Not too excited about the service fee and rate of exchange. I presume it is probably all the same across the board at any currency exchanges in the GTA.

In the last 8 years living in Totonto, dealing with Taheri exchange was the worst experience! Very rude and ignorant! Never recommend it to anyone. One star is too much for their terrible service.

Had a decent experience, ordered some currency and they did not have it on hand so they ordered it and shipped it to me a few days later. Only issue is that they didn't send a tracking number for the shipment and I found out that the package was at the post office from a delivery slip left in my mailbox, but that isn't a huge issue. Overall, I am happy with my experience.

I wish I could give -5 star. This place is absolutely awful. Zero customer service. 6 people in the line. At least for half an hr and there was nobody to serve us. They didn’t even care to ask. It was my first and last experience with them. They don’t have any respect for your time.

I will add to the chorus of people stating that these individuals are extremely rude and unprofessional. In my case, all I wanted is to buy Japanese Yen to travel to Japan. The guy who called me was extremely rude and very unprofessional, and I have to ask why they are so rude. He refused to say when the money would ship out to me, when it did come after two weeks, it came all in the eqivalent of $100 bills (10,000 Yen). I went to Continental Currency Exchange and bought another $1000 worth of Yen, and was treated with respect, as you would normally expect anywhere else. There is a reason why these guys get such low reviews. I am another person who will never go to them again.

The best place for currency exchange in Toronto, period. Very fast, secure and always offer the best rates.

My fiancee had been a loyal customer of theirs for about 8 years but not anymore. The latest experiences had opened our eyes and now we see why they have so many bad reviews. They don't update their working hours so we got there and it was closed, wasted our time. They don't pick up the phone calls either and when they do, the person speaking over the phone is very rude. And lastly, they do not keep their promises. We told them we wanted to exchange a large sum of money and they said if we brought cash, they would offer us a special rate. However, when we were ready to do the exchange, they told us there is no special rate for cash. Wasted our time and our bank manager's time. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SKETCHY COMPANY.

Sunny was very helpful. He texted when he had currency on stock and offered a better rate. They validated my parking so it didn't cost anything. They have underground parking.

I’m shocked of few biased reviews whereas my experience with Taheri Exchange was very good particularly they gave me the rate much higher than all exchanges in North York

The business owner is a very decent and gentleman (Mr. Taheri) with a great customer service manner. He called me in person and apologized for his rude and unprofessional staff (Farahani and the other guy with yellow hair!).

Very rude and unprofessional. It's basically their way or highway. U guys need to work on your manners. Don't waste your time and money with these guys, go somewhere else!

Kind of Distant, arrogant, and rude to regular customers, might be good for wealthy clients and companies though, I had much better experience with some other exchange bureaus in Iranian Plaza

This is a review for the cash currency exchange service. The rates are always better than banks and they have a variety of currency available. Service is accommodating and quick, as I could pay though debit or cash.

However, they do need to get more than one debit card reader. The last time I was there, another person was trying to print out a receipt through the machine from a different service at the branch and took too long fumbling with the machine.

Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend the rates and services here over typical banks and other CE centres around the area.

I live right next to this exchange place and whenever i go to work there are always people outside smoking pot, or regular cigars. That isnt a good work enviromentm

Worst exchange company ever, specially when you are trying to send money to Iran, their Iran's office are rude and thief, they hold your money for 3 or 4 weeks in their office and when you ask for your money they saying go to police if you have any proof

Excellent and fast money exchange, they are very professional and provide the most honest service in Canada.

Let just say I finally STOP giving this place the business. If anyone want to take the plung it is at your own risk.
