Great staff! One thing I love about sweet dreams are their staff, they’re always friendly and nice. I love their unique non milk tea flavours like kiwi, fuji apple and white peach!

Busy bubble tea shop! I always get bubble tea with a slushy version (icy swirl). Thai tea here is amazing!

This is such a cute little shop and the atmosphere is amazing. We got a large taro milk tea and it was super tasty! The drink wasn't grainy or bitter like some other bubble tea shops. The store had lots of adorable trinkets and toys everywhere and also sold mystery bags for $30. I bought a bag and it was very worth it and I would definitely buy another one in the future. This is a great shop and I would recommend it to anyone who likes boba or cute things. The store also had food on their menu and I didn't try any but I will come back again and try other menu items.

Asked for suggestions from the associate and I LOVED IT! The options for personalising your own tea is absolutely perfect you can try out whatever you want and they won’t disappoint you. Plus point you can sit there and play board games and purchase plushies and they are so adorable!

I love the bubble tea that they serve here! I've only gone about 5 times but each time has been great. The tea was amazing, the people were very nice, it smelled good, and the atmosphere was so cheerful and bubbly, it always made me happy just walking in!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! It's teas, employees, it's atmosphere & the shop itself is too freaking cute! Awwwe I could live in this tea shop! EVERYTIME I come down south (from North Bay) I visit & savour my bubble tea ever so slowly! Highly recommend anyone to try this place if you haven't yet.you'll be a forever fan

The workers there are sooooo nice and welcoming, their products are cute, the drinks are affordable compared to other bubble tea shops, and they offer free board games! Cute decorations too I ordered a hot brown sugar hojicha, it was under $6, not too sweet, and tasted delicious 1000/10 would go again （╹╹）

Great Bubble Tea. Fast Service. Great Overall experience. My only problem is they don’t accept Cash. This directly hurts poor people. Many poor people ONLY have cash and don’t have debit / credit or cellphones to pay with. Please accept cash for the benefit of many poor in Waterloo region who ONLY pay with cash. As an added benefit of cash the mega corporation credit card companies and big corrupt banks get 0% of the transaction. 4/5 stars.

Great selection of tea, desserts and even iced coffee! Staff are very friendly too and can talk to them if you're new and unsure of what to order. Only issue is service times can take a while, especially on busy days.

Love everything about this place! Won’t say it’s the best bubble tea in town, but it’s their small adjustments that make them the best for me at least! They can put honey stevia or sweetener instead of sugar! And replace regular milk with your choice of milk, free of cost! Moreover best thing they add a whey protein scoop. Definitely try them out! Try their mango milk tea! Awesome taste

I've loved Sweet Dreams for Years. I remember when they had the Goku/Vegeta tip jars and you could tip while voting for your favorite Other bubble tea places have popped up, and my people have tried them, but I always choose here

I really recommend saving some $ and going with the daily specials! The churro-chai milk tea was amazing. I wish I got the name of the cashier - she was super bubbly & kind. (I ordered around 6: 30pm Wed, Nov 9).

I also love all the cute little stuffies inside as well. A unique & tasty bubble tea shop!

This is my absolute favourite place to get boba tea. It's comfortable and a delight to be in. I'm never dissatisfied with the quality. I can be a bit slow at times (due to mental and visual impairments), but the staff is always patient, helpful, and welcoming nonetheless. I can't enough recommend this place and definitely recommend trying it if you haven't already done so.

The only minor qualm I have is the lack of durian flavoured milk tea. That's my favourite flavour, and bringing it to my favourite teashop would probably bring 5 stars to 6. Please bring durian to the menu, that'd be the absolute best addition ever.

Ordered one large coffee but it wasn’t filled to the top. Only was about 80%. More like a regular than a large.

No flavour in their bubble tea, but might be okay for their demographic of customers because the majority of them are not Asian. This place is white washed bubble tea, come here if you like a western take on things that shouldn't be western. Otherwise there are lots of better alternatives in the area.

It is a cute little shop, the tea was good, but I think I liked it more for its ambience. It's a very feel good space. They have other cute stuff to buy, I bought two beautiful tiffin boxes.

This store is busy, had a line about 7 people deep. Prices seemed fair. They sell a bunch of cool board games and have some art on the wall for sale.

A little slow but that's because the place is swamped with UW students. Very good prices for a bubble tea though!

LOVE THIS PLACE! I would honestly give it 5 stars but yesterday when we went it took about 20 minutes to get our drinks and then another 15 to get our grilled cheese, so it was a little ridiculous for the wait especially because they didn't look busy BUT it is always delicious and worth the prices. I love the flavors they have and the sizes are amazing as well! We will definitely be coming back here to enjoy more!

Taste, declicasy, texture with amazing boutique of bubble tea, smoothes, cup cakes and so on. This could be undoubtedly, the best light refreshment joint in Waterloo area, with ethnic hand crafted bubble tea, mocha, latte and much more. The value for money can be felt, by long line up at with every sip, you feel authentic taste of each grain of hand crafted ingredients can be felt.

Highly recommended BBT place for those looking to get a drink there. The theme setting really neat along with many party games and plushy for sale.

They have an amazing menu to the point of being overwhelming (in a good way!) Love this place. Love the udon noodles and dumplings. Iced cappuccino BBT is my favourite.

BBT is good here. Definitely a great place to get BBT. Wait time is longer than other BBT places. Walked up to the cashier to order, waited a bit for an employee to acknowledge us while the four workers on duty were just laughing behind the BBT bar. BBT drinks would probably be made faster if employees didn't seem to focus on conversations amongst their co-workers rather than the customers in the establishment. Workers seem to be nice but lack customer service skills.

Love this place, the staff is great, and such are the drinks. The reason why I am giving a 3 stars, is cause when it comes to ordering food, they are tremendously slow. I ordered two drinks, and two grilled cheese sandwiches. And they gave me the drinks in about 6-7 minutes which is alright, but then I waited an extra 25-30 minutes for a simple grilled cheese! Ridiculous.

Cute place, good atmosphere, great bubble tea. Only downside is usually it has a long wait, but worth it in my opinion.

Wide variety of teas and options! The only place I know of that offers stevia and honey as sweeteners in bubble tea. Try the blueberry brie sandwich!

Haven't had bubble tea in years, saw this place and decided to stop in. My drink is super yummy, really hit the spot The service was amazing and the place is really cute! I love that they support local businesses, and I also loved to see the BLM support they show in their shop window! Will definitely be back.

Fabulous customer service, the person at the counter was very enthusiastic and outgoing. I tried the Jelly's, they weren't for me, but the mango flavour was still great!

Nice little place. This was the first time I ever tried bubble tea and wasn’t disappointed at all. The lady at the counter was very helpful and answered all my questions. Happy with the customer service. Ordered 2 drinks, which were delivered in 5 mins tops.

Love that they have non dairy options, & u can choose type and % of sweetener so u can make it healthy. And you can trust that the girls working there will take care of you. Always happy:)

The worst customer service! I used to like this place but not anymore! After waiting 20 minutes in line, I was so disappointed! Definitely I’m not going to come back!

Our go to bubble tea place. They have some of the only decaf bubble tea options in the city. Staff are always friendly although a bit disorganized at times- but they do try their best. It’s worth allowing a bit of extra time for your visit but the tea is always worth the wait.

My go to place for bubble tea in and around the university. Really lovely interior, very friendly staff, and great bubble tea!

Best bubble tea in Waterloo! The staff are so friendly and kind, the shop is so cute, the bubble tea is so good! It is a bit sweet (comparable to coco's). It is also a lot cheaper than other options. I cannot recommend it enough!

It was a nice place.the only thing they forgot were the tapioca pearls in our order.would still get drinks from this place.

I called to place an order for pickup. The lady advised they don't do that anymore. I explained we had a special circumstance and someone would absolutely be picking it up. NOPE. The individual flat out refused. Apparently, the owner told them that they don't have to. They told me to text the person picking up the order and then they would make it? What? The other person knows the order, how would texting the other person help you make the order?

I don't even know what to say. So incredibly dissapointed in the customer service. I just saw a post today by the owner about how wonderful the staff are. I don't think so.

You're not the only bubble tea shop in KW.

Horrible service at this establishment. As soon as I walk in all staff were extremely rude and proceeded to yell at me and my friend. We asked them to give us a second to decided to what we want and they started to verbally abuse us. Also my mask slipped under my nose by mistake and the small brunette hair lady (supervisor) proceeded to kick me out of the store. I WILL NEVER BE BACK AND DO NOT RECCOMENED THIS PLACE! All staff need to take a training on how to treat customers. This is not this first time I’ve experience such rude behaviour from the staff here.

Amazing bubble tea around! Girl who was taking our order was super nice. Great customer service and incredibly delicious food.

Nice drinks, friendly service! However, dont be in a hurry, as they were SO slow, especially on a weekend. It took 8 units/groups about 40 minutes to move through. Not sure why? Similar prices as Starbucks!

Some of the best butter tarts in town. Kids love the bubble tea (I don’t drink it), and the coffee is outstanding as well. Definitely recommend.

The staff here are friendly and helpful! They're especially busy in the summer, so be prepared to wait outside. They are efficient though, so the line does move quickly.

I was contacted by the very dedicated owner who offered making it up to us.
We gave it another try today. All our questions were pleasantly answers, had great service, felt very welcome and got awesome drinks.

Not going back
The drinks were ok, nothing fancy but the guy at the till was not friendly at all.
Because it was our first time, we wanted to ask questions and the way he answered them was not friendly proficient and he stuck to the bare minimum answer. It was as if someone is forcing to do his job.
He needs to be more customer-service oriented.
