I don’t know how the food is, but the service is not good. We waited at the entrance of the store for half an hour in winter, and then our seat was given to a table for 6 people. I’m really speechless. If we hadn’t asked, we don’t know how long we would have had to wait. Communication and service are poor.

If you are used to Xinjiang cuisine in China, this would be the place to go for you.

If you are new to this, you may find this taste a bit strange. In other words, you need to acquire the taste for it and so don't treat this place as an option if you don't know what to eat on a random day.

The iconic dish to get is the Big plated chicken. The chicken is super tender. The potato drenches into the sauce making it super juicy every bite. Flat noodles are served below the chicken (Not too special)

We also got a beef stir fry noodle. I don't recommend getting this spicy. The flavor is just pure heat.

There is a piano in the room for any piano players that like to perform for everyone in the restaurant.

Food is good. However, I ordered salted milk tea, cashier asked me if I wanted sweeted, I told her that no, I wanted to order the salted milk tea. Finally I still got the sweetened one when I arrived home.

I have been looking for places to try Chinese cuisine for quite some time and came across this restaurant while taking a stroll casually. The ambience is okay.
The portion size is good but for a single person it's a lot, hence, had to get the rest packed.
Overall a decent experience for me but I wish I had tried something else. That's for next time I guess.

Why is there no menu posted on your website? The menu link does not work. I have seen pictures of the food and the portion sizes and remarks of the prices. We would like to try this cuisine but would like to have more transparency. You have a website so please share information to the general public. Your site has not worked for about 10 months.

It is a must-visit spot! Excellent food, amazing service and a great atmosphere. Everything we had here has been of superior quality.

Taam cuisine is a quaint eatery tucked in a residential neighborhood that offers the essentials of Uyghur cuisine. Their menu (for weekday lunch at least) fits on one page. Everything we ordered were spiced very well. The baked lamb buns were delicious, the lamb isn't gamey at all. The milk tea (sweet) is very creamy. We found the large pot of milk tea too much for the two of us, but we took the rest home and are still drinking it as iced milk tea!

Taste is okay. Horridly overpriced. Three skewers for 19 dollars is insanity. I thought maybe it was because they were very big skewers or something, but they were regularly sized. You can also order skewers individually instead of 3 at a time. But then youll be paying 7 bucks per skewer. 14 dollars for TWO meat buns is also wild.

All in all, if money or value is not being considered here, it's a decent place. If value is of any consideration at all however, I can't recommend this place in good conscience.

A very nice, small restaurant with really good Uyghur and Chinese food.

I love the cucumber salad. It is such an amazing contrast in the dish with cold cucumber covered by the thin, lightly spicy sauce. I'll go back just for the cucumber salad. I cannot wait to try it again, and if it tasted this good in March, I can imagine it will be even more wonderful in summer.

The homemade yogurt is wonderful. The lamb skewers are very good, with a great mix of warming spices. Occasionally there are some chewy/tough pieces but overall the skewers are done very well.

Plov isn't my favourite way of presenting rice but I do like the way TAAM has made their version. Finally the crispy stirfry dishes have a really nice mix of vegetables, meat, spice and sauce.

The service is really good. The staff are very pleasant and enjoyed talking with us about the food and how we were enjoying the experience.

The place was great and the service was great. The food was nice. The lamb skewers were a bit dry and lean. The baked lamb bun goes well with their chili sauce. The ding ding noodle was great: D
The yogurt was ordinary. Milk tea was okay too. The stired fried spicy chicken was the best! Chicken is slightly crispy but not oily, the flavor was spicy and delicious! Highly recommended.

Immediately upon walking in you are greeted with a warm and cozy traditional interior and a very pleasant aroma of delicious food.

We ordered 2 of the main courses; the couple-sized Chicken Stew (大盘鸡) which comes with potatoes, vegetables, and wide noodles (mildly spicy), and we also got the Pilov with Lamb Shank (新疆特色手抓饭) which comes with fried rice topped with carrot, raisins, and scallions.

The couple-sized Chicken Stew on its own was more than enough food for 2 people. We had tons of leftovers to bring home after dinner and ate it later that night. For drinks, we ordered the couple-sized Sweet Homemade Milk Tea (新疆自制奶茶). The milk tea is served warm and has a very pleasant taste to it. What made the tea extra interesting was the fact that it's served in a bowl which I think made it even more delicious.

For dessert, we ordered the Homemade Yogurt (自制酸奶). It has a nice sweetness to it and although an acquired taste, the sesame seeds added a complimentary taste to the sweetness of the yogurt and raisins.

On top of already having absolutely amazing food and drinks, the staff at Taam Cuisine are also extremely friendly and made us feel at home during our visit. We will definitely be coming back and I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try Xinjiang food!

Food is delicious and the staff are so friendly. My personal favourites are the beef noodle with chive and the lamb with cold noodle. Both the sweet and salty milk tea are really good but the salty one has a unique taste that some may not like so I’d recommend the sweet one if you want to be safe.

Taste is great, portion is good when you choose the large size, little bit pricy, but still worth coming, 大盘鸡 is a must, add noodles as needed as the sauce is too good to be true

TAAM is my best 2022 restaurant choice and probably 2023 in Toronto for Asian food. The cuisine roots are from Xinjiang. Epic!

Great flavors, handmade noodles, hand made pastries and the owners are amazing. 100% recommend this restaurant and their culinary talents.

Had dinner last night. Service was horrible, the waitress forgot to place all of orders but remembered ask tips, and kept talking with other staffs. Food was tasty.

Taam never disappoints! Hands down one of the best comfort foods in GTA. The quality of the dishes is great. Big plate chicken, beef long noodle and lamb screwers are to die for

This restaurant was phenomenal. The best new place I've tried in a really long time. Each dish had a unique flavour and texture, and the noodles all tasted really chewy and fresh. I would highly recommend the Ding Ding stir fried noodles, the stuffed buns and the stir friend lamb stomach. All those dishes were packed with flavour. Additionally, TAAM Cuisine had really interesting decor that made the restaurant feel friendly and homey. Try this place out!

I love this restaurant so much! I have to drive 40km to get here! But worth the money and time. It is so so good!

Worst services ever! Waited for 15 min to be seated and no one came. Eventually we were told there're 2 tables ahead of us. When ordering, the waiter's attitude surprised me. Are you sure you can talk to the customers like that?
Food quality in general is disappointing. Noodles are over cooked, very soft. This is what I can say about the food: The only thing I liked was the yogurt.
Run, not walk, away from this restaurant.
