Tabule Middle Eastern Cuisine

A great pre-theatre meal (10 minute walk to Crow’s Theatre), excellent service, comfortable surroundings. We had Kefta, falafels and grilled salmon - all were really great. The mujaddara substitution is absolutely worth it.
A great start to a really great evening!

Tabule is a cozy, upscale eatery with the most delicious Middle Eastern food I have tried yet! We tried the gluten-free pita and hummus and I was blown away with the quality of the pita. It tasted like it was fresh out of the oven and the hummus was excellent. For our main, we tried the kafta. Every mouthful was rich and well flavoured. Our server Monica did a great job of making us feel welcome and orienting us to the menu. Thank you for such a lovely experience!

Fantastic food and great service and atmosphere. A regular favorite for me for the great food. Lots of delicious vegan options available.

Went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon (July 2023) we were taken care of by Cora. She was a tremendous host. With wonderful recommendations for spirits. We highly recommend being hosted by Cora.

The best experience of Middle Eastern food I've had in Toronto so far. It's consistent from the Yonge to Queen East restaurants. Service was very friendly.

Tl: Dr - food was tasty with nice amount of spices. Went during a Saturday afternoon where it wasn't too busy, service was poor and frankly just a bit rude.

The skinny of it is, the food is pretty decent, the music wasn't too loud or soft, giving it a decent ambience and the windows were open for the indoor / outdoor experience. We were seated almost right away, and was given water and menus. Our group chose our food items, asked about the size of the appetizers vs meal which was met with a serious amount of attitude. And when we asked to keep the menu where we were scoffed at - specifically saying we wouldn't need it. They came with a bread basket and we all waited for our meals. Bread was good - got a side of garlic dip while we're at it.

It wasn't long until we got our food. The portions are big, and we'll executed! I had the kefta and everything was cooked well and spiced accordingly.

Finally, the server never came back to check on us once until the very end where she threw our bills at us. This was an unfortunate service experience but the food was worth visiting.

Updated 07/2022. This is still the best lebanese restaurant in Toronto. I highly recommend the château Muzar red wine.
As usual tabule has the best labneh, tabule, makanek, vine leaf, falafel, chicken, daily fish and tawuk. I invited my friends here and they were very impressed by the food.
You must try their drinks, they reflect Lebanese traditions and trendiness.
Tonight was another excellent dinner I love tabule.
I highly recommend them for friend, family and business.

First time visiting and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The mezze platter and the kefta banadura we're the highlights of our meal for sure. Service was amazing as well, the entire staff was on it!

Very tasty food and they had gluten free pita bread. The waiter was extremely friendly and was able to give us great advice.

Good atmosphere, vibes and aesthetic. Friendly staff. Lamb and tabuleh was exceptional. Hummus was decent. Shrimp, eggplant and kefta were bland

Fast & kind service, beautiful interior, welcoming atmosphere and most importantly, amazing food! This is my first time at a middle eastern restaurant and I’m blown away. It is a bit expensive but the vegetables, rice and meat was cooked to perfection with tasty seasoning…so to me it’s definitely worth it!

One of my favourite east end spots! So many great fresh flavours, service is always great. The shrimp dish and cauliflower are so scrumptious.

We got the falafel in pita and for some reason i thought it would be like a falafel wrap, but it wasn't. The mistake was on me!
We shared it for dinner & it was delicious and felt healthy!

Great food, good restaurant overall. Do not order from their website. Arrived over 40 minutes late and I get a call to get the food from the car as opposed to the driver just dropping it off at door. Unsure if that is normal procedure.

I fell in love with tabule. The food, the cocktails, the service everything is perfect. We ordered the baba ghanouj, kafta w banadoura and the taouk platter. We finished with mhallabiye for dessert which was mouthwatering. Everything was amazing. Definitely going back.

I was so hungry that forgot to take pictures but this was a delicious middle eastern dinner. I loved the dips, especially baba ghanoush and the fried cauliflower.in the end it was also pretty affordable for the quality and ambience.must go back.

AWESOME Experience with Sheryl at Tabule on Queen Street.

We were having a party down the street. The catering at the venue did not work out and we were STUCK! We dropped into Tabule on Queen, 6 days before the event and Sheryl helped us to an experience that was truly AWESOME!

We were served delicious Grilled Salmon, Grilled Lamb and Barbequed Shrimp. These three selections were the guest favorites and they were consumed with delight and gusto! There were mixed vegetables, an awesome Cauliflower and Tahini bite, Kubbe, Kefta, Tawuk, and Warak Enab. Warak Enab, little grape leaves filled with seasoned rice, these were another favorite and a delightful mouth sized bite! Everything was accompanied by pita breads, pickles, dips, hummus and the absolutely most delicious Labni ever!

Thanks to the staff at Tabule on Queen and to Sheryl for making our party a tremendous success. The guest loved it, and we loved it! We are incredibly grateful for the excellent service and the delicious food.

Had a lovely experience here! The servers are very nice and the food was delicious! I’m GF and they have lots of options!

Cute restaurant with a very nice ambiance and beautiful interiors. Drinks are really impressive and the food is good, thought hit and miss depending on the item. I found their lamb tasted mature and halumi was uninspiring. Falafel and chicken were excellent. Portion sizes are on the smaller side. Service was polite thought for that price point I would expect not to deal with issues like a wobbly table. Finally I didn't love how tightly the tables were packed.

I'd like to focus on customer service in this review, although I also give Tabule a 5 star on their food all day, everyday! Last week I called in an order for pick up and unfortunately upon arriving home I realized I'd received the Kefta dinner and not the Kefta Banadura dinner. I'm not sure about everyone else, but my experience with customer service from any business recently has been disappointing and outright appaling, so I was expecting the same when calling the restaurant to let them know about the mistake. When speaking with the party that took my order, she took full responsibility and worked quickly to resolve the issue. I was in shock! Little did they know it was my requested Birthday dinner, but that wasn't even mentioned. Thank you Tabule for being so proactive, resourceful, accommodating and most importantly, restoring my faith that theres still light for good customer service in our world!

Great food as always and fantastic service from our server. A great selection of vegetarian options and I definitely lover their Jallab Lemonade with Date Molasses and Rose Lemon with soda, pine nuts and raisins.

A wonderful and pleasant dinner was had here as a first time visit. The restaurant is cozy, our server was patient and sweet and the food was perfect during every bite. Will be coming back again to try more of the delicious items on the menu! So many good choices.
