It's hard to find quality jerk chicken in this city that is smoked in a drum the way it was intended but this place does it properly. Shout out to TDot you can't go wrong here

Stumbled upon one of the best jerk chicken in Toronto. One of few places that smoke their chicken so that it has a nice smoky flavour. They definitely know how to do it right. Get the large and you won't regret it.

Best in the city. The smoke and the flavour on the jerk chicken is outstanding. There is real depth to the flavour. Rice and peas & gravy were perfect. Good portions and price. Going to try more items soon.

Small place with a one man show. Phenomenal, chicken is juicy and fall off the bone while the skin is crispy and sauce is perfect balance between spicy and flavorful. The Carolina reaper based hot sauce is out of this world. Will be recommending to everyone, if you are in the area this is a must. Best in Toronto

This is the best jerk chicken joint in town. I wish I could give it 10 STARS!: D But there is so much more wonderful items on the menu like roti, fish with OKRA, and so much more. Junior, the owner, is a gem! He is such a nice, funny, extremely professional and very clean. You get some free wisdom with your meal it’d you sit down and talk to him! Always a pleasure, Great location by the lake. He also makes his own Carolina Reaper hot sauce from the peppers grown in his backyard. This place is legit best thing in Toronto, what are you waiting for? Go get your soul food!: D

My experience at Tdot Jerk has been nothing but pleasant. From the food that is served to the customer service. Highly recommend the place if you’re looking for some good Jamaican food! Junior is the best!

I popped in here at lunchtime as I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about this place. WOW it lived up to the hype. I got the small jerk chicken plate and everything about it was perfection. The chicken was juicy and the coleslaw was very fresh and flavorful. I cleaned the plate off.

The employees were very friendly too. This place will definitely be making my regular lunch rotation!

Ordered for the first time today and the food exceeded expectations. Even though he was sold out of a couple of things I ordered, everything was delicious and more than made up for it.

This is my favourite Caribbean food restaurant in the city, it really is a hidden gem. Junior the cook has the best seasoning, the chicken is cooked to perfection and the gravy makes you want every last bit of rice. The only bad thing is sometimes they don’t have plantains but it’s only because they only serve them if they are good and in season 10/10 would recommend.

Went in with no expectations but was pleasantly surprised at how effing good their jerk chicken is.

OMG! This was so delicious and so unlike any other jerk place in Toronto because it's SO SO SO MUCH better. Very highly recommended! One of my best meals ever in Toronto.

We were a group of four who stumbled into this hole-in-wall place after a Google search following a cold and icy winter urban hike that left us a hungry.

Our group leader is of Jamaican ancestry, has spent much time in Jamaica, and knows her jerk.

She confirmed this is what what jerk should be.

Again: completely unlike anything else available elsewhere because it's so delicious and authentic.

Sure, each dish may be a couple of bucks more than elsewhere.but worth it.

A bit like like difference between REAL Chinese food and the fake American version.

Best to go for the real thing.

Definitely one of the best jerk places I've been to in Toronto! It's a tiny spot with little seating and no a/c unfortunately, so we ordered for takeout instead. Staff was very friendly and even offered us a sample of the meat and hot sauce which was a delicious combination. Several more customers ordered after us and it seemed the one guy working there prepared all the food at once which took forever. I'm sure we waited at least 35 minutes before we got the food but let me tell you.it was worth the wait.
The good guy had really packed the containers full of meat, rice, gravy and coleslaw and gave us extra hot sauce on the side. The jerk pork was juicy and incredibly flavorful. Everything combined the meal was fantastic enough for two meals even! Drinks were ice cold as well, always a good sign in any restaurant!
Loved every single bite of it and will definitely come again!

Was craving jerk chicken but never tried this place out and can say with confidence it's the best jerk chicken in the parkdale area hands down! The owner, I'm assuming, greeted us from the kitchen and realized we were first time customers at his establishment and prepared us each a sample of the jerk chicken which we ended up ordering because it was so damn good. It's got a delicious smoky BBQ jerk flavor to it, just the best jerk I've had anywhere! Great food and awesome customer service, highly recommended

Great little place to eat, good portion sizes and the flavours were great. Different flavour than other Jerk places, more smoky than we're used to, but it still tasted great. Would definitely visit again.
