I usually come here all the time with my friends and family for casual dine in. But dude, the waitress this time was so arrogant, nonsense and rude. SAADE ETHE EDA DA H TASTE HUNDA was her reply when I complained about the chicken Korma tasted way sweeter than usual. Never coming here and m embarrassed since I bought my sister straight here for food as she landed. So frustrated

It's all about the food here.
Service is okay. They do their job, no more, no less, but the food here is excellent everytime. I've been here several times, tried several dishes and although I like some better than others, it's always high quality, authentic and fresh. If your looking for good Indian food, this is a good bet.

We pick food for 15 person’s today and we find this piece of metal from bengan bartha trey …this happened twice now…. We send msg to the owner as well but he never responded….

Overall a good place to eat with fresh food.
Good customer service and available parking.
Some dishes in the thali are good, while others were bland. Experience plays a part in knowing what to order.

Sweet mahal is having variety of both veg and non-veg food and It’s my dad’s favourite place as always.

I ordered 20 samosas and asked them to add an extra sauce, the lady who cashed me out told me i can ask the one putting samosas to add extra small sauce. When i asked her she told me i have to pay extra, I went back to the cashier and then she goes like yes you have to pay extra but I can give you only one extra sauce. I don’t mind paying for it but the cashier could have said that in the first place, secondly the customer service is really poor. Please consider changing your employee or train them well how to treat a customer in the first place otherwise you are just losing business.

Always great food and reasonable prices, all the girls working there are very helpful, but Saman and Gagan goes an extra mile to help customers.keep up the good work ️️️️️

Worst food Dont ever order the chicken here because its always old and we found plastic in paneer tikka also

I did not like the way they prepare samosa. Who put sliced potatoes in samosas. It should be prepared with mashed potatoes. Still need to learn traditional ways of preparing snacks and all.

Recently i took gulabjamuns from them and found one fly in …. When i called them and she said sorry and when i asked i am going to come back for replacement they said they are not going to make any replacement ‍️‍️‍️‍️‍️

It’s one of the famous restaurants in the GTA area, but I wouldn’t say I liked the place. All the food items I tried were a bit sweet in taste. If you like a bit spicy Indian food than this place is not for you. Also, their service is too slow, and sometimes they speak very rudely. They cannot manage multiple orders together, and after some time, you will see everyone running here and there. They don't care about your time and make you wait for every single order.

I wish i could give less than one. I was told that it will take 20-25mins. I ended up staying over one hour and the attitude of the workers there was so rude. Kept ignoring us.

They are so focused on the name

Very bad service. Had to wait 50 minutes just to get 10 pieces of samosas. Everyone kept going in front of me and of course the workers wont ask or even help me since I'm Chinese, I bet.

Missing Indian sweet taste in Canada. Rush to this amazing place, believe me they have all sweets you can think of to satisfy our Indian sweet buds:)

Since last 10 mins im on hold when i asked managment about my order tht why it was not complete as I checked it at my home
I asked lady on call if i can talk to manager she put me on hold n didnt let reach to upper managment … plz check if u guys dont know

Worst place you could ever go to. Ordered a vegetarian biriyani from here today. No proper flavors and vegetables in the biriyani! I could get whole spices like pepper and elaichi for every spoon of it. Got embarrassed in front of my guests for ordering this!

I don’t literally like posting negative reviews online but it was my birthday and the experience was so unsatisfactory, first of all the cutlery wasn’t clean at all and then food was second rate. We ordered 3 to 4 dishes expecting at least they would have something good, unfortunately we didn’t like anything……………1 star is just for the ladies those who were serving us….

Unorganized, mismanaged, Arrogant and irresponsible staff, we have been going there for 25 years, Sorry but we are not ever going back again

The lady taking our orders was so kind. Explained all the dishes and took her time to help us. Really great food, we got the aloo Paratha and fish curry and carrot halwa. So delicious!

The samosas are sooo good! I go often for their samosas.

The reason I'm giving three stars is because of their service. Their store layout is very confusing. If you order ahead you are told to wait in line, there is a separate line for people who are ordering in person. However, it is never clear as to who is going to pay first. People who come after you are able to pay and go, there is no tracking. There is only one counter to pay.

They need a better service with their line up, as it's hard to navigate.

I had to wait 15 minutes to pick up phone order. Phone orders are meant to be grab and go.
And the quantity wasn't worth for the price I paid.

Everything was really good and all of my friends really enjoyed the food. Awesome food with great quality and really great staff

I rarely post negative reviews but this is just some low level restaurant. Had a freakin spider in my sauce. When I called for it girl who answered the phone had a attitude like it’s not their problem.

Tried their almost all the sweets. It tastes really good and fresh. Though its always busy and the service is just too slow.

If i can give them 0 star I will definitely do that, they are worst than everything, I ordered paneer lababadar and they served me chicken and I am a pure vegetarian, they hurt me alot, I can’t eat meat, and I ate that, It was a big thing for me, they didn’t understand the values of people who trust on them for food, I highly recommend to not go there, I waited for 30 minutes for food and at the end they served me wrong, when I asked the server to talk with there manager the girl said we can’t do anything. Really disappointed

Really disappointed after today’s visit. Tasteless food except sweets. If these guys claim that they serve Indian cuisine, their chef should first learn how to cook.

Worst customer service ever. Ordered paneer tikka masala and they put chicken with paneer in it. Really unethical behaviour and 0 understanding of food allergies, cultural and religious values. Even after doing this blunder they did not give any refund. The person eating was allergic to chicken and they have no understanding of that. Worst experience ever. Do not buy from here if you are pure vegetarian.

I drive 30+ min one way just to get samosas here. By far the best I've had and the price is so good. I usually get enough to last a few days!

If you are vegetarian don't go to them, they can give you chicken instead of paneer, they hurt your religious values, bad service and management,

This restaurant has delicious dishes along with fresh sweets. I always been there while I am in Etobicoke. It may be recommended location whether found in Etobicoke

Not bad considering the lock down. Fridges are stocked and clean. Great choice of products at very reasonable price. What I had purchased was tasty, visually pleasing with reasonably good workmanship. Staff was pelite and attentive. Will go back.

Service is fast and food is also delicious. More likely for indian taste buds. Only thing is that samosas served here could be more fresh and cooked on frequent basis. Try to improve the oil quality use to fry samosas as the bad oil taste dominates sometimes which lowers the real taste and flavor of samosas.

Sweet mahal is really a great place for authentic Indian and Indian styled Chinese food all food and sweets are really awesome made and taste delicious but just one thing that sucks is long waiting time for your food

Worst kind of service. Just bought food and the lady at front was rude and weird.
They gave me food without charging and I told them about the payment and instead of being thanked she blamed me that why you have not payed, its like my fault that they have given food without charging.
The most illiterate staff I have ever seen.

Really nice ambience. Food was tasty. Covid regulations in place. Place is popular. Prices are very reasonable.

I would say Very bad and rude service. They don't care about customer health and their respect even after living in Canada. We went there for Samosas and they gave us rotten one. When I asked them to give us something else in exchange of Samosas, they refused to do so. They play with customer's health.

I ordered 3 channa samosas and they were not fresh. I vomited after eating there food and other people were also in same condition.

Pathetic coustomer service. Girls at the front and in the dine in were full of attitude n rude face no smile no thanks no please. Please take some actions asap because it was our first day in that restaurant and we were happy to see the interior n everything but the service was nothing.if i had an option to give 0 star then definitely i could.

Worst service from all of the town. Even a small business restaurant has good service and they know how to deal with customers but the girls in this restaurant were totally irritated.
They dont know the ABC of service and about the food industry.totally upset.even i cannot sleep properly bcz i m getting that bad service in my dreams.

Friendly staff. A little confusing about where to wait. Smells really good. Ordered the butter chicken. Delicious!

For the price compared to other similar style Indian restaurants, it is worth it as the food os better.

Worst Experience ever. Ordered Take out, waited for unbelievable 40mins. The food choices were actually outside, but the naans have to come from the back kitchen. They kept chatting out behind the counter, didn't tell about my order for the people working in the back kitchen, and to top it all laugh - they started laughing amongst themselves because they were questioned by another customer who was either equally or more frustrated than me.

I would never recommend this place to anyone again! So not right.

I was extremely disappointed today. I heard the advertisement of Sweet mahal often on radio, so I went with a colleague for lunch. We ordered Chicken curry dish and naans, the chicken dish had 2 hair strands in it. We sent it back. They had it replaced however it took a long time. More than anything, we were disgusted at the fact that the owner of the restaurant was shouting at 2 waitresses and was reprimanding them in presence of all the visitors at a busy lunch time on Friday afternoon. We even looked at him twice but he continued reprimanding the waitress. It seemed that he was trying to discipline her but REALLY? In this way? His tone was way too offensive and he was LOUD. The girls were crying. I would never go to a place where women are disrespected. DISGUSTED at this experience!

Bad customer service. You can never get to sit in the dining hall if you come after 9. The staff is rude they don’t behave properly with you. This was my second visit and they still behaved the same as before. Worst possible service. Will never visit them again.

Food was delicious. But the serving time is too long. Staff was not listen to us. There was one girl she made bad face expressions when we call her. Bad experience.

The staff at the front desk. Especially the lady named gagan was really rude on my first visit at the place. She didn’t even care to offer a dine in place and were not helpful in any way to direct us to the right way and said go look for somebody. The food and the serving staff was really good but i wish she has served us in a way that she had an appreciation from the customers. The attitudinal behaviour really upset me

Very poor management.its the duty of manager that during peak times she should be on the floor handling the crowd and orders.but she is standing still at cash registers just counting money.at first they made us wait 15 minutes just to get seated then after seating no body came to take order.we called them twice no response from the girls who were serving nearby tables.when we went back to their manager then she send someone who didnt even appologized for being late.we always choose this restaurant due to its great food and ambience but this time highly disappointed

Worst experience, as the restaurant was open and still they didn’t allow us to have dinning but as one family came there.they allowed them to dine.

Food is nice too much staff, but they don't know how to manage, long time waiting at cashier and also on the table. Manager or Owner of restaurant must be pay attention on this thing how to mange all staff and make service fast.

Pickup between 6pm-10pm. Waited over 30 mins to grab our food. Customer service is trash but the food was good.

They have very delicious food. I really like Malai Kofta and Tandoori Roti. They have thali for $8. I wish if it's less price but food is good so it's fine. They have some Non veg food.

Worst resturant in toronto. Soo noisy and loud music. We were waiting in line and people just come from behind and have seat and not only that they get food first. Had seen another family with pregnant lady and still they were kept standing and random people just walk in and go and.

It was open but still denied for services, worst place ever. A family that came after me was welcomed but when I went in they said it’s closed. I suggest people to never pay a visit here. So ‘vahiyat’. Sweet mahal I hate you guys
