Delivery order arrived without the festive order complete no chocolates as promised instead substitute of limp peice of pie that will be thrown out, and one when the order was for two people. Also was delivered 45 minutes after the original delivery time given. Was cold and cost over 58.00 with service fee etc. Terrible will not do again.

Had a lovely time at this location! The service in particular was very good- our server, Anastasiia (hopefully I got the spelling correct!) was very kind and explained the details of the menu very well. Overall an enjoyable experience!

Extremely aggresive approach of older woman in the glasses in mobile order area, asked for her name, she said to F off, asked fir supervisor and she said she is not gonna call a person and to get lost, i am shocked

I went here for Thanksgiving dinner with my boyfriend and had a fantastic dinner with him. Our server Flora was the kindest lady I’ve ever had the joy to meet. Amazing place, definitely coming back just for the customer service!

The food was delicious and very well prepared. Our drinks were always full never empty thanks to the amazing servers. Overall it was a great night my family and I will be back again for seconds.

From the moment I sat down, Flora greeted me with a warm and friendly smile, instantly making me feel welcomed and comfortable. She took the time to explain the menu options and even recommended some of her personal favorites, which I greatly appreciated.

We ordered two Caesar salads, perigees and chicken rolls. It was terrible. The lettuce was old, the peroxide were mush and the chicken was dry. I was very disappointed. It was nothing like eating in the restaurant. I mentioned it to other people and they told me Swiss Chalet has gone downhill. I won’t order from there anymore.

One female waitress (mature, heavy set) did not even want to bring us water and the whole experience was terrible. She was very condescending with a lot of attitude. She made the whole dining experience unbearable. I won’t be back. I used to love this place and the other staff are lovely but this woman was absolutely toxic.

Horrible service, especially when you get the slow old ladies as servers. Waited 10 minutes to get a seat, not the first time btw, and then she barked at me to sit in some corner seat. Then she barked at me to hang up my coat. I simply left as she grumbled under her badly dyed hair.

I was given a gift card from a family member for swiss chalet. When I arrived at Swiss chalet I couldn’t decide what to get, so I made the cashier aware that it was my first time here. This lovely lady with the most welcoming smile by the name of Martina walked me through the menu and asked me what my preferences were, she even helped me order in a way that was inexpensive and gave me the opportunity to try a different meal the next time I visit. I ordered the fish and chips with sweet potato fries. The fish was cooked very well and the sweet potato sauce really complimented the fries. The customer service was amazing and the food was delicious. I will definitely be dining in next time.

Celebrated my birthday there and Margaret was exceptional. She made me feel so special and the food was incredible. Such a pleasant experience.

I actually don’t think Swiss chalet generally deserves 4 stars. But I have a long history with this specific location (mainly good) and the value is hard to beat.

One of my favorite locations of Swiss Chalet: thoughtful and efficient staff, great food, and a cozy atmosphere. I would highly recommend Swiss Chalet on the Kingsway!

Very disappointed. Salad came with old/bad lettuce. Never received some of the side dishes. Drinks came at the end of the meal. Wrong orders came in to the table twice.

Guys do not waste your time and your money and your nervs dealing with those people inside, they are just terrible specialy those whos trying to accommodate and dealig with orders.
If you order the food u will wait over 2h, those guys dosent want to work inside, just going around.

Very sad. I hadnt eaten all day and thought I deserved a treat. My favorite thing is the festive dinner from Swiss Chalet and i got none during thanksgiving. I drove to this location after finishing my 12 hour work shift and pre ordered the festive dinner so i could pick it up and bring home to enjoy. I got home and there was no stuffing or cranberry sauce the fries were mediocre and safe to say i wont be ordering from here for a while

Worst customer service ever. Would never come here again. I was waiting at the counter for almost 15 minutes, no one came to me. One lady was totally rude.

We placed our order online at 5: 53 pm, we're provided with an estimated delivery time of 6: 43 pm. Food did not arrive until after 7: 30 pm. Tired to call the restaurant directly, but there was no answer. Call their customer service line and all we were told was that they could not guarantee delivery times. By the time the food arrived, it was cold. Completely unsatisfactory experience. Too unreliable to order from here again.

Atrocious, sloppy, careless service. AVOID IF YOU CAN and go somewhere that actually respects your time and money. Placed a pickup order for two entrees, an appetizer, and a side of coleslaw. Upon opening the bag, sad to discover that the coleslaw was missing, condiments (sour cream and butter) as requested on the online order form were missing, horseradish sauce for the roast beef was missing, and the steamed veggies LITERALLY raw. Tried to call the restaurant multiple times, but no answer. When someone finally picked up, I informed them of my concerns and they asked me to please hold, and I agreed, but after 10 minutes of being on hold they disconnected my call. We decided to not eat and just return the food, which we did the next day when we were in the area. Once at the restaurant the next day, staff explained that the manager was away for several days but agreed to refund my money when I gave them the uneaten takeout, but no apology, no offer of compensation for wasting my time and ruining our dinner plans the night prior.

The worst restaurant I’ve ever been to with the worst unprofessional staff I’ve ever encountered. The staff doesn’t even know how to talk with customers and they keep humiliating senior citizens. Don’t know how it’s still running, will get closed for sure.

Everything was great. Only thing that we found Inappropriate was our server Flora was wearing plastic gloves throughout the whole time she was serving us. She was pick up dirt stuff off the tables than serving us our food and drinks with them. As a server you should not be wearing gloves & washing your hands regularly. I’ve been coming to this location as far back as a child. I called to Address this matter but no one answers the phone.

Never walked away from a restaraunt before after being sitted. Me and my boyfriend were waiting for half an hour. While people that just got their table were being serve. Im extremely dessapointed. I was heart broken.

Flora is absolutely wonderful! My stepson passed away and our family was celebrating after the funeral. 12 of us showed up around 4pm on Thursday August 16th. Flora was gracious, understanding, a pleasure to talk too and an excellent waitress who cares very much! Flora you made our day a little less painful. Thank you from our hearts

I was hoping to resolve this issue with the restaurant directly, but no one answers the phone no matter how many times you call. Customer service also failed to connect with them after several attempts. I ordered for delivery. My order was missing french fries and a slice of pie. The receipt showed that whomever packed the order did not mark fries off to show they were put into bag. Pies were crossed off but only received one. I also ordered the new Nashville Hot Chicken Tenders Meal. The tenders are supposed to have a glaze on them. I received dried up tenders sitting on a soggy piece of white bread with a spoonful of coleslaw on top. The entire order arrived cold and it was not very appetizing. I had hoped to get issue resolved the same night so we could have had a nice meal, but as mentioned, it’s impossible to get someone to answer the phone.

Worst service ever. No staff. They only had one person serving all the tables. Staff was angry and blantly telling customers that they were angry. Waited an hour for our bill.

Came hot and was quite delicious, but paying for a combo when you just want a chicken sammy is kinda crazy. Only 1 dollar less for sandwich only kind of traps you into ordering far more food than you want. That being said it is hot and delicious.

Ordered pickup. Went home. They forgot the chicken in my rib and chicken combo. Rest of meal was fine. Like the paper packaging.

Called customer service. They dropped my call when trying to transfer me to the store. I called the store for a partial refund on missing food, and they wanted to remake the meal instead. Which doesn't make sense since I am already home and family is already eating.

I was probably more annoyed that they told me it was such a small dollar amount for a refund. Really not the thing to say, since if it was that trivial for you, then refunding me back the amount should be really easy. More training is needed for when the staff screws up and how to respond.

We had lunch here yesterday in the dining room with another couple.
Flora was our server and she was most delightful and charming! She was the best!
The food was perfect! It came to us hot and just as ordered.

Sure the food tasted delicious but that's cause I had to scrape all of the ingredients that I didn't ask for. Oh and the service, you really want me to talk about the SERVICE, I had walked tapped the bell, sure someone came for service, 5 MINUTES LATER! Then I had ordered told her what food I wanted, then she cam back in 3,3x5=15 YUP THATS RIGHT I DIDNT GET MY FOOD UNTIL 15 MINUTES AFTER I ORDERED

If you like to redeem your scene points, it may be best to stay away from this location. On 2 different occasions, I had the Frontline staff mess up the payment. Ended up spending a lot of time, repeating the card number over and over again and the payment not going through. On top of it they also messed up the order. Both times. One time they did not provide the extra sides I ordered and the last time (the last ever at this location), the order came with a very small quantity of potato fries and soggy sweet potato fries. If you have been to Swiss Chalet, you know they load up on the fries. Maybe they don't particulay like anyone redeeming scene points.

They have the best food, freshly made, fast and good service. I would love to come back soon.

Had an amazing experience at this location, service was quick and our waiter paid close attention to our table, gave us what he needed without us having to ask him. The chicken here is super juicy and tastes fresh, definitely recommend this location.

Washrooms are disgusting at this place. Overall lack of basic hygiene, tables and other surfaces had a thick layer of dirt. Service was quite slow. Food is ok tho.

Service was remarkable. The chicken was fresh and juicy, the fries were crispy and the buns were warm. You can't go wrong with a Canadian staple like Swiss Chalet. Their chalet sauce is the same as it's been for years - delicious.

My extended family get together just about every Sunday and order Swiss Chalet, so I have a lot of experience with the franchise. Normally we go to St. Clair and Keele location, or even Shorncliffe. This time we went to Bloor West near Prince Edward and won't be back. Went to pickup an order that should have more than been ready for me. Total lack of organization at the pickup area. Employees had no idea what was going on, and nobody was taking control of the crowd of people standing there waiting for food. I waited almost 25 minutes in the waiting area before having to say something about the status of my order. Anyway, you get the point. The most disorganized food pickup situation of my life! Hope they take some feedback and try to improve the situation.

Had take out this afternoon. Ordered the Crispy chicken sandwich with fries. What a joke! The sandwich had less than a teaspoon of slaw on it - chicken was so dry as though it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours and fries were dry and pale. Honestly for $15 bucks I had to throw it out! This location has gone so downhill in the past year. Not the first disappointing order. Had another one 6 months ago. Never again!

By far my favorite Swiss location! Amazing friendly staff with the tastiest chicken! I truly love a friendly welcoming environment. If you are looking for great service, this is the location for you! Once again after getting home I have the fries to be greasy and cold. This is the third time in the last 2 months. Don’t bother calling them, they don’t answer the phone. I only live 5 minutes away so the fries shouldn’t be cold. I am going to send this to head office. Maybe they care about quality control

When they T H R O W your order at you, making the shrimp explode inside the bag, you know this location is a winner.

There were like 20 people, all of them were waiting for there food. Been waiting for long time. Worst service ever. In COVID-19 they are doing this to customers.

Everytime I order from them it takes the maximum delivery time. The food arrives cold, it is way oversalted - really tastes bad. The fries are cold and overcooked (dried up into little twists), and oversalted. Today we didn't get the salad but did get the extra chalet dressing. The sauce flipped over, leaked and ruined the bun.
Last time, I swear this time is the last time I order from them.

The fries are always tastey. Popular place in the neighborhood & the staff are quite pleasant

It was great just to select an all time favorite restaurant. Even though I'm vegetarian I was able to find enough to eat. Our server was very helpful and kind.

So we popped in here for a bite just before closing. There aren't a lot of options at 10pm in that neighbourhood.

I ordered a hot chicken sandwich - basically an open-faced sandwich with a pile of dark meat on a slice of bread and lathered with gravy. Mashed potatoes on the side. It's actually not bad. I'd order it again.

Their coconut cream pie is pretty good too.

Our service was very poor. The food was bad. My food was cold and dry. Tasting as a old chicken

Enjoyed a really nice meal with film crew at Swiss Chalet. It was a chilly evening, and a fairly tired film crew of about 10 or 11 people we're all seated together at the same large table.

The server had his hands full getting that many people's orders right. He was incredibly pleasant, polite, helpful, and efficient in taking all of our orders. Our drink order arrived quickly and made the relatively short wait for our meals go by.

The food all came all together within a very reasonable amount of time - especially since we were a large group. To expedite so many plates simultaneously puts both the servers and the kitchen staff to the test to make it all flow smoothly and with precision. Another waiter helped to deliver all the meals with accuracy and minimal confusion.

I had the Roast Beef. It was a nice big serving of thinly-sliced roast with mushrooms. I had a Caesar Salad, but I was astounded by the wide variety of choices they had in optional side dishes.

We were on the run to get back to shooting, so I missed the chance to try something from the extensive and delicious-looking dessert menu. Next time.

Of all the Swiss chalets I like the one on Bloor and Royal York that is why I gave it a five-star. The portions are good and the food always comes out hot. They seem to be on the ball. I've had Swiss Chalet at other locations and I was not impressed, the food is lukewarm at best with measly portions. I guess it depends on your management in the location. I would also like to add, the tables are always spotless here, good servers and nice atmosphere.
