Decent food but chicken was kinda dry I guess that’s what the extra sauce is there for. 3.5 ️

Ordered 2 Jerk chicken rice bowl, rice was not fresh and chicken was not so good. Need more improvements.

Was really excited to try it thanks to their tiktok ads. The blue flame seemed right up my alley. However. At $20 for a large shawarma wrap with no side or drink or anything else is pretty expensive. The wrap itself was just ok. There is a much better place in Oshawa called Tybahs. Plus it took 10-15 minutes to make my order which was ridiculous.

I wish this place was as good as it was when it first opened. The service here has gone way down and the quality of food has diminished significantly. I got a basic chicken shawarma here a few weeks ago and it was completely butchered. They used a regular pita (not that thin one used before) and didn't even bother to split the pocket to make it. They literally slapped it together and folded it in half. Truly disappointing. I'd rather drive to the location in Pickering to get the good stuff which is further away than ever go back here again.

The food is delicious and the workers are always efficient and putting a lot of care into the prep. This place has never disappointed me. Love it here!

I guess I am disappointed because I eat at the one in Pickering all the time.they never provide pita chips with our orders for the fattouch salad and when you opt for feta you get a dash at best.and it's just doesn't look fresh like it does from Pickering store

I decided to give Tahinis a second try. I ought to have learnt from my first visit. I don't usually leave poor reviews but I do expect better customer service, that is at least pleasant which she was not. I tried a chicken shawarma wrap and it was flavourless. A bit disappointing considering Pita Pit is next door and the bar is fairly low. The veggies were sparse, no parsley available and sauce was slim. Try Elias across the way, patron them and get a tasty meal.

I had a shawarma wrap from there. It was such a disaster. Asked to add fries and hot sauce in the sandwich. Both weren't there. It's very poor with regards to coordination and handling busy times.

Just saw that they are slowly increasing prices every couple of weeks for ordering pick-up. Now it is more expensive to order pick-up than to order in-person. They need to clarify that if they are going to charge more for no reason.

Foods great, it’s my go to spot in the area for a good shawarma bowl, ingredients are always fresh. But whenever I call to order they NEVER pick up, they pick up I say 3% of the times and that’s being generous. It’s quite aggravating. But the food keeps me coming back so guess I gotta deal with it…

Too slow. It's a fast food, but is really slow in service. Also, less toppings in wraps. Price can be a dollar or two cheaper

I ordered 2 shawarma today paid 35$ already expensive and when i got it it had barely any meat and or anything actually its like your just eating bread and some salad i didn’t know if it was vegetarian or what but basically no meat and no garlic sauce on it even tho i requested that and i call the guy could not be more rude and disrespectful and said bring it tomorrow i will give u another one didn’t say sorry about that or anything and hang up very bad experience

Very professional service, atmosphere is also likable. Wrap sizes are big enough for one person.

Order was taken and prepared quickly. Gentlemen at counter was courteous and answered all questions. No Doubt food is always good. Thanks.

We enjoy your food but when you sell an item as a large and don't even fill half the container thats just ridiculous. Especially for the price charged.

Tahini’s SLAPS. Delicious food. Lots of toppings and options to choose from. Large portions. Very nice staff. All in all one of my fave places for fast food.
It’s a little pricey but when you see the amount if quality food you get you’ll see why it’s worth it.

The girl that was working in there today (Saturday June 25th, 2022) has zero customer service skills. Barely acknowledges you, doesn’t say hello or goodbye. When I asked her what I could get on my shawarma bowl, she very abruptly was like “I can’t tell you, you can choose yourself, just look at the wall”. I’m a manager myself for a large retail business. I would let that person go if they acted that way to a customer. Their employees seem burnt out. Put in more labour or get more friendly employees. I’ll be going to another Shawarma place after today. Thanks but no thanks

This place is great! Love the decor and the wide range of food choices available. What's incredible about this place is the healthy approach that it's taken for shawarma. Improvements I would make is for the shawarma meat to be higher quality. I found that the meat is super fatty and tends to be Lower quality cuts. The sauces hit the spot!

Got their chicken shawarma bowl. I have had good shawarma meat from many different places and this one didn't disappoint. Although I found the sauces and Chicken a tad bit salty compared some others but I don't mind the taste. However what I did find were a couple of hard bones hidden within the chicken that was unpleasant when I bit into them. I have never had this experience in any other shawarma place before but otherwise it was alright.

A gem in Whitby! The food is consistently great (both take out and dine in), the service and owner are wonderful, and the portions are plentiful. Whenever I’m craving Barakat’s from London this is my go to ️. Their fries and garlic are a must!

Been here a few times. While the food is ok service really sucks. When ordering on line went in at pick up time (30 mins from ordering) and order was not even started had to wait. When ordering on store.long waits.other frustrated customers waiting. Servers don't have customer service skills not friendly. Wont be a regular customer.

We ordered Familiy ultimate box and it was ultimate loved everything there was meat in everything even in salad, fries, samosa, bowls everything thing except falafel.

I came here late at night after hearing about all my friends rave about this place. And it was definitely everything we hoped and dreamed of and better. The food was good, but Vishal’s and Pankaj’s customer service was even better. They were busy with lots of orders but you could not hear it in their tone nor in their mannerism. Great food and great employees. P.s get the fries with garlic sauce and hot sauce!

I got the chicken wrap with authentic style. Probably the best tasting Shawarma wrap I have had outside of Egypt.

I had a chicken shawarma and my wife had a falafel. Both were terrible. The shawarma was incredibly greasy/mushy and had no flavour and the falafel wasn't much better. We both left half our food uneaten. Staff were polite but not very friendly or welcoming. They seemed overworked and tired. The beef samosas were okay and the portion sizes were excellent, but I won't be back.

Had the "limited offer" Habanero Chicken Shwarma and Habibi bowl; both were good and would recommend. Was really busy on Friday but was able to skip the line by ordering through their website/app.

TLDR: better than Osmows.

The food was very good and their hot sauce was one of the best shawarma hot sauces I have tried

Ordered today a large chicken Shawarma old school as usual.
This time it was not fresh from the grill, just out of a Box and warmed up.
It tasted like over cooked soup meat!
Can’t go here anymore either.

Tahini's is a lovely restaurant, which is clean and well kept, and staff are friendly and welcoming. I have ordered multiple times from here, the food is delicious and always well prepared, and loved by all my family. Will definitely be coming back for more!

Amazing, great testing food I got the maya salad and it was worth the price. The staff is also great as well

The restaurant is nice and clean. The food is not good. We went in there, being vegan and being notified they had vegan options. We ordered 2 falafel wraps and a large crispy fry.
The wraps are small. We ordered a medium and small and there was no difference between either. There is zero flavour. It had tahini as a sauce but there was no flavour of it. It came with lettuce and the option of tomato, pickle, onion, parsley. I asked for futoush salad and didn’t get it. The falafel are hard and gummy. And again just no flavour. For $23 I was super disappointed.

Definitely not fast food, be ready to wait upwards of 20 minutes for a simple chicken shawarma wrap. The food itself was DISGUSTING. Taste nothing but garlic sauce, no hot sauce added when requested. Oh and $44 for 3 chicken wraps. Another bad shawarma in Durham region

Good food, friendly staff and definitely don't Cheap out on portions. Had the butter chicken shawarma and it was delicious.

Very bad Experience. Asked for two Beef Shawarma they mixed-up chicken inside looks like shortage of beef stock. I asked them where is beef grill coz I saw only chicken being grilled. They charge completely but they didn't made what I paid for. I asked for some fries for tasting they told Its not included I said nevermind. Cold beef filled inside. Asked for extra hot but it was mild one. My brother mention why he didn't followed what mentioned on order receipt. I couldn't go back since I live not very close. I'm definitely not going back to give my business. April 4th, 2021.

Would not recommend this place. I ordered from skip the dishes early in the morning so when I come back from work I can have it delivered before hand to eat. My skip delivery time was from 12-12: 30. They made my order 11: 29am. The chicken tasted so bad. Looks and tastes like it was from yesterday. Was really bad taste. I have ordered it before in evening time and that time the chicken was so juicy and nice. But this morning it was terrible. Don’t recommend buying it early morning.

Ordered the Maya salad, menu says it has cucumbers, green peppers, feta and tomatoes. Was not included in mine, what I received was chicken over romaine with my add ons of onion, cabbage and hummus only. Quite disappointing spending $14+ for this, as its missing half the vegetables and the meat portion was not good for the price I paid. Might give it another try in the far future, as the falafel I had was good along with the garlic sauce.

Solid place for shawarma. They have a unique bread for their pita. Its crispier and the texture adds nicely to the package. However, this is on the pricey side and thus limits the rating I can give. Would recommend try however

My family has been ordering from Tahini’s regularly for a while now and every time we do it’s amazing! Their habanero chicken shawarma is delicious and their falafels are the best that we’ve ever had. Every time we recommend Tahini’s to friends and family, they love it. You should definitely check them out!

Great quality shwarma, toppings and sides. Staff are friendly and willing to substitute sides. Highly recommend this place.

I came before and had a issue with my order i came back and ordered again and the staff said 15 to 20 mins i came back after 20 mins and the food was not ready i had to wait another 15 mins to get my food. Not going to came here again.

The guys from today exactly at 3: 30 provided the best customer service experience I've seen in any restaurant out there. Very friendly and the food is just so freaken delicious. The chicken shawarma have the original taste of shawarma and the hummus is well done. Two thumbs up and I'm definitely going back and will order again very soon.thank you guys. The buttered chicken shwarma was great, tasted really authentic. The service was on point, the guy that took my order was really kind. In conclusion, it was a good first time experience.
