Symposium Cafe Restaurant & Lounge

The service provided by Gavin at the Georgetown location was top notch. I walked in to place a pickup order and told him I would be back to pick it up, as I had an other errands to run. He suggested that I call the restaurant when I was done and the order would be ready, as to not have it packed up and sitting while I was out. It was packaged properly and the food was delicious and warm still when I brought it home. Thank you for your great service!

Quiet time of evening - great service and food came out quickly. Had the Symposium burger - always a favorite.

I drove 35 mins to this place for breakfast after reading good reviews and absolutely disliked the service. We were seated immediately but no one came to take our order for the first 15-20 mins despite seeing that we were with an infant. After requesting they sent someone. The food came but (of course wrong order and no cutlery) which I had to remind them of! When we were almost done is when someone came to ask you d we wanted anything else zbut no one checked in between if we needed anything. Definitely don’t recommend and not going back!

Love symposium! It’s great food every time I’m here especially for lunch! Will keep coming back and the drinks are great too!

I ordered Mediterranean salad with no feta and chicken wings. I received my order with feta from a different server. I told server I asked for no feta and server was hesitant to change my order
The chicken wings came breaded. I asked server for non-breaded and I was rudely told “we don't have that here” and was asked to pick something else from menu. The original server came to the table and I asked for the non-breaded wings. I eventually got the wings. This location need to hire professional servers. I was very displeased with that server.

My girlfriend Francesca took me out for a late birthday dinner. We had lots of catching up to do. Our server Candice was great and so patient with us as we talked instead of ordering. Service was great and Gavin put on the Raptors game for us to watch which ended our dinner nicely with the win in OT. Thank you for great service and food.

Had a wonderful time at symposium today. Our waitress Lee did a fantastic job and deserves to be recognized for it. We are new to georgetown and have found our go to spot for breakfast on the weekend. The manager, or person running the store today was also a very kind sir. In our few times here he has been very kind and personable aswell.

Blake was our waiter and what can I say? Amazing service, great food, and a very nice ambiance! He was such a pleasant person, it made out whole experience very enjoyable.

Symposium Georgetown has become the go-to spot for brunch for my girlfriend and I. The food is consistently great. We also love the staff, who are all very pleasant. Looking forward to next time!

The owner was super friendly and nice. The ambiance was really nice. The restaurant was super busy when we got there but he did not rush us. Would definitely go back again.

Came here for lunch we a friend. We both enjoyed our delicious vegetarian omelettes and almond milk cappuccinos. We finished it with a shared waffle, covered in fresh fruit and strawberry coulis.
Alexis and Grayson were super friendly and attentive wait staff.

Lexus was very good, constantly checking up, and an overall great server. The food came very fast and I had no complaints. The food was also really good as well! I recommend the Belgium waffles with chocolate chips!

We visited Symposium Cafe in Georgetown today as my colleague and I met to catch up on work. Brittney looked after us and she was attentive and friendly but also gave us plenty of time and space to talk and focus on our meeting. When the dessert of choice was sold out, she was helpful and suggested other choices, so we appreciated that.
The food was really good. A huge menu to choose from and the dessert was the best!

We gave found a gem of a restaurant in Georgetown. My girlfriend snd I took advantage of the Thursday Date night special that was also available for lunch. Had the filet dinner and it was exquisite. Veggies were fresh and perfectly cooked. My date fell in love with the Chai Vanilla latte. The staff was attentive but not intrusive. Candice (our server) was awesome, yet if she was busy another staffer would deliver our food. Never felt rushed. And the Apple Gaufrette was a perfect finish to a perfect meal.

We were served by Gavin and he was very pleasant. The food was great and service was efficient. Gavin made the experience worth 5 stars.

We had an excellent breakfast experience here on Sunday. John was absolutely fantastic! He provided the best service I have had in a long time. Food and service was amazing, We will be back.

Symposium is our go to girl’s brunch spot.
First time we tried the Georgetown location for date night with hubby and we loved it! Drinks were great. Food came quickly and tasted amazing. I had the teriyaki salmon, it was cooked perfectly.
Definitely our new favourite restaurant for dinner!

So impressed by Gavin and his staff. Hannah, our server, was friendly and attentive. Our food came quickly and my son even said “compliments to the chef! ”

My friend and I came out for breakfast to celebrate a belated birthday. Our server Lexus was very kind and attentive. At one point we found out that they didn’t have an item I’d requested readily available. Gavin the GM, came out to the table. He was very apologetic and offered me an alternative to which I happily agreed. Our food came out shortly after and everything was tasty and hot. A perfect experience, a very special thanks to Symposium Georgetown team!
