Recent edit (March 24,2023) : The takeout is a mixed bag in terms of receiving the food. I always call in and they give me the time estimate. Which is usually accurate but the person in the front is running around and not paying attention to the customers she served. My partner went to go pick up the food, paid and was waiting for it when another customer came in, paid and got her food immediately. Meanwhile my partner had to ask again for the food, and they asked him how he would like to pay, like he did not just pay 2 minutes ago. It’s usually not bad, but when picking up food and it’s ready, just have a more organized way of handing off the food.

This place is against people with disabilities! There Ableist 100%, THEY LIED ABOUT “NOT BEING WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY, WHEN THEY ARE, THEY JUST DIDN’T WANT SOMEONE IN A WHEELCHAIR IN THE RESTURANT” I called last night and spoke with a man, I asked if this location is wheelchair assessable for a friend of mine, the man said “No there is stairs outside and there is no ramp for the step” I had to tell my friend he would not be able to come as they did not cater to people like him. I ended up going to the restaurant to order food, just to see the entrance is all flat, the whole restaurant is flat, there is NO stairs or even a small step to enter, only stairs to the washroom. A person in a wheelchair could 100% of gone through the entrance without a issue, and sat a table, the only thing unassesble is the washroom as there’s a flight of stairs but my friend wouldn’t of need to use the washroom.the rude staff member just didn’t want to have to deal with a person in a wheelchair I assume? Horrible customer service, horrible mindset, but the sushi is amazing.

Love this place! One of my favourites in the city, im afraid to tell all of my friends about it haha It's always pretty busy unless you go during the day, but still quick turnover and you dont have to wait long for a seat. The food is always fresh and tastes great. I also LOVE that they dont kick you out quickly after you eat (like MANY downtown sushi places). You can relax and enjoy their really great tea. Highlight recommend, but dont tell too many people:)

The rolls and sashimi pieced are extremely generous and very delicious! My siblings and I drive down 2-3 times a month from Vaughan because no AYCE places can compare. Yes, its a la carte but oh-so very filling. Love it here!

The sushi here was fresh and tasted great. The menu prices are really affordable. I really like the variety of sushi rolls on the menu.

We love Sushi Zuki - it's a family favourite! Living a few km from the restaurant for 4 years, this place became a regular treat for their exceptionally good sushi and sashimi, and extremely generous portions. The cowboy roll is my favourite, and my wife simply loves their sashimi combo. Tremendous value as the portions are huge for a very reasonable price. Very highly recommended. Every time we visit Toronto, Sushi Zuki is a must do. They also give a cash discount for takeout orders.

Sushi Zuki is our go-to for quick, tasty and affordable sushi. It adjusts the sauces to my liking and makes the maki the right size. Not too big and not too small. We always opt for take-out but eating in at the counter is a fun experience.

Wondering why spicy salmon is all over the menu? Because it saves them money - contains hardly any fish, just stale tempura bits smothered in a mysterious yuck sauce.

Please pass on Sushi Yucki. Don't let my mistake be for nothing. Just don't. Bad food can ruin your day.

Update: Went yesterday and quality still amazingly superior. I am so happy they haven’t changed like many other restaurants cutting costs. Loved? Every bite. Still slightly less expensive than most sushi restaurants serving slightly lower quality food. I highly recommend! In my opinion, it’s the best sushi restaurant in all Ontario.

My all time fave in Toronto. It’s a small but cute place. Their sushi is always fresh and delicious. We always get a combo which includes 8 rolls and it’s more than enough for 4 people or 5 people depending on your hunger.
They don’t have their own parking lot but you can always park to side streets. It’s not gonna be a problem.

If you’re looking for a place to have affordable sushi that you want to enjoy every time, this is the place. Zuki has been my place for more than a year and it is always incredibly delicious and fresh. Even though the location is not the best, the place has been updated after COVID and it has severely improved. I strongly recommend you to try it!

Was really busy. Host was amazing and efficient. Food was not the greatest. Price is very affordable. Sashimi was warm. Rolls was to saucy. I wouldn't come back

Have been here multiple times and now it’s my go to for sushi place, for dine in and take out. Fast, good quality service and well priced.

I don’t usually leave reviews. However I was so impressed with the waitress who served me tonight that I had to say something. I was only picking up a takeout order, but the restaurant was totally packed and had a pile of takeout orders and customers were lining up out the door on a Sunday night. I don’t know the usual situation but it’s a smallish restaurant and at the time there were just two waitstaff on only chef (that I could see). But my server was an absolute rockstar! In the time I was there to pick up my order I literally saw her running around cleaning tables, taking orders seating people, settling bills, answering the many phone calls and collecting food from the kitchen. She was very polite and kept her composure so well. Despite the long wait, I don’t think anyone felt they could complain because it was obvious that the staff were working super hard to get through a what most I would find a very stressful situation. Thank you so much! Give your staff a raise~ You guys are make delicious food and I will keep coming back!

Very very good sushi. Fresh, tasty, many unique flavours. Reasonably priced, not outrageous. Giving 4 start instead of 5 because sashimi were not that great: thick sliced and not tasty. Will recommend anyway and will definitely visit again.

Excellent sushi that won’t break the bank. I really enjoyed the sushi here and it was not at all expensive. But the quality was better than expected. We also had the udon with chicken and sizzling beef. The quantity was filling and both tasted good.

The service was fast and efficient. Overall a nice place to visit if you’re looking for good sushi and Japanese cuisine at reasonable prices. Recommended!

Zuki is perhaps my go to sushi place! Don't be fooled by their place as it is quite small but the sushi rolls are HUGE and the sashimi slices are super thicc.the pricing is very reasonable and they have a toooon of variety. 10000% recommended for sushi lovers! I definitely come here way too much.

Sushi was very fresh and delicious! Service was a bit slow as other tables who arrived after us was served first. Nonetheless, superb food! I hope the quality of the sushi stays consistent!

Side Note: Not sure if this location has the same owners as California Sushi (@ St. Clair) but they have the exact same menu and the interior looks identical! Will definitely be coming back to this location though, as it is closer to me!

I literally love this place, it’s not super expensive and the sushi is awesome.i love the atmosphere of the restaurant and everyone is extremely nice.i’ve been going here for years and it still holds up.

First and last time going here. It took 1 hour before my order was ready. I got home and the sushi was warm. Secondly they missed out my gyoza sauce. I called them they said to come back and pick it up. I told them no as I refuse to comeback after giving them an hour to prepare it and at the very least get my order right. They didn't care and said they'll give me the sauce next time I'm there. Not acceptable this is the first and last time I'm ever going there

Drivers, please note that the small street by the store, Chamberlain Ave, is a one way street and you cannot enter it from Eglinton. Make 3 right turns at the next light to get into that street.

Store has very cozy lighting. Not very bright but not at all dark. Staff are very friendly! Very clean store, including the restrooms.

The temperature inside is perfect. It wasn't cold, nor was it very hot; I was inside for a good while with a jacket on and didn't feel uncomfortable in the slightest!

See photos: There are several types of seats available for your comfort. There is the usual table with couches for 4-6 people to sit at comfortably; tables with couch/chair combinations; table with chairs; most surprisingly, there are 2 semi-private booths!

Today was my very first time in this restaurant. I was waiting for a table with my family, because wasn’t tables available to seat I choose take out, one minute after I ordered one table was available and they told me that I can’t seat because I was already ordered takeout. The food is Excellent but this kind of thing can’t happens I could eat and spent more than just what I ordered for takeout and for 25 minutes me and my family was looking for a empty table until our takeout was prepared. Not a good start for me

Sushi was subpar, quality wasn’t outstanding and the cuts of sashimi were WAY too big and made the mouth feel not so great. The spicy salmon roll was nice, but the spicy mayo was more on the sweeter side which isn’t my preferred taste. Overall ok nothing all too special

Favourite sushi place. I order so much from them I think they recognize my phone number. Sushi is always so fresh and service is great. Only ever ordered take out but I will have to sit in one day.

Authentic, tasty Japanese sushi at reasonable price. Yes, they are open for dine-in:) Ample parking on the streets. Highly recommended.

The portions are HUGE, the quality is phenomenal. The sushi pizza had a giant mountain of spicy crab mix piled on top.

Best budget sushi in the city, along with Sushi California (St. Clair West). It's one of those places where you have to know what to order. Not everything is amazing, but certain things are on point. Some of my go to: Spicy Salmon rolls, salmon avocado hand roll, salmon sushi. They are busy during peak lunch and dinner hours, call ahead and pick up in 30 mins. 10% off with cash at the moment.

You order 4 hours ahead and still not ready and still won’t call. They even block your number if you call to check because it’s taking too long.

I never felt so unappreciated in my whole life. I’ve been a loyal customer for years. I’ve talked about this place with friends and family. But today, New Year’s Eve, I placed my dinner to celebrate with my family and they totally forgot about my order. I called 24 hours in advance to make sure I wouldn’t have problems and when I got there to pickup my food they said my order had been canceled because they called me to confirm and I didn’t answer the phone. I had my phone with me all the time and nobody called. I called them during the day and nobody answered! I feel disrespected but most of all I feel angry and extremely disappointed! My New Year’s Eve meal is ruined thanks to these people. I’ll never order anything with theme again.

I call this excellent restaurant often since I love the special air that is characterizes this place. The staff is very cordial and professional. The service is impressively fast. Also, the food you eat is first-rate. I ate there many times and I was always pleased. The payment is fair. I recommend this place to all my friends.

This is my go to place everytime I crave sushi. I dont see them on Ubereats or Doordash, but worth it to try by pick up! The price is very cheap but taste is good!

I am a regular client of Sushi Zaki for many years, visiting this place 2 to 3 times a month. The food is amazing and the service staff is polite, however the owner have no concept of customer service! After making mistakes with my food order in the last too visits, 2 mistakes in a row in the last one all they can say is "we are very sorry" still charging the full price for the meal. In most restaurants, for a less serious mistake, you will be offered at the list a free desert. I am heart broken, but they will not see me there again. Bye bye Sushi Zuki

Came here while visiting some friends. It's a nice cozy restaurant with intimate flair. Plenty of menu options and the price is just right.

Very well priced for the large portions! Three exclamation marks! Would 10/10 recommend for peeps who just wanna grab some good simple sushi. Even gave us an extra piece of sake sashimi: D

Cheap, but would not recommend the large maki party tray.it's all either vegetable based rolls or rolls with fake crab. Barely any salmon or tuna. And the worst thing was.for 80 pieces, they gave the tiniest amount of wasabi!

We arrived at this restaurant for lunch. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. Well, we were not disappointed. The crew welcomed us with a smile and we had an excellent feeling. This place was clean and food came out fast and fresh. The Sashimi is huge. Friendly staff. No beer on tap. Very good pricing. Wide selection of items on menu. Very busy. Go early!

It used to be my go-to place for my Friday sushi as it's pretty cheap and really close to where I live, but after having thrown away my whole meal for the second time as the fish was CLEARLY not fresh and after almost choking on a bone tonight, I think I'll stay away from this restaurant from now on. Amazing lunch had here with my mom! Got the seafood udon, spicy salmon maki and tofu. Udon came with miso and salad which were of the highest quality! Udon was great, lots of seafood included. Maki and tofu came first, and came very very quickly. GREAT value. Overall 10/10!

I went there to meet up with some coworkers/friends. It’s a cute little spot. I use to drive by this restaurant on my way to work. From the outside it’s not much to look at but the inside is where it’s at. Like the name of the restaurant says it’s a Sushi spot and I personal don’t do sushi. They did have a few other options on the menu that was not sushi which I appreciated. Everyone else ordered sushi except for me. I ordered the shrimp tempura it was good paired with the sauce. I could have eaten 10 of those. The price was good. Service was good. I loved the way the restaurant was decorated, the lay out, the flow, and cleanliness. I didn’t like the fact that the two TVs where showing CP24 on repeat, even though it gave use topics to talk about. I would have prefer some mellow music but overall it’s a cute little spot.
