Swizzles

Awsome place, my go to bar when I'm in Ottawa. They don't have much in the way of food but they serve you quickly.

I was here two days in a row and they make you feel loved and respected for who you are. I'm new to these kinds of places but everytime I am in Ottawa for at least a week I will always come here two times while in town

I absolutely love love love this bar! Sam, Jess, Tony & the rest of the staff are incredible! I will always go back.

Best damn bar in the city. All the bartenders are legends. Friday nights are packed, loud, fun and safe. If you go, tell them that Jack that tipped Tony $100 recommended Swizzles.

This place probably is the best in Ottawa!

Small but very intimate. Great selection in karaoke music. Will keep going back as many times as I can!

The best all welcoming watering hole you will ever find. Not for the claustrophobic on busy nights though. If you are going to participate in karaoke I suggest showing up early as hell having some pogos getting a song or two in and then leaving if you get all anxious because it's too busy. But trust me everyone there loves you in the biblical sense. Not that biblical sense.

Absolutely the best place to come with your friends! My friends and I have come for many Friday nights for karaoke! The owner and staff are all amazing and ensure everyone has a good time! Very inclusive bar and a welcoming space for members of the LGBTQ+ community! Swizzles is a second home!

Due to nothing being shown on your site and Facebook page. We showed up during a Gothic night. Felt uncomfortable due to the clientele mocking us, so we finished our drink post haste and left. The first time there, just might be our last.

Sam is the sweetest bartender I’ve ever met! So thoughtful and kind. Really amazing service. Someone that is truly passionate about their job and shares their positivity with the world. A true asset to any business. An excellent experience on a Saturday afternoon while the bar was absolutely empty.

Ask the bartender for his signature drink, it's a dangerous one though!
Goth night was a blast!

Queer friendly place to belt out some tunes! Feels almost like a friends basement and the warm welcome always feels like you're coming back to folks that you've known forever. Can't wait to come back!

This bar is small but very welcoming to everyone. Every night is a different fun event. Comedy mondays, Thursday Nights are a Drag, Basement Burlesque once a month, karaoke nights. The bar staff is so kind and remember my order. The pizzas are great and popcorn is available for munchies. Definitely recommend!

It used to be my favourite bar. There a new barmaid that made me feel really uncomfortable. I dont think of ever going again.

I went to Swizzles for the first time to see a Drag show and it was so much fun! The staff are the sweetest, the performers were fantastic, the music playing before and after the performance was lit! Such a warm, inclusive and fun place to go, I'll be back!

Swizzles isn't swanky but it's a great place to have a drink. Usually there's some fun event going on so it's rarely dull. Also the servers are all wonderful. I love going there.

Stopped in there with some friends and was pleasantly surprised with a nest burlesque show

Love the atmosphere and the servers but the new karaoke DJ is the worst. I leave my house once a month just for this guy to go out of his way to skip my song. 3 times now. I miss Dog

Talk about a good time! We went for burlesque and had a blast. Staff are so friendly and kind! Great cocktails, great music, and a fun dance floor. I can’t wait to be back!

Super fun vibes any night of the week! Especially during karaoke nights, everyone is super nice, friendly and supportive of those on stage. Go early if you want a seat on karaoke nights
