Swiss Chalet

I ordered their Festive Special, white meat, green beans instead of fries, and Clamato juice instead of sugary pop to be a bit healthy. Good value.

Over all rating would normally be higher however ratings are based on an individual experience. Tried to order a kids meal at the 700 University location for takeout and was told no because I didn't bring a child with me. In an area full of hospitals they wouldn't let me order a kids meal at the counter. Had to use the Swiss Chalet app. If I had not done that would have waisted twice as much money. Very disappointed with this location right now. Side note the child's burger I ordered was burnt.

By far, one of the most, if not THE most beautiful, outdoor patios I've ever seen in Toronto. I'm beyond shocked that a Swiss Chalet location, of all places, would have such a nice place for summertime.

However, what's keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the bad service. It was extremely slow, and our server was pretty unfriendly. Another one of the on duty servers whom we asked for napkins from was extremely rude and unpleasant. So I think they need some fresh talent to take over.

Decent food, if overpriced. Unfortunately, my order took more than twice as long as advertised, and the food arrived cold. Needless to say, delivery partners are the restaurant's responsibility.

This is the best Swiss Chalet location anywhere. I have eaten at this location many times and each visit is consistently excellent! The wait staff are fast, efficient and friendly which, to my mind, reflects on great management. The food is always amply served and always hot! Thanks and keep up the good work. You are all a credit to the Swiss Chalet brand!

Jory is absolutely incredible. He went above and beyond for us making our dinner so special. He does this every time we come in. Just wanted to say thank you for all you do. You are a treasure.

Had a lovely dinner as part of our high school year-end trip to Toronto. Jory served us with patience and a friendly smile throughout, and accommodated our larger group. He took time to show care to each of the students and was an overall pleasure to have as our server. Thank you for making our evening memorable!

My mother and I went to have a late lunch at this location after visiting my dad in the hospital.
Our server was an absolute delight!

Very friendly polite and a good dance I have to say we had a good laugh because she started dancing and a man walked in and was very surprised and confused to see her dancing lol she explained to him she was dancing with us ladies hilarious

The food was really good thank you so much the service was amazing. I hope her weekend plans are fantastic.

Brenda is the best! She always makes our drinks the way it’s supposed to be made:) She put a pickle in my friend’s Caesar and it just made her day.

Food is good as always. They were not busy and we sat on the patio and thw waitress was not responsive. She also couldn't figure out how to split the bill. Also warning when you eat at the University ave location that the pigeons are very agressive.

Food was good as it consistently is. Staff is friendly. But this location is filthy dirty. I don’t think the tile floor has seen a mop in years.

Food was great, service however was pretty abysmal.i’ve seen some reviews about nicer servers but i guess i was just unlucky today.my server wanted me gone from the minute i got here.when i sat down she immediately started taking my order, even though i hadn’t gotten a chance to look at the menu.i asked for a few more minutes to read through it and she came back no less than a minute later.i ordered and she didn’t come back to me until i was almost done the meal.another lovely server (who’s name i think is dion or dionne) actually came to check on me and made sure that i had all i needed.as i was finishing up my original server came back to my table and started wiping it up as i was eating.i was literally still chewing and she was taking away my plates which STILL HAD FOOD mumbling about how she needs to clean the table.like dawg i’m still eating.the cherry on top was when she brought the bill before i asked for it, withholding me from the opportunity to order desert/something to go.as i paid she literally bent right over to check that if was tipping her or not.like yes i’m going to tip you but i promise you don’t need to breathe down my neck to make sure…i enjoyed the food, and i’m sure the other servers here are much nicer.i was just unlucky today.in terms of atmosphere, it was loud and generally not relaxing.i’ve been to better swiss chalet locations, but at least the food was good. 5/5 for the food. 0/5 for the service. 2/5 for the atmosphere.would not come again unless i’m ordering takeout.

Jory was our server and was legit INCREDIBLE. He was so sweet and funny and completely made the experience. My girlfriend has come here with her family since she was a kid and I had never been and he pulled all the stops to make it like her childhood experience. It made it so funny and enjoyable and we really enjoyed it. Food was also good, but it was about the service for me!

Jory was so great! He was timely, very kind and gave us great customer service. We all had a busy and tiring day at work and it really brightened our spirits to have Jory grab our orders swiftly.

The food was up to the usual standards of Swiss Chalet. We were disappointed at the absence of Caesar Salad from the menu, but our server Jory was excellent and went out of his way to make our meal enjoyable.

The food was what you expect from Swiss Chalet BUT Our server Jory was fantastic. Very friendly, very polite, patient and unintrusive. The food was four-stars, Jory was six-stars.

Always have such a wonderful experience at this location. Jory was amazing and provided the best customer service!

This Swiss Chalet was a good location. It’s on University just south of College street.

The places interior has seen better days but the food was very good. Especially the hot beef sandwich.

The waiter was super friendly. Knew the right balance between privacy and attentiveness.

Food came out quick and all in all would recommend.
