Sushi Galore

I'm fussy on my sushi and this place is one of two in Ontario I like. They do it well, speedy service, great options, definitely will do again.

Ruined evening. How can a restaurant afford to be open until 9 on Saturday? The website allows me to reserve a table at 8: 15, but it turns out that the restaurant closes at 9. Having arrived in the open spaces, we were already told to quickly order and eat.when we came to relax, slowly eat, talk, the hostess and waiter urged us on. No non-alcoholic cocktails, no non-alcoholic beer, no COFFEE! We turned around and left the moment we placed our order because we were completely disappointed. The picture of the restaurant is beautiful, but that's where the beauty ends.

This is my go to for great sushi, with amazing friends. Also the service is incredible! Love you all

I really like this place. The price was reasonable $35 for all you can eat. The sushi was amazing especially the dynamite roll. They also had delicious meats. Your main waiter is not always the one bringing you food. Most of the times it’s other waiters. Which was great because we didn’t have to wait long for food. And the service was amazing none the less. Also you have to ask for desserts. They have a bunch of delicious ice cream’s. I highly recommend the green tea ice cream. Overall great place.

My only AYCE sushi place in London. Used to be there once a month.
Recommend their sour and spicy soup, shrimp tempura, fried milk and grilled shrimp also other fried items.
However, I do see a decrease in the quality of salmon, they used to be very fresh.

The calamari was difficult to bite cleanly through, the deep fried shrimp was gross, the shrimp sushi only had a tiny thin little piece of shrimp ontop of the rice and did not even taste good. All the above fried items also come woth sauce on top but do not show it on the photos so you have to scroll through an elaborate list of key terms to specify no sauce. I also requested assistance twice on their tablet so I can speak to them about a question, and they never showed up until I eventually requested a bill. The employees also often stood and spoke to eachother in groups. Also took them 10 minutes just to deliver a small bowl of seaweed.

It was nice to visit back Sushi Galore at Hyde Park after a couple years. They have a big aquarium; which I like from saltwater fish and then discus fish to tropical fish from Australia-New Zealand. That is what makes me a great atmosphere to have a big aquarium. The service is great and go for the lunch menu, and it is around under $30 per patron. I like the sushi pizza and the tempura shrimps. It was not too busy when I came to visit. I like the sushi rolls. My favourite is mainly anything that is fish such as tuna, salmon, red snapper, etc. They do offer Japanese sake. The menu is on their iPads. I recommend anything to try the sushi pizza of any flavour of your choice. The gyoza is very flavourful and it is a clean environment as it is peaceful. I will visit back again anytime soon. I will try other items on the menu next time and the noodles as well. I want to try the dinner menu, too. Great sushi restaurant in London, Ontario.

My girlfriend and I loves this sushi is our spot to go every time we go on a date there is a lady who is blonde she is probably the sweetest person ever and we are so happy she serve us every time we go!

This was the best service I have ever had in a restaurant. For 20 dollars this place is the best, my only complaint is that the rice on the sushi was over cooked and there was not too much variety on the menu

Sushi was great, lots to choose from and priced fairly.not much parking outside. Washrooms very dirty! If you decide to give them a try do takeout instead, much better experience.

Any day of the week, this is my go-to place for all you can eat sushi. I've been going to this location for 2 years now when I can. The service always as you would expect for all you can eat - fast and efficient. The food quality is also very good and fresh. I highly recommended going here when you have a sushi craving. I would also highly recommend reserving a table if and when you go - it's a popular place!

Unfortunately the sushi here was a huge disappointment. The seaweed salad had a nauseating smell, I had a tiny bit and almost threw up. I picked this place as it is really close to my home, but I wish I had driven anywhere else. At this point, I only pray I don't get food poisoning

I think this is the most delicious sushi in the city and the servers are incredibly nice and efficient!

Easily the worst takeout sushi I've had, that's saying something. Wontons fried to oblivion and many with no filling. Tempura soggy. Rolls hardly have any contents.

You'd have to pay me to order from here again.

Wow! Talk about on point and amazing customer service! This was our first time visiting this sushi place on Fanshawe Park Rd and all I can say is WOW. Our server was absolutely amazing! We came in tonight (Saturday Oct 2nd) and I don’t think I have ever been to an all you can eat sushi with such amazing customer service! The experience was great and so was the service Thank You So Much MINJIE (our server) for such an amazing job!

This place is great! I first ordered on Father's Day because it was the closest to my home. But I discovered that the size of their rolls were huge and their prices were decent. I have gone back 3 times since then and I am addicted. I highly recommend this place. Price for what you get is great!

Delicious sushi and friendly staff! I love the all you can eat option. I don’t recommend ordering take-away on a holiday as they don’t allow pre-orders, and give you no time estimate of how long your order will take to be ready. On a normal day takeaway is only 10-20 minutes but on Mother’s Day we waited 2 hours and on Family Day we waited 3 hours.

I order from here at least once a month. It's absolutely amazing food wonderful service and the price is fair. You save 10% on your order if you order online as well. Highly recommend the food

I came from Toronto and comparing to the sushi places from there this is low quality, overpriced and cheap tasting.

2 star because waitres was nice or else I would give 1 star.

Always a pleasure. Sushi Galore has great service and very tasty food. We have brought friends from out of town there, as it is our favourite Sushi restaurant in London, Ontario (NW, Hyde Park)

I’ve been here a few times and although their food is decent, the service is hit or miss. One time our male waiter came once in the beginning to give us drinks and never came back to ask for refills throughout the night. I was there with one other person and we had to repeatedly ask where our food was, a number of items we ordered never arrived. We were also told some of the items we ordered were not being served tonight which we found strange but that didn’t bother us too much.

Our last experience there was much better we had a lovely server who was on the ball and food was great and arrived on time. The atmosphere is nice however the fish tanks are extremely dirty and kind of unsettling while eating.

Every item we tried was excellent, especially for a buffet! The coconut ice cream was a pleasant surprise as well!

Still the best sushi offering in London. Definitely try the Big Boss roll. This is my and many of my friends favourite sushi roll we have ever tried.

I enjoy the food here and am so grateful that they're open for takeout during the lockdown. The service this time was very different from the norm. I was having trouble ordering from the website so I tried calling my order in as I've done in the past. No one answered so I thought I would walk in to place my order. I asked to place an order to takeout and was asked " have you listened to our voice mail? ", I replied that I had. "Well.what did it say? " I told them that I could save 10% for ordering online. "and? " She said. I then explained that the website wasn't working for me today and I tried calling Multiple times with no answer and just wanted some take out.
I know we're in tough times. I'm sure some people are not the nicest people but I'm not sure what I did to deserve the attitude I received.
I guess I could have used Uber eats but I heard they take a cut from the restaurant for their services.
Needless to say I'm out off. Fortunately the food is still good.

For anyone, like myself, with a severe shellfish allergy this place is amazing. I was always able to tell them about my allergy and they made sure there was no cross contamination. I've felt completely safe. Great sushi too! Very fresh and delicious. However, I am only able to give 4 stars, because I am unable to order from them anymore. My friends and I usually do takeout and there is no where on the website to add notes of my allergy, and they are no longer answering their phones so I can tell them. Very frustrating.

Good quality take out and all you can eat. Provide good portions, quality food and fast service. The service is good and very polite.

I DO express my gratitude for the receptivity that me and my wife received in Sushi Galore’s restaurant. The elegant atmosphere surrounded by cozy booth tables, well designed architecture, elegance, and refinement, makes Galore the perfect place for a very wonderful occasion, such as celebration, or family meeting.
The associated deserves the best acknowledgments ever! And, on this matter I would like to pay Andrew and Charmaine a beautiful and colourful compliment, for the brilliant work performed, by assisting us all the time. They do not halt for a single moment. Andrew is very often checking about the wellness of all customers, whereas Charmaine with her sympathy is assisting us with a broad and very sincere smile.
And, regarding the oriental good, they are very tasteful, flavorous in all aspects. Once here, I found the best rolls I have ever tasted in my life. In every bite, an explosion of flavours comes into your mouth! All the menu is worthy of appreciation.
Hence, all in all, yes, Galore is worthy of our admiration and respect.

I have been to sushi galore HUNDEREDS of times and it always leaves us with full bellies. The chain is by far one of my favorites. The staff is kind and willing and the ambiance is intriguing.

I highly recommend the spicy salmon roll end the dynamite roll. Also dip your hand in the hot and sour soup if you love spicy food as much as I do.

They advertise last seating is 9pm.
We arrived at 8pm on a Saturday and felt like we were holding everyone up.
The server never pushed us, but all chairs are on the tables upside down, all the kitchen staff are standing around in the dining room I think they turned on the air conditioning, it got cold.
We left the building shortly after 9pm. Definately NOT last seating at 9pm, they close the kitchen at 9pm.

Never really enjoyed anything because we felt rushed to leave. Thought with a last seating we could sit and converse after dinner for a few minutes. It was a negative experience for me and the food wasn't something that tipped the scales in their favour either. Overall, never going back.

It's not my favorite restaurant. Every food item tasted the same. The food quality was just not there.

The food was tasty, the pace was good, and our server was stellar. I always love my trips here and have never had a bad experience!

Fantastic service and very quick with bringing food out. Hostess was super nice and friendly. Food tasted great, some of the best all you can eat I've had in a while.

Updated my review from 4 stars to 5. Never had a bad experience. Food is good, prices are typical and today the service was AWESOME. Our service was Monica and whatever shes being paid it's not enough. She just seemed to really know what she was doing: our drinks were refilled within seconds of us finishing them, she was really attentive but not overbearing. It was just really nice.

We have always had good service here but today it was the best I think I've ever had at a sushi place.

Honestly probably the best quality sushi I have ever had. The salmon just melts in your mouth and all the food tastes fresh! Exceptional service and we will be for sure coming back again!

Fast, friendly service and good sushi. I also love how the all you can eat menu portions are small so you don't overstuff yourself and end up with too much food.

This is a go-to all you can eat for me. Consistent sushi quality and reliably good service. Plus - there's a huge fish tank. Nice spot

We love the quality of food and the range of choices. Great service and very friendly, attentive staff. A go to for us when planning a larger group dinner. One of the best choices in London!

My boyfriend and I have been going here for a couple of years now and it's always been good. On Saturday we ordered take out and the salmon was old and slimy and everything tasted kind of gross. I called to complain and was told I'd get a call back and I'm still waiting on that phone call.not going here again!

Amazing variety, always fresh, and the sashimi never disappoints. Been a handful of times and can have a different style meal every time. Service is likely the best of any sushi restaurant in the city.

Bill costed 170$ for very sub par sushi, had rotten avacado in our sushi and old and stale won ton soup. Portion size on anything not sushi is tiny. Teriyaki Chicken came with only 5 tiny pieces. Bathrooms were disgusting and the walls of our booth looked like they were never cleaned

Delicious eats and great atmosphere. Some of our orders didn’t show up but overall we came out pleased. Our waiter was A1.cool dude.

Delicious sushi; generous with wasabi and ginger; the staff were friendly, though the service could be faster. It gets crowded, so expect them to forget serving a part if your order. For sure will go there again.

Service is a bit slow and a lot of order mix up happened when we were there, that being said the food quality is average.

Didn't like that the servers had to punch in a password to send a request. Also didn't like that the table wasn't cleaned very quickly, our table was ped up with dirty dishes and it wasn't even that busy. Also didn't like that theres no shrimp dumplings. The ambiance is nice but the food wasn't as good as heart.

Food was great but service was terrible. Gave away our reserved table even though we were on time, slow to take orders and then lost half of our orders.

Great food and service but some of their dishware was heavily chipped and damaged which isn't great.

We ate in this time, the quality of food vs the last time wasn't that great. Everything we ordered that was battered was quite heavily battered (tempura.etc). Overall I'd say the food was just ok and feels like they used to try harder.
