend and I were deciding which tray to get based on how hungry we were and what variety of rolls we wanted. The place is small and cozy, only seating about 10 people, but it doesn't feel crammed or crowded. Cannot recommend this place enough! (We got too excited to eat, hence the missing sushi in the photo).

Was craving some nice fresh sushi and tried this lovely place, it was very delicious and the fish tasted so buttery and fresh! The interior was really nice and the staff were SO friendly! You can see the chefs across the counter so you know it’s as fresh as possible! The prices were fair and you can get a half roll instead of the whole thing if you’re looking to try multiple types of rolls. I highly highly recommend this place, please give them a visit if you’re looking for some quality sushi:)

We ordered the Philadelphia roll, spicy chilli tuna roll, volcano tuna roll, Ottawa roll, G-dragon roll, salmon cooked fish roll (not as good as the fresh fish), dynamite roll. With a side of spicy mayo and sweet soy sauce. Delicious delicious!

Update: We went again and it was just as delicious as the first time!

We loved our visit! Went for an early dinner with the kids. The server brought the kids special chopsticks they could use and the kids were pumped! The food was soooo gooood too! Highly recommend!

The food was delicious. I am a huge fan of sushi but I found the menu a bit complicated. I think they need an update.
U have to order at the front then sit down. I reccomend they get a paper menu perhaps where ppl check off what they want maybe to make things a bit easier.

Great little spot though I'd go back.

Ohmygosh, I love it. The food is EXCELLENT, the service is very sweet with reasonable wait times, and the price is actually awesome! We used to always go to "all you can eat" places, but then we tried Sushi fresh and we actually spend less and leave just as satisfied! (And it's waaaaaaay better quality than most all you can eat places). I seriously love it. Our new go-to sushi place!

One thing to note, they only have five dine-in tables, so you can't ALWAYS get a seat. But they also do take out, so it's all good:)

We loooove this place! Amazing sushi, plenty of veggie options and super clean! The staff is very friendly and helpful with the menu. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and the portions.
They offer a choice of crab or immitation crab for vegetarians which is amazing.
Highly recommended!

The Koreans know how to make the best sushi this is the best sushi restaurant in ALL OF OTTAWA. Don't even need to go to a sushi buffet when this place is so exquisite and of the highest quality. C'est Japon and JUnique and Genshi and these other typical names you see in the Sushi scene in Ottawa don't even begin to compare to Sushi Fresh. The speed and skill and the flavour.

The only flaw this restaurant has is the dine in set up that has a booth one side and a stool for the client. Not really comfortable for the back but I can't even be mad because it's so there is turn around and people don't take up space for 1000 years.

I don’t enjoy seafood much and coming from Australia we have chicken/meat (cooked lol) options for sushi. I was hesitant to try the sushi here as there wasn’t any meat options but oh my god I was shocked at how delicious everything was! The miso is 10/10, the rolls are perfect and the beef gyoza is a must try! Very good service also. It’s my favourite place for lunch so far in Ottawa. Everything is so fresh and I really enjoy coming here. Thank you!

Amazing food, super fresh, we order to eat there, and we were surprised by the quality of the food, the staff and the cleaning. Will definitely become a regular place for us.

Best freshest sushi in all of Ottawa. This is our go to sushi place after trying most places in Ottawa. Would recommend trying the Ottawa roll

My favourite type of restaurants, small and cozy. They have 5 small tables that seats 10 to 15 guests but those guys are busy with take out as well. The employees were smiling the whole time we're there and they were very positive. The food is very tasty and the place has good vibes. I consider this place if I'm looking for a healthy quick bite while I'm at the Bay ward area. This restaurant is a counter service type so you order from the counter and they serve the food to your table. We'll definitely visit again.

Not bad sushi. But I wasn’t blow away either. I’m not sure if I’ll go back. But, the service was great.

The avo mountain roll literally changed my life! I recommend Sushi Fresh to all my friends!
