Excellent service! I called for service on my dryer. I had an appointment the next morning with Lee and Denise that was training. The panel was replaced quickly! Lee even looked at our fridge and we ordered a drawer cover! Impressed with the speedy efficient service and professional demeanour! Sutton & Son is now my appliance service "go to" local company!

I've had 2 great experiences. One was with our washer and the second was with installation of an "over the stove" microwave. Mickey arrived on time, was very thorough and explained helpful hints for prevention of problems. Highly recommend!

Today, I was wowed from the technician that came. I’ve been having an ongoing problem for years with my fridge Miki the technician came and gave me a solution, saving me lots of money. He is very professional, knowledgeable and quick. I would highly recommend them.

The gentleman that came to service my Kitchen aid fridge is named Mickey. He was very professional, considerate, caring and very pleasant to chat with. He explained what needed to be done and why the fridge needed to be fixed. Excellent and I would ask for him to come and service my appliances anytime.

From my initial phone call to the office where they reviewed my problem and gave me ideas and costs of what it could be to Shane coming and fixing my oven I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Efficient, reasonable and very professional and I won't hesitate to use Sutton and Son again.

Called for a new motor for my washing machine. I was able to get it right away and my washer is working great again. Customer service was top notch and a fair price too!

Just had a great experience with Sutton and Son. Our Bosch dishwasher was leaking from the sump. I called Sutton on Saturday. We talked about what could be wrong. I took a picture and they emailed back almost right away with the proposed solution, an accurate price for parts and labour, and an option within 2 days to have the service technician at my house. The technician called us first thing in the morning as promised and gave us a 2-hour window for his arrival. He arrived exactly when he said and was ready to go. He had the right parts and knew exactly what to do. I had previously watched the repair on YouTube. It looked like a major teardown was required, but the technician was an expert. He had the job done within an hour, and it was done perfectly. Efficient, professional, clean, completely dependable and expert! That's my experience dealing with Sutton. They will be my choice every time.

My dishwasher needed a repair. Broken Glass from wine glass got stuck in pump. Technician was awesome. Explained to use the pro setting, not normal. The units have sensors on inlet water temp, water drainage temp, water drainage clarity. Even a test to check if water purity is hard. Because I only used normal.my filter got greasy a glass broke.and drainage was slower than normal. The pump sensor would have alerted to this before the glass got sucked in. They have a great team.

They told me the truth and I asked to change the part. They explained it wasn't necessary.

Sutton and sons saved us! Bosch couldn’t even repair their own microwave. Shane the technician was tremendous to work with and explained in detail why our machine wasn’t working. Fixed the machine on a timely matter. Highly recommend.

Our oven errored out due to overheating so we contacted Sutton & Son to figure out next steps. Mickey was incredibly helpful in diagnosing the problem and providing information on what needed to be done.

Expert Knowledge

When our fridge stopped cooling in April, we contacted the manufacturer’s (Thermador) customer service for repair. Despite several visits over the next FIVE MONTHS and trying out new parts (PCB), the manufacturer’s technician could not repair the fridge. He told us the fridge was basically unrepairable by them due to unavailability of compatible parts. We contacted Sutton & Son as a last resort. Mike, the technician, arrived at the scheduled time and figured out within minutes that the problem was a reversed connection to the power switch. It took less than 15 minutes and a knowledgeable technician to end our misery of five months.

We are thankful to Mike for his expert knowledge and workmanship. He was professional, polite, efficient and courteous from the initial call to the service visit. Our fridge was repaired to our satisfaction at a reasonable price!

Shane was professional, called ahead giving us a two-hour window for arrival and got our dishwasher fixed promptly. I like that they are up front about costs and expectations. We always choose Sutton & Son for appliance repairs.

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to Sutton and Sons for making a bad day much better.

My oven stopped working and a quick internet search indicated it could be my "mother board". I chose to call Sutton and Sons due to their high reviews and because they have been serving Hamilton and area for almost 100 years!

I had the absolute pleasure of both emailing and speaking to Amanda, she is not only professional but personable too. She did caution me that a service person would be able to diagnose it to avoid making a mistake on which part would require replacement. I think of myself handier than I probably am but I still took the chance and went ahead and ordered the part. There was no pressure at all and she did say to call if I ran into any issues I couldn't handle. I can safely say I will be using my oven again, tonight!

I called this company to arrange to have them come and look at my dishwasher. The woman on the phone told me that they would assign me a day and they'd call me that day and let me know what time they were coming.

I told her that I'm a healthcare worker and can't sit at home all day, but if they were OK with me rescheduling, if I wasn't able to be here at the time they wanted to come, I was OK with this.

The woman said that would be considered a cancellation and I'd be charged a fee.

I'm not sure how you can charge a cancellation fee when you haven't scheduled a time to show-up?

It sounds like they don't really like healthcare workers and only want to do business with people who work from home. So I will be looking elsewhere for repair services.

Great place for DIY people. They are unlike other appliance businesses who always want to come over and charge for giving an estimate. Steve spoke to me on the phone diagnosed the issue by asking a few simple questitons, ordered the part and encouraged me to do the repair myself. I was able to instal the part by following instructions provided to me thereby saving on service/repair charge.

First and foremost, Steve was professional, helpful, courteous and patient, without his help my oven would be sitting at the dump right now and my family would be living off of microwave dinners until a new stove arrived from backorder.
When my oven stopped working I cleverly Googled how to repair it then proceeded to Sutton and Son to purchase a replacement element. After installing the new element my oven still did not work and panic set in. I immediately called Sutton and Son and Steve proceeded to walk me through the issue and steps to assess the source of the problem. Steve suggested a new fix and proceeded to track down replacement parts for repair. Steve is a very busy guy but he took the time to help me assess the source of the problem, hunt down parts and then very clearly and concisely explain to me how I could fix the oven myself without requiring a service call. I appreciate and acknowledge Steve could have easily booked and charged me for a technician call; I am grateful he gave me the confidence and opportunity to attempt to repair the issue myself. Thank you for putting the customer ahead of profit and for taking the time to help me help myself! Sincerely.
