Favourite way to get on and off the island. They even have an app now so you can collect points and earn free rides!

Average service, Yes it’s quite fast but wait time is a bit more. They claim their service is every 15mins but we had to stand in the queue for about 45mins

Rielle was a wonderful driver, and Evan Buzdon was so kind to us on the dock and made us feel so welcome. Evan was great at the dock and Rielle made our ride home Amazing, pointing out the dock and showing us the sights.

My family and I had a great time with our Captain Riall (I think that's how you spell it - sorry) she had amazing energy and made us feel welcome with her great conversations, we were almost sad to get off at the island as she was so great! We had a great experience with our other captain as well. Another friendly and great person. I recommend anyone looking to get across to the Toronto Island, use the the T Dot Water Taxi!

My family and I decided to take the TDOT Water Taxi last week. We had the pleasure of being in Jacob's boat. The kids were terrified and he was able to calm them down so the ride was enjoyable. It was a safe and efficient way to get to the island. I would highly recommend it!

I go to the island ALOT and Rielle is by far the best driver and over most welcoming person i may have ever met in my life!

Rude.spammer. No customer service.

These guys the main island is just trying spam around and ripping off people. I request everyone not to go with these guys as they are not friendly and very rude.

We were 7 people (5 adults and 2 kids under 7) in total and we were heading to the island they charge us $14.40 upfront per person and they charged us 172 as they charged us twice. Upon asking they were rude to give us the refund and when confronting them they gave us the refund. After giving us the refund the guys said rudely that “while returning use the city ferry which is free”. On reaching the island the taxi driver was rude as well because when we asked him to give us a hand to move the stroller out of the taxi he just stood there and said I need to take other people back.

5 star staff and 5 star service! I’ve taken several water taxi rides from several different companies, and this one is by far the best! They really go above and beyond! Blue is best!

Captain Rielle saved our lives!

We were patiently over waiting for our full water taxi to depart and take us back to Yonge street, and Rielle came out of nowhere asking us why we’re waiting? I said the driver left us and didn’t come back. We were in a rush and she actually took all 9 passengers right away and got us safely to the harbor.

The best water taxi service! The staff were super friendly and the operator made the trip extremely pleasant! I Highly recommend taking “Tdot Water Taxi” the beautiful blue pontoon boats, to visit the island. I will definitely be back!

These guys are the best. We hired them for our wedding and they took everyone to the Gibraltar private dock and even helped us unload our boxes and boxes of wine. Lovely service, beautiful dock with a piano, safe and super friendly. The best pick for getting to the island!

Loved the boat ride and downtown Toronto too if your going to the islands TDot is the way to go.

I had a bad experience with this taxi service. There staff was arrogant. I will not recommend this service at all. There are other companies around which are way nicer. I wish I had done my research before taking this taxi. Horrible staff members not helpful at all.

TDOT water taxi was so much fun! I’ve used all the taxis in the harbour and it’s safe to say that TDOT was the best. There was a very friendly and greeting young man who helped purchase my tickets with my friends. He was very accommodating and even gave us a map for our first time. The drivers we lots of fun, especially with the party lights. It was like a mini rave on the water! I definitely recommend using TDOT water taxi if you’re going to go to the island.

It’s more pricy than the ferry but with impatient kids, nothing is better for our treks to centre island. During Covid times especially we feel the water taxi has offered a lot more safe travel

One of the few water taxi services that allow escooters on board. Captain was very friendly, cracked jokes and took me and my friends and our e-scooters to the island in a matter of minutes. Great views, beats the line and hassle with the ferries, which do not allow e-scooters. Debit and credit accepted.

Very bad experience with T Dot! When they asked 12$ each and given me the ticket and saying it will be free trip when coming back from the island. When I came back they charged me another 12$ to let me go. They are totally scammers, they set the trap to the costumers and deny what they've said before you get on the board! DO NOT GO with them!

We had a wonderful ride, the captain, JACOB, was very friendly. This was our first ride so he guided us about the island. We enjoyed a lot.

I lost my bag and luckily my phone was inside the bag. They found my bag and held on to it until I arrived to pick it up.

Classic tourist rip off…
When we left, they said the return trip was free. Wrong thought, because after the return trip a new payment was due.
The riddle solution:
Of course, the free return trip only applies to a trip on another company's boat. You could have known all that, because it is said to be on the receipt, which acts as a ticket.but was unfortunately collected on the outward journey… After all, the malicious laughter of the employees, including the victory sign, is free of charge. Yeah, once again won a great victory over the customer.) Oh yes, to be on the safe side, there is no receipt for paying for the return trip. Maybe some people and/or authorities don't have to know everything.

Enjoyed the boat ride back! Awesome music, great lights and awesome crew! Jacob was awesome! He brought the life back into us with his awesome playlist! Thanks Jacob!

They take advantage of tourists and purposely over charged me for my ticket. Please go use another ferry service (there is one nearby and is much cheaper)

It’s a good experience for $12. It will be good if they had a good intro to new people about the island and their multiple stops. They have multiple stops at the harbour front and goes to central island, hanlans point

Absolutely professional from start to the end. Took great care of me and my family. Instead of having to wait 30 minutes for a ferry, we got to center island in 6 minutes. The boat was comfortable and the driver (not sure if that is proper term) was super friendly to everyone on the boat. Absolutely recommend TDOT water taxi and again thank you so much for an awesome experience.

Service is very convenient I will say, but one of the ladies organizing the lines is incredibly rude for no apparent reason. Not assertive; blatantly rude. Don’t have people working in customer service who treat paying customers like this.

We were heading over to the ferry dock and noticed TDOT on the side of Westin Hotel. Not like the other water taxi companies along the queens quay, they actually have a cute lounge area with colour Muskoka chairs painted by local artists and some live musics for you to enjoy while waiting.

We were greeted by Ania and Ewelina - the sisters are super friendly, helpful and patient to the tourists on suggestions where to dine, see and do on the islands.

We will defiantly use TDOT as our summer transportation from Toronto City to Toronto Islands!

The drivers were excellent. Very safe and cautious. Had lots of fun on the boat rides as well. The dock was beautiful with all of the chairs! Dock staff was amazing and friendly too. 100% will be coming back with all my friends.

They tell passengers to take the ferry back for free but not that masks are mandatory. They just want your money.

Stumbled upon TDOT Water Taxi on our va action. We took the water taxi to the island for our daughter’s birthday. They were very friendly and made our ride enjoyable. Highly recommend their service

Their level of Professionalism is second to none. They will Always be my go to anytime I want super fast service! Yes I gave them 6 STARS because they are that good. Nufffsaid.

There are different charges in cash and with card.

Like the some of the other customers said, the sales woman at the kiosk told me verbatim that they are the only ones giving a ride back for free and gave me some card to present to the boat driver on my way back. Iturned out to be a lie. Just a gratuitous lie. On top of that the entire crew is rude, mouthy.

They are big scammer they charge you 12$ and even ask for the same on your way back when you end trip. They. Never say it’s one way. So total fare is 24+ Tax. While for other ferry it’s just 7.5 $ all inclusive- to and fro. Very rude staff as well. Worst ever experience.

Amazing service. Every worker was very pleasant and easy to deal with. Gave very thorough and thought out explanations as to what there is to do on the island. Definitely will be recommending to everyone I know!

These guys are cheater, charging you different in cash and different with card.
They charge for each way and will not tell you upfront.

Quick and easy to find with awesome customer service. Great taxi to reach Toronto island than ferry

Organized an event for roughly 50+ people to go out to the island and back. Tdot was there well before the arranged meet time and ready to help us bring multiple loads of equipment to the island before they started with people. They worked in the pouring rain, and were always a phone call away for when people wanted to come back. Cant say enough about this company, but would never use a different Water Taxi company

I had a really good time! Jacob was playing really good music and making conversation! 10/10 I hope I get him everytime I go to the island.

Jacob was an awsome guy and we enjoyed a lot during our ride.
