We celebrated my daughter's 9th birthday at this location. Have to say hands down out of all the Swiss Chalet locations, this one has the BEST customer service. Our server Valarie, went out of her way to assure we were all satisfied, and the birthday girl was enjoying her experience. Very paient, helpful and accommodating. Also our hostist Kitty, was cheerful, kind and all smiles. Would definitely recommend this location as we will be returning ourselves.

We had a great experience at Swiss Chalet tonight! Valerie was our server and she was very attentive and kind. She frequently came to check on us and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our meals.:)

It was very busy tonight. We had to wait a few minutes to be greeted. They had a shortage of dark meat, so I got free upgrade from double leg dinner to half a chicken. Service was slower, but still friendly.

We had a delicious lunch today and Valerie was our lovely server. Her hospitality made us feel welcome and taken care of. Thank you for the great food and your hospitality Valerie! Will see you soon again! Cheers!

After a day of shopping with my mom it was we decided to stop by Swiss Chalet. Our server Kitty provided us with excellent service. My mom had a chicken noodle soup to start the soup was very delicious nice and meaty. My mom then choose the chicken Caesar salad and I had the quarter chicken. Everything was great and tasty. The atmosphere is very welcoming and pleasant, thanks for a great dining experience Kitty.

Excellent service from our server Valerie. Swiss Chalet never disappoint, food and serve was excellent as usually. This is my local Swiss Chalet.

I come here often for a simple dinner. I always have a pleasant experience with the worker Kitty, she deserves a 5 star. She is so attentive to all my needs. The chicken here for quarter chicken dark meat could be larger, but I suppose that is something that cannot be changed as the chickens are roasted whole in the restaurant and only come a certain size. The ribs are surprisingly good here. Parmesan fries are really tasty, but not meant for the calorie counter. The wings are alright, though I would rather them be roaster wings to give me that full mouthful of meat.

Food is pretty consistent and good at this location. Swiss Chalet is where I grew up eating at, so it's nice to dine in once in a while for the nostalgia. Prices are reasonable and I like that they offer limited time specials which are always worth a try. Servers are efficient and know the menu well. Never disappointed in the service at this location. Overall, it is nice to come here when I am craving something hearty but not too heavy - Chicken noodle soup is great!

Sherry is a an attentive server, the chicken was very good, l am satisfied with my visit today, definitely will come back.

Food is what it is but their central ordering for Markham location is awful. Charged twice but order only completed after the second call. Waiting……

The worst customer servcie i had to call someone so they could give me a seat and while going they ask me for customer service tip while they have bad customer service never coming here again

It's been a long time since we visited because we seem to have mediocre experiences here. They must be under-staffed because I would expect a hostess to be scheduled on a regular Friday night during peak dinner service time (there wasn't one even on Black Friday when people are out and everything is packed). We waited several minutes for the poor servers to seat us. Our server took our order reasonably quickly considering she had many tables. The food came without much wait and tasted good (white meat is slightly dry). My order was incorrect, but it was a minor issue of making my food with white instead of dark meat; I wasn't able to change it though because the server did not return for a quality check. My husband had to drink my water since nobody came to refill his drink. I think if they had more staff, people would have better experiences.

Im surprised they’re still in business. Worst food ive ever paid for. Oily and Soggy fries, cold broken down bun, fried chicken that tasted worse than frozen food, just ate as much as my body would let me and left in a hurry after paying for THAT meal. Gloomy atmosphere especially since it was mainly empty, the staff was also rushing things for some reason (mostly empty restaurant). Had to go to another restaurant afterwards to fix my tastebuds.

The worst waitress i ever see. We ordered a 56 oz beer. The waitress bring a 18 oz beer. When she dropped down the beer, she walked away.we find out the size is not right.we told her she just said "i going to charge you 12 oz, ok? I am really.busy are you ready your order".

They got my order wrong, I ordered the Nashville chicken tenders instead I got chicken wings, now i have to waste 30 mins to go back to the store to get a refund, and the workers had no idea what there doing smh

I've regularly gotten takeout or dined in at this location with my family for roughly the last 10 years or so. I've gone back time and time again because the staff here is great. However, there have been many times where I have gotten take out with rotten or old-looking lettuce in salads, chicken from the family pack with what looked like feathers still intact on the wings, or on several occasions, even items that i had ordered and paid for like chicken fingers or perogies just completely missing from the bag. This afternoon, I ordered a family pack with four sides, two of the sides were completely fine, but the cesar salad that i ordered was half of the portion that it normally was and almost pathetically, the mashed potatoes, which are normally around three quarters of the container, was literally just one tiny little scoop of mashed potatoes. For the price that I paid for my meal today, and the fact that I have had countless issues repeatedly with this location; @markham swiss chalet, please do better because this service has consistently been lower than the bare minimum a restaurant should perform at.

Absolutely horrible experience!
The staff have no clue what they are doing. I have never been spoken to like this in my entire life. Cashier “Jason” should really learn some hospitality manners. Just awful! I will definitely complain higher up.
