Suzy's Ice Creamporium/ Original Albert's

Alberts is a mainstay, a must go for tourists yet the locals swarm this place all year long. Fresh cut fries are always the same. Very consistent and very good. The chili cheese fries are awesome. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It's deep fried everything and it's dam good. There's always a lineup in the summer but they move you along quickly without compromising quality. Some of the newer trucks by the bridge are subpar. Just come here and walk to the bridge.

My wife and I were staying in Point Edward for the night and we had heard good things about this place, so we gave it a try. Glad we did, as it was great! The prices are very good, the food was great and they have a good selection of menu items. I generally don't like fresh cut fries, as most places serve them soggy and overcooked. Not here, they were light and crispy, and some of the best I've ever had. As we live only an hour away, we will definitely be making some more trips to here.

I absolutely love the ice cream from here. It's great, good service, and everything. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent staff and service.unfortunately the famous fries of 70 years are not the same quality as we have previously enjoyed.tried 4 times and same results.no taste and over half the plate were small ends.

Deep fried pickle is my favorite so far.
And next would be their chilli dog!

Went to Albert's, great fries and impressive history! Don't really deal with anyone except for ordering, but haven't been disappointed yet!

The best fries anywhere, however, lately they are not as crispy on the outside as they were always in the past.

I liked it and give it 2 thumbs up. They know how to cook and been at it so long they are a Sarnia tradition. I had the fish and chips, with coleslaw. It was cooked properly and fish was in strips. The chips were fresh cut and done right.

This place was recommended to us by a friend. It was the best plate of fries I have ever had!

Fantastic! A perfect spot for a burger and fries. Staff is great and do their best to get you your meal as quickly as possible. Portions are GREAT! Burgers are great. And the onion rings are the best I've had in a very long time. The friend pickles were also perfect.

Amazing fries but parking is a real challenge especially when people take up 2 spaces for one pickup truck

Some of the best French fries I have ever had! Rest of the menu is good as well... But the fries! We make the (over an hour) drive as much as we can and we always stop here. Strangely enough, I haven't tried the ice cream side.

OMG go here. This is the best place for fries in Sarnia. Forgot the food trucks by the water. These guys are#1. Dill pickle fries are absolutely amazing. So flipping good

I was told if you're in Sarnia you need to experience the famous chips under the bridge, but don't go under the bridge go to Original Alberts nearby. We ordered the regular, pizza, cheese, dill, and fully loaded to share with my extended family. They were all fantastic and our only regret was not ordering more.

Great fry and ice cream shop. We got a large poutine and an order of onion rings and they were both delicious. The kids each got an ice cream. They have an impressive amount of flavours available! They didn't use cheese curds on the poutine but it was still really good. The onion rings were a good size and cooked perfectly. The line was just reaching the door when we got there and our wait wasn't short, but not too long. Service was friendly and efficient. Would definitely come again.

Pretty ridiculous you don’t take American debit or credit. Especially being at the border. You do yourself and visitors a disservice

Tried the food there and it was great to take to the beach and the boxes they give us convenient to carry around

Well, have I got a place for you! But seriously this is one of our yearly stops for ice cream, and we usually come in late May when it’s not super warm, and if I’m going to an ice cream place when it’s not super hot, it’s got to be good ice cream.

My husband and I are retired and live in Corunna. Over the years we have visited several French fry trucks in and around our area. Alberts Original in Point Edward is by far the best.the price, speedy service, quality is second to none.we are patiently waiting for Alberts to open for the season.

We were eager to have our favorite French fries, went on the Tuesday following weekend opening and were disappointed
The fries were over cooked and had a brown coloring.didn't finish them.

The ice cream place and the restaurant are connected, but have seperate entrances and you order separately. We had ice cream and mexi fries and both were delicious!

Albert's French fries is a local favorite restaurant with the best poutine, plus the staff and services are just simply amazing. Albert's is a seasonal restaurant.

I came from out of town with my family and ordered 6 poutine's. To my absolute Horror we received shredded cheese and gravy. I should asked for a refund right then and there.
Poutine is made with cheese curds. Anything else is an insult to your clientele and canadians.

My kids and I were taking a trip to Sarnia from Wheatley so I looked up best fry stands in town. This place meets all requirements! Food was delicious, fresh, large servings and affordable. We tried the Mexi fries, loaded fries, popcorn chicken and fries, stuffed spuds, and the spicy chicken burg. We will definitely return! Fantastic!

A ton of ways to have French fries, Hamburg's and hot dog's.all awesome choices.
Plenty of flavors of ice cream to choose from.
Sea food or fish & chips as well.

Delicious bridge fries in Sarnia. Worth the wait for their delicious food. Nice to see they support the community as well with food drives and donations. Highly recommend for locals and tourists

I got fish and chips.it tasted like swamp fish. If it truly is halibut (I'm skeptical) it's got to be captain highliner. I was super disappointed.
My husband's chicken fingers were fine.

Poutine was good, service was fast, but unfortunately even in times of covid the box wasn't closable, making it a bit of an inconvenience to bring home.

Delicious. They make a killing off those fries. Usually a line up, but they burn through it and it's worth the wait. Ice cream selection is superb.

Great place to get Sarnia's famous bridge fries off season. Gotta try the Mexi fries and poutine.

Hidden gem in the village of Point Edward. Fast finger foods, known for their fries. Great fish and chips with a reasonably priced menu. Great spot under the Bluewater bridge. A summer go-to!

Casual, typical ice cream parlor adjoining Albert's Fish and Chips.so fabulous dinner and dessert!

EDIT: Removed Oreo from frozen yogart, will not be using this place because of that, Only went here for Oreo, Why. -Last review: Best Ice Cream IN TOWN, I go here all the time then head to the bridge and enjoy my ice cream =)
