I am eating from this restaurant long time. But this time I found that this quys reduce quantity of food. I ordered large falafel Bowl. And when I received food It’s look like I got small falafel quantity in big bowl. I forgot to click picture this time…
I used to love Tahinis when they switched over from Barakats, but their food quality and customer service has declined over the years drastically.
I had Tahinis last year and had a horrible experience, messaged them over messenger, they read my message but never responded.
I decided to give them another try tonight, and it was definitely a reminder not to return. Food was horrible and lacked toppings in the shawrma sandwich. (Disappointing)
I didn't get anywhere near as much chicken in my wrap as I do at Shelby's or Babaz. My extra large shawarma was mostly just peta bread. Pretty disappointing
I’m a regular here, and I had to give 4 for today’s experience. If there’s a giant order ahead my single bowl mobile order, why not make one in between, rather than turning my order down or saying it’s up to me to leave or wait 10-15 minutes? I’ve already paid for the order and waited that long, and I really prefer not to go through the refund process. Ended up waiting 45 minutes for a small bowl. It would’ve been nice if either limit the catering order with some scheduling system or limit my order beforehand. With the ingredients ready, it took 45 seconds to build my bowl. I understand that it’s not always predictable or feasible, but I hope there’s a better response. Food is tasty as usual.
Tahini is a must-visit spot for anyone who loves delicious Mediterranean food and top-notch service. The dishes are bursting with flavour, and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Highly recommend!
We have been wanting to try Tahini's for a while we are a big fan of Shelby's usually but heard very good things so thought we'd give it a shot.
We ordered from Uber Eats and food arrived correctly and packaged really well. Sturdy and large bowls, wrap was secure, not crazy on the fries they came in a wax bag.
I thought it was weird that if you get a meal they make you get a Pepsi haha not a big fan of Pepsi so ordered the wrap and fries as individual items.
My boyfriend got the Chicken Shawarma Poutine and he said it was way better than Shelby's. They don't charge extra for cheese curds and they are very generous on sauce and gravy. Good portion! And lots of choices for additional toppings.
I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Wrap, I really liked it! Very fresh, flavourful, so good if you love pickles. I thought it tasted fresher than Shelby's but I really love them both. I also really like that you can choose a size of wrap if you're more/or less hungry.
The fries were not good. I do not recommend if you love fries as much as I do! So so dry, no salt, no seasoning just plain plain fries. You need sauce for these otherwise have a drink handy. Shelby's fries are so so much better. They have a seasoning that is just so flavourful.
Pretty good! I would order again just not fries unless it was a poutine, I would most likely go for a bowl next time since they have a ton of amazing options.
I recently visited Tahini and had an amazing experience! The food was excellent - tasty and flavorful. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. I also want to give a shoutout to the servers who were incredibly friendly and helpful. As a first-time customer, I was a bit confused about what to order, but they patiently walked me through the menu and offered their recommendations. Overall, I had a fantastic time at Tahini and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious and affordable Mediterranean cuisine!
Ordered at Falefal, it was absolutely disgusting. You don't have the option to increase spicy level. They prepare the food as if they are doing a favour to us. Really unhappy
I asked for the butter chicken wrap for dinner and a white guy who was speaking Italian made a wrap which was surely not butter chicken wrap. It was shawarma original but that’s it… I have ordered the butter chicken wrap previously as well and it was actually the butter chicken wrap… May be they should train their staff well who can make the right food…it was waste of my money tonight for dinner
I come here most of the time after the gym. It’s a great place to get in my macros and tastes delicious. Would highly recommend for someone who hasn’t had a good shawarma before.
Well the customer service is good, he made fresh flafel for me.however I asked for extra spicy sauce which he did not add for sure. Also, don't just give five star for free mango juice or Soup it is pathetic and you will throw it after 1 sip.
I used to come here pretty often but I feel the food is inconsistent. Today I bought their mango juice but it's dialuted and doesn't taste like the real thing.
Terrible customer service. Ordered skip the dishes, and the food was stone cold. The food was poorer quality and ingredients were left off my order. I called the store, but they were of no help resolving the issue.
My go to spot every time I visit London! Food is always fresh and the staff is delightful. Will see you very soon for a chicken shawarma bowl and Mediterranean fries: D
Just have my first Tahini's experience yesterday - Amazing food - Amazing Service - The menu boards shut down mid way while I am looking at it but overall pleasant experience. Great Job.
I have always been happy with our chicken shawarma, but tonight they were short handed I guess, so a long wait. My son usually picks up our order, but now you have to pick original or old school, the original had about half the meat we usually have and even thou I asked him if he put tahini sauce on, there was none. Very rushed and no consideration for my order, if I could have heard the girl I ordered from that would have helped, but the music was blaring. Now that the students are back, to heck with us seniors.
Not only did none of my shawarma's come out to order, one of them had carrots inside? !? !? CARROTS? !? Upon further inspection it seems the employee couldn't be bothered to actually read the order slip, and just grabbed a scoop of the soggy salad from the container and slapped it in the wrap and called it a day.carrots man, carrots in the shawarma.
The food was delicious. Top notch place to get great tasting shawarma. I just had the Tahini's special (chicken shawarma) and also Shawarma & Rice (chicken shawarma). The sauces are really good too.
I have been here before a couple years ago and was impressed (as I typically frequent the downtown location). Today I was disappointed. The shawarma was too oily and didn't taste as good; oil running down it continuously. Also the falafel was packaged without the dipping sauce that the menu stated.
Overpriced for what it is. I got a medium beef shawarma which was over $11 on its own. It was quite small and full of fat and grizzle. If you want a great shawarma place check out Dooly’s at highbury and huron.
Great place for a chicken shawarma. One of the best in London. Lots of food, good prices. Clean restaurant. Sauces and chicken had amazing flavors. Definitely a must try if you like shawarma.
Decided to grab some dinner from here tonight, and it was a huge disappointment. My $15 Maya salad was nothing more than some lettuce topped with chicken. No hummus, no garlic sauce, no cabbage, tahini, hot sauce. And a single cherry tomato. Habanero shawarma was a little better, but lacked flavour and was simply overpowered by spice.
This place is always amazing. The staff puts in 200% effort and it's obvious. I come here almost every week so I wasn't inclined to leave a review out of a weird feeling of familiarity, but tonight in particular impressed me. It was slammed and I had a simple order that took a while, you could tell that the employees were apologetic and doing their best despite being incredibly busy, and were kind, communicative, and still super fast despite the line. Better yet, when I got home and unwrapped my falafel wrap, it might be the best one I've had yet! There was an extra portion of all of my favorite toppings (I don't think they knew, but still) and I could tell that someone had really put in the effort to make it great. I wouldn't say I was frustrated with the wait, but I did have a class that was giving me some anxiety to get to (which I communicated because I had to step outside momentarily, which I'm sure didn't help their feelings of pressure for time), so when I saw the effort that was made, however minor in the grand scheme of life, it still made my day. Needless to say, go here - it's healthy, filling, and the staff really do their best. If you ever go when that isn't the case, I say that it's a fluke, and to try again. I've had far too many exceptional experiences to say that it isn't worth it. It really, really is!
Great food! I definitely recommended this location over downtown. After multiple experiences with both I will not be returning to the Richmond location. Thanks to this location for always serving great food and being kind and respectful to your customers.
Fell in love with a maya salad - when ordering in store it is super easier to adjust what item you want on your salad - ordering from 3rd party, Uber etc.it is a little harder to get your order to match your dinner. *still tastes wonderful
I'm not sure if this place just opened but it was very chaotic. I felt bad for the 3 employees working because they all seemed like they had just started working there and they were going in circles trying to fill orders. The food was not good. I'd be interested to see what it would be like with experienced employees who didn't seem overwhelmed because the menu looks like it should be a good place to eat.
When we first arrived and looking at the menu the prices seemed a bit steep but I really wanted it so we ordered.omg! We had food for two days! And it was so incredibly good. Highly recommend!
Went there for the first time and ordered a fattoush salad and was so disappointed.no crispy pita which is the namesake of the salad.several hard core inedible ends of romaine, no tomatoes, 2 small pieces of radish, no taste to the dressing, not the slightest hint of lemon or sumac, the signature flavors for fattoush
I also ordered falafals and they too were bland, ok but just no flavour to make me order them again
Absolutely a treat to be at this location; their platters and food was fantastic; We had our team of managers meet at the location for a working lunch; Definitely will visit again ; many thanks for a fantastic choice of food selection - Atul
Best shawarma in the city and amazing service. They confused my skip the dishes order and brought me something else. They then personally delivered my order free or charge and refunded me the money. This is my go to place to go!
