Good food so/ so service and it wasn't that busy. Typical food place (andvthey still expect a tip pffttt)

My mother, sister and I came to this location for dinner, and was served by Kristine. All three of us agreed that Kristine is one of the best severs we’ve come across. She was super attentive (and patient with all my cards/discounts haha), friendly, and just a delight to chat with before and after our meal. If we were able to request service (like you do at hairdressers) I would request Kristine every time!

We ordered delivery at 5PM. We had to call twice for ETA and every time we called they said it was our for delivery (we live 3 minutes away). Our food didn’t come until 645PM. Are kids were very hungry and cranky at this point. Food was cold, only thing that was hot was the chalet sauce. The stuffing and cranberry sauce was also missing for each meal.

We are usually regular customers and just won’t be ordering anymore as this restaurant doesn’t respect their customers or their hard earned money being spent on their food.

Terrible service last night. There were 4 of us at our table, and it took forever for someone to come to the table, we all ordered our means and drinks right away. Our drinks came with no ice, and the server said there was no ice, yet we saw other tables with ice in their glasses. We asked a different server for ice, and she brought fresh drinks with ice. Our server nerve returned to our table until we asked for the bill. It took forever to even get butter brought to us. I ordered the festive Thanksgiving dinner, never received my pie our a Lindt chocolate with my meal, the waiter took forever to bring our bills. I am very disappointed in the whole experience, I will never be back at this location (sad) cause my son had a bad experience last time he was at this location, too.

Receipt check number. 1074. TBL 32/1. We were a family of 14 who made reservations and our server was Anusha. I understand it was busy, we waited patiently, 40 minutes after our order, Anusha comes out and says " we ran out of dark meat and we'll gladly give you white meat for no extra cost". After hearing this, I requested for a manager, I said to our server Anusha, we waited 40 minutes, and now you are coming to let us know you ran out of dark meat? ". Anusha comes back again and says. "we have the dark meat and it will be ready in 10 minutes ". I don't know what games they are playing. I spoke to Jessica (manager) after we had paid, and were about to leave, I had said to her we didn't get our Lindt chocolates with our orders.she says that the company didn't give us enough for this ongoing special they have been advertising. I was blown away when Jessica said that even pumpkin pies have run out before and they have to get them from Costco to compensate for running out. I explained to Jessica I didn't like being lied to about running out of dark meat. Jessica explained, "we did run out of dark meat, at that time, " which to me sounds like being lied to!

Our server Maria gave us top notch service with big smiles! What a lovely experience and Swiss Chalet is lucky to have such an attentive and friendly lady giving customers excellent service! Thank you Maria!

It wasn't busy especially for a Friday night, but they still seemed to scramble to seat a party of 8, like it's hard to shove 2 or 3 tables together. Couple hiccups on food orders, but nothing more than I'd expect normally. For a larger party the 2 servers that came out did have a handle on it. We enjoy going here.

Was ok but nothing special. Had to ask for butter for my dinner roll, glass of water with my meal and wait staff to remove my dirty dishes after we were finished then had to ask for the bill so we could leave. Waitress was in such a hurry we felt uncomfortable, there was no repore and place was almost empty so don't understand why she was in such a rush. As a result she got a smaller tip.

Our server, Marlene was very friendly and attentive. She went out of her way to make the visit an enjoyable one. The restaurant was clean and comfortable and the food was good. Overall it was a great visit.

Dora was our waitress tonight, she was fun to talk to and really nice attitude, a great addition to Swiss chalet.
Food was awesome as always, and a great atmosphere.

Took friends out for dinner our server (Keri L) was amazing, couldn't ask for better service.

Worst Swiss Chalet in the city, ive had 2 major issues. The first was two meals that were horrible, it looks like someone vomited in the shrimp and tasted like it to. The Chicken was burned and they forgot the chalet sauce and butter. The second issue was the fact that i when't to make an order online, had it all set and when't to check out but an error occured saying it couldn't take the card i was using. We called the resturant and they said that we could just come in and pay so we did. We were than greeted to two 150 dollar transactions back to back. One was from the website witch said they didnt take the card and the other was from instore. One of the workers had noticed this and marked one down as a tip, as if i'd tip 150 dollars. Dealing with the manager was a pain, he took forever to respond everytime we would call and email. He also wasnt very compliant and made us jump through hoops to even get a refund, when he finnaly gave in to the fact that it was a mistake on there part, instead of apoligizing for the mistake he told us that he had to take it from his workers tips so it would take awhile, trying to make us feel bad. He then told us that he would call when it was to be delivered and instead of calling he sent some random worker to drop it off on a day when no one was home and than told us we had to come to the swiss chalet to pick it up. We complained to head office because of this.

I will never visit this restaurant again. I was quoted a pick up time of 6: 19 PM I got my order at 7: 03 PM everyone that came in and ordered walked out before me and I had ordered online what a joke never again. Oh, and the manager offered me a piece of pie for my inconvenience, what a joke!

I rarely write bad reviews, as I genuinely try to understand the staffs struggles. But boy was the ball dropped here. Our waitress was virtually non-existent and when she was, was rather short and not hospitable. Sauce came out 20 minutes after most the food came to table. The alcoholic drink was made virgin. When the Manager was involved by one of my party members, he was prompt but uninterested in what our complaint was about.
Offered complimentary desert and still charged full price.

Rather difficult outting. Honestly, go across the street to East Side Mario's, or for better chicken, Popeyes next door.

Food quality very poor, chicken cold on delivery and ribs were cold and tough and under cooked. Recomend getting chicken and ribs at grocery store and cooking yourself extremely poor quality and over priced.

Came in for lunch last week and the food was excellent and served quickly. My server Kristine was just awesome. Very kind and attentive. Will definitely be back if I'm in the area. Thank you! Would recommend.

Food was very good and came fast! Our server Marlene was honestly the best. She checked on us to make sure we were enjoying our dinner and dessert and she made sure to give us refills as soon as our glasses were empty. I'm used to servers being very nonchalant but Marlene truly cared about us and her job. Very positive experience.

I went there for a family event. Swiss chalet did a great job. Tables were all set up for us when we arrived. Immediately offered coffee, etc, served platters of salad, chicken, fries. Seconds came without having to ask. Our servers were very friendly and eager to please.

My wife and I have become somewhat regulars at this location. The food is always consistently good and we always know exactly the quality we can expect. All the staff are friendly and courteous. MARIA has for the most part become our regular go to server. MARIA is always smiling, laughing and truly enjoying her time with her customers. It’s now to the point when deciding where to grab a bite, we just say let’s go see MARIA. She’s more like family than anything to us now.

Food at this Swiss Chalet is terrible
. Food is over cooked dry. Worst Swiss Calet location I ever ate at. Tastes like food was cooked the day before. Avoid this location. Been there 3 times. Garbage!

We dined here tonight for my aunt's birthday. In our little party of 4, the dinner was excellent. My niece enjoyed her burger with mashed potatoes. The food was nice and hot. Kristine was our server and she made our experience wonderful. She shared in our birthday celebration and made sure we were well taken care of. Great job! Looking forward to our next visit

Everytime we place an order for pickup from this location there is always something missing when we get home. Sometimes it's no gravy for mashed potatoes or sandwiches. Other times no bread or salad dressing. I know our order is a large order but why is it never complete? !?

I was at swiss chalet yesterday (April 21) for dinner with my child and our server was wonderful. Very attentive and fast service. Food was great and hot as always. Thanks Maria R 32 at queenston road

Today I went to this Swiss Chalet location for lunch with my Dad, and it is no exaggeration when I say the experience we had today was the best we have had in ANY restaurant in a while! Food was fresh, hot, and delicious! Our server, Kristine, was so bubbly, warm, and attentive, and it was an absolute pleasure to be seated in her section! She is truly a ray of sunshine and strong asset to the staff at this Swiss Chalet. My family refuses to go to our local location (Sarnia), but we will definitely be coming back to this location every time we find ourselves in Hamilton!

Just left Swiss chalet Queenston road and our waitress Kristine was outstanding! So cheerful, efficient and completely welcoming! Hey Chalet! Your staff (especially Kristine) is rocking it! We will be back! By the way, the new fish and chips on the menu is fabulous! So is the Canadian Sundae! Yum!

I been there yesterday. There was couple before us.we know food at swiss chalet is good.we noticed only one staff working.we waited 10mins still no server.
We decided to go to chuck's roadhouse.it was packed with customers.yet we were sitting quickly food is excellent.
