Cafeteria level food cooked well in advance and eventually served. I am certain they give the coldest and oldest meat to take out customers. Would I still eat there? In a pinch, yes. At least they were prompt and friendly.

This place is fantastic when they have enough staff. It can get super busy and then the wait begins. Long wait. So if you're patient, it'll be OK. Staff they have are very friendly.but sometimes you just need more staff. Especially if you booked large groups.

I usually don’t rate restaurants unless they’re good ratings but my experience at this location was less than 1 star. I was a regular client until 2019, not sure if they have new management now but I haven’t stepped foot in that place since. Maybe, if they get a new management and staff I will reconsider. I think it’s only 1 family working there.

Its always great to have dinner here! All the serving crew and the management are amazing! You can't go wrong with Swiss Chalet!

Staff were very friendly and courteous, the space was clean and the location was busy. The person with me ordered a beef meal which looked amazing, I ordered a double leg dinner and one leg was okay but the other leg was completely overcooked and dry. We were in a rush so I ate it without complaining but if I had more time I would have at least pointed it out as it was not good. The rest of the man was okay and the servers were courteous.

Overall I would visit this location again.

Me and my little sister had the pleasure of being served by Peggy. She was so sweet and accommodating, brought our food out quickly and was attentive to detail. Will definitely be returning! Thank you again for a wonderful meal and great service!:)

Please fix your UBER EATS Menu.

There is no choice for white or dark meat on meals. It only displays white meat with an extra charge that you are required to choose.

My wife and I love Swiss Chalet but nothing but problems when ordering from here and what makes it worse are the excuses we get! If anyone ever has "problems" with the app and tracking the drivers location, maybe it's because they're making multiple stops and that's why I think they turn off the tracking. Or else, why would our order be 20mins late when the restaurant is less than 10mins away and before we get critisied for being lazy, my wife's 7 months pregnant and we wanted a date night in. And before I get an auto response, I tried reaching out and nothing was done, just stupid excuses that we're not buying. This location needs to make changes or slash their prices in half.

Extremely rude delivery driver. My husband, friends, and I are never going to order from this location ever again. There is a tall white guy who works at this place who shouldn't be there in the first place. He has no customer service skills and is very rude. He asks customers to tip him and calls them cheap. We called the restaurant a few days back and found out that he is a shipper and manages other drivers there. This is really messed up. He needs to go.

I had the best dining experience yesterday at this Swiss Chalet thanks to our server Leo. She was attentive and helpful & I will definitely choose this location over any other one in Toronto.

I placed an order for delivery and it was taking too long which is understandable, but when after 45 mins I called to check if the ordered left, the lady that answered the phone was very rude, was pretty much yelling and would speak so fast and frantically that I had to ask her to slow down, she was very rude form the beginning until the end, she made the experience so bad that I ended up canceling the order and just cook some nice chicken and fries at home! Much better customer service lol

Awful experience with this location. Forgot items in our order and the chicken was very dry and the sides were gross. Can't get through to them for a refund either because they don't have a store phone #, and they don't even answer the phoneif you do somehow get through. Just terrible. Avoid this location

Edit: don't bother trying to call customer service either, they hung up while we were being transferred. Very disappointing

My wife and I come here on a regular basis and nearly every time it is perfect.

Tonight I want to shout out to the servers and greeters at the door. At about 730pm we were coming in to eat and the group in front of us (mother and 2 late teens) were holding up the line due to being completely belligerent and not knowing the provincial mandates around vaccine proof and ID, which is an alien concept to us all since we have only had about 4 months to get used to it. All the while having no regard for the safety of the people working due to refusing to distance or wear masks.

They were eventually seated (a tough call for the servers I'm sure) nfter a short while the mother was SCREAMING for a server because her food wasn't perfect. Again, rude as hell and just a general nuisance.

The servers were nothing but polite and professional. They should definitely be getting paid more than they do.

Chicken was a little tough. Most places you can just use your fork to scrape it off the bone, because it’s so tender. Not here. Pepsi tasted watered down.

Service was very friendly

Every time I go to pick up my food expressly at this location festival season. They send me always to Dufferin Street. Always. I am closer to the one on Wilson and Keele Street. Improvement of the service should be a little better.

Every single time I order from Swiss Chalet, I have a problem. And no one seems to care.
From wrong items being sent, to late deliverys, to large bones being found in the sandwich.

Every time I call to complain, every one I talk to says how sorry they are and how they understand my frustration.

Customer service representatives lie to the customer drivers lie to the customer. And nobody seems willing to do anything about it.

If there was a lower rating I would have given it. Everyone deserves a second chance, so for 5 years I have given these people chances. Every single order has had some problem with it. Late, wrong food, cold, bones in a sandwich- the choking kind, beware for children please, rude employees. I'm sorry I can't see how anyone would give this location a good rating. The only thing they say is "sorrrry" and everyone knows that's not meant. I can't believe this is how business is conducted.

My dad went in for take out and asked for a double leg dinner with fries, a garden salad and a poutine. Worker named Pearl gave him a double leg dinner with cheese ON the fries ‍️. Thankfully he checked before he left, where he was charged separately for the salad and poutine afterwards. No apologies or actions to make up for time wasted.

Horrible customer service, swiss chalet also has the least user friendly online ordering system I've ever seen. There is very poor level of response to phone orders, it is difficult to get through and the people who pick up haven't been very helpful. I like your food, but you cannot run a business this way, pandemic or no pandemic.

Best food, nice staff, always awesome ambience. They charge reasonable prices and the food quality is awesome. 5 stars.

By far the best Swiss Chalet in the GTA.been coming here for years and Christine and her team are awesome! One small issue and not their fault but Swiss Chalet as a whole.why why why did the lemon meringue pie have to change? For years and years you have had the BEST lemon and pecan pie.just got a lemon slice tonight and it's awful. I'm heartbroken! Lol I mean I'm sure I will get over it but I'm soooooo sad. Other than that awesome location food and service!

Good food as always. Our waiter was awesome and kept checking in on us. She was able to answer all questions and provide anything we needed. It was my mom's birthday, so she brought a cake out and sang "happy birthday" without us asking.

Fresh food, good prices, for family. Parking lot not big, don't park in front of restaurants, very hard to get out of parking spots due to people pulling into parking lot and existing. There is another exit to parking lot behind the bldg, easier to get out and a set of lights if you need to go west.

Parking lot is too small, pre-ordered food took almost 40 minutes, after 30 minutes I was told they ran out of white meat. While leaving, white meat orders were ready

So, we went last night after having issues two weeks ago. Manager said he’d make it right which he did. Now, here’s the issues. Chicken was good, but rolls were hard, fries were under filled and greasy. When I asked them to fill the fries I was told “ we use a scoop”. More like half a scoop. I’m done with this location. Not friendly, and you do not get the bang for your buck! After seeing complaints get responses from Swiss Chalet and I get nothing, should let you know they obviously don’t care!

Driver -of all people called Me complaining originally of No ELEVATOR AND then of parking with a ticket. THIS Driver tried to represent Management of this location AND WOULD NOT- REFUSED give his name. BEWARE of this situation. It's not right!

Just ok. Perogies were dry and hard and the chicken wraps had very little sauce making them dry as well. Service was a slow even though it wasn't busy. Chicken and ribs were ok but not amazing. Price for five people was reasonable.

This branch, Keele and Wilson, is a family-friendly place. Parking space is huge with so many conveniences nearby in the plaza. Inside is huge and many tables and chairs/benches to sit and it's quite a quiet resto. Very nice. I like their barbecued/fried chicken especially the ribs. Their salad is seemingly fresh. And by the way they offer now fish as new menu if you opt for fish which is good since some people do not want to eat meat all the time. It is a place to date with food as well and for family time gathering in a relatively quiet ambiance.

Oh, the service was very good and the server was very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. And it didn't take long for the order to come. And i liked the cheesecake they offered. It was not very sweet, which i preferred. It was just alright. And this was not the first time i went to this location.

The location that i didn't want to go back though is the Swiss Chalet Lawrence and Dufferin location. The guys in the front desk were not very welcoming and most of them are older perhaps the reason they seemed to be grouchy-looking servers. It was back in 2016 and 2017. The service was not that good but the food was good. Never went back. They should employ younger people since they still have energy and not tired like those almost retired workers. No hate for the elderly but if you are already tired just give the chance to the young energetic ones.

Recently, the Festive Special (including cranberry sauce and stuffing) double leg dinner with fresh vegetables, a multigrain dinner roll, side order of seasoned rice, house salad with Chalet dressing, cheesecake with strawberry dressing, lemon meringue pie and five (5) assorted Lindor chocolate truffles were delivered. Everything arrived perfectly. The hot food was in an insulated bag. The cold food was wrapped separately. All the items were delicious and will definitely order again. The price is considered to be very reasonable. The delivery driver was an expedient, excellent, affable woman with a pleasant smile. Thank you for such attention to detail and providing such delectable items.

Well I just ordered from the Keele St location, when I went to pick it up, the girl comes from the back to give it to me and throws it down, and said to the co-worker this is for Ron. When I open to eat it looked like someone just threw it in there. The stuffing covered everything and no utensils or butter for my bread, NOTHING! Just bad vibes from there and the funny thing is I work around the corner and I love Swiss Chalet. But I will never go back to there again that"s for sure. Other than that Merry Christmas.

The cocktail was great. Ordered the smaller rib portion, got 4 ribs. What a joke, hardly any meat at all. Enough for a 5 year old. You get 4 ribs, a small bun, half the plate of salad (my side), and a super small coleslaw. The sauce came late, and not very tasty. No more finger bowls! Don't waste your 15.00$!

The waitress had negative attitude towards me as I used Scene card to redeem my points for the meal. If Swiss Chalet does not welcome Scene card, please stop collaborating with Scene card and let us pay for our meal in the descent way.
The waitress confused me when she took my Scene card away "twice" and came back with 2 papers show my balance difference twice. I thought she redeemed my points twice, double the amount. I could not understand her as she explained so I asked so speak with a Manager to make it clear to me. She was not happy. After speaking with the manager, I was clear and paid the bill. The pin pad machine asked me "would you like to recommend us". I pressed NO because I was not happy with the mistakes with my food and waiting time for the bill earlier. She's obviously starring at the machine whole time so she even challenged me with question "You don't want to recommend us? ! ". And she sarcastically smirked at me. Her attitude was totally unprofessional and can insult to anyone. Doesn't mean she had a bad day, everyone else has to have a bad day too.
No one deserves to be treated that way. Nobody comes for a free meal. I'd rather redeem my points at other places, NOT Swiss Chalet.

I was very displeased I've never had bad things to say about Swiss chalet love the place but this time the service was terrible we waited over an hour to get our food. When they came they brought only the sauce and said they didn't have enough plates so they were washing them then we got everything this is going on an hour and a half.when asking for a second drink they said we have no glasses they are washing them by that time I was ready to leave.we had to wait to pay the bill I couldn't get out of there fast enough.to go for chicken was a 2 and a half hour ordeal

Great location! Parking is free and they have a bar section with big screens or a dining area with booths. Food is good and service is friendly. Would have been 5 stars but on occassion, the food could use a little more cooking.

All the dishes we're very dirty.

It's sad because I used to come here all the time when I was little and my mom when she was a teenager and everything was better and more organized.

Had a great time here! Loved the Tuesday chicken wing special for half off and the apple pie special.

Usual comfort menu but Mother's Day weekend made the wait long and the service slow. Quality is consistent and I will return.

They were out of dark meat, but offered the upgrade to white meat for free. The service was slow- and we weren't checked on enough. Wasnt brought the water I had asked for, could have used a refill but our server never came by. The food was ok otherwise, but sort of dry. Wanted more chalet sauce, but again was not able to get our servers attention. We wanted to order dessert, but after waiting 30 minutes for attention, we asked for a box, and the bill. It took 10 mins for the box, then another 15 mins for the bill, then another 10 mins for the machine to be brought over. I would probably just get to go next time, and pre order online.

Went to dinner tonight 2 appetizer one spinach dip and chips and with chicken spring rolls. The chicken spring rolls had a plastic in it gross. My daughter ordered quarter chicken and ribs with dark meat. What she really received was dry white meat. I had a cheese burger with bacon and cheese it came with swiss and chedder cheese the burger smelled like dirty socks I think that's because swiss doesn't supposed be heated up. That said this the 2 nd time I have at this location and both bad experience.

Many experiences both with delivery and dine in. Our delivery has been top notch. Delivery people have been very polite and very friendly. We even had one so honest that asked if we made a mistake with his tip. He stated it was too much. We told him no it was well deserved. The weather that evening was absolutely horrible.blowing snow and very icy roads. If anything the order arrived earlier than expected. Talk about honesty.

everything was very hot and as usual delicious. Kudos to your staff especially that delivery gentleman. Will see you again soon be it delivery or eat in. The food in both cases is great.never a complaint. Thanks for everything.

I have always like Swiss Chalet chicken, sauce & french fries, but over the years the chicken's have gotten too small if you just order a quarter dinner! Still the great taste!
