It's ok to have one small rock in the food sometimes, but not the whole wrap. Literally, every bite had a small crunch feom stones or sand. Not sure what the issue was.
First time and unfortunately the last time. I ordered a medium Chicken Wrap and said they can include all toppings but ensure nothing hot or hot sauce. First bite and the wrap has so much hot sauce it’s inedible.
Worst shawarma I have ever had, got a falafel wrap for takeaway it was completely dry, no sauce no dressing in it, the tortilla wrap was stretchy like a plastic and even got a chicken bowl that had no flavours even though we asked spicy, instead of sauce it felt like mayo was added. Came to Tahini’s with a lot of expectation and I actually came to know from the YouTube page but I won’t come here ever. Totally waste of money and food. Moreover on the counter top it showed a $5 off on the first order if the app is downloaded but that was not given. Seriously a very bad and poor experience.
The first thing that caught my attention was the generous portion size of the shawarma wrap, which was definitely worth the price you paid. It's always satisfying to feel like you're getting a good deal. Now, let's talk about the sauces. The garlic sauce at this shop was simply perfection, adding a creamy and flavorful element to the wrap. The pomegranate sauce, while good, must have provided a unique and tangy twist to the overall taste experience. It's impressive to hear that even after a 15-minute ride home, the shawarma wrap remained nice and warm. This demonstrates the shop's commitment to ensuring that their customers enjoy their food at its best, regardless of the journey. Lastly, the meat in the shawarma wrap was seasoned to perfection, adding a burst of savory flavors with each bite. It's evident that the shop takes great care in preparing their shawarma wraps with attention to detail. Overall, your experience seems to have been exceptional, with a bigger-sized “ medium size “ wrap, delicious sauces, warm serving, and expertly seasoned meat. I'm confident that others looking for a delightful shawarma experience will thoroughly enjoy visiting this shop.
Over hyped.the brown dude that works there can't make shawarma for beans it is not even that great gyro was tasteless the guy could.not even warp shawrama the pita bed was ripped honest bad experience
Amazing food and amazing service. Best Chicken Shawarma sandwich in i have ever had. I am from Michigan which is home to millions of Arabs but chick shawrma sandwich at Tahini in Saj bread beats any shawarma wrap in Michigan. Location was very clean and the owner was super friendly.
After every busy work day, I can only think of 1 place to eat, it's Tahinis! I always meet Jaspreet at front desk and always her service, her greetings are amazing.recommended to have best shawarma in the city.
Came here after the airport for a quick bite, and would definitely come back! Staff was extremely helpful when deciding what we wanted to eat, and were even willing to give us a little extra sauce on our bowls. Great place!
These were mediocre shawarmas, certainly not the best I've had in Toronto. The most they've got going for them is their size to cost ratio. Flavour and spicing of shawarmas and filafals was bland, generic and tasteless. They also somehow managed to mess up my simple order, so none of the veggie toppings I asked for and it was basically just a ton of bland chicken and bread.
Kids are obsessed! Butter chicken wrap, jerk chicken wrap with the spicy fries are amazing. Beef samosas are a hit too. A must try for sure. Service is amazing too. Drive so far to come here just because my kids are always craving it.
Visited the Islington Tahinis Restaurant today. Wanna say IT WAS AMAZING! Tried the Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wrap for the first time. All I can say is that it was the best ever Wrap I had. I have tried other Shawarma places too but Tahinis is “The Best Shawarma Place”. Nitish was very helpful. He suggested what we should try and also he told us to leave everything to him and he made the most mouth watering shawarma we ever had. Thanks Nitish
Verry Good Custmor Service, Clean Restaurant And Understandable Team, Always Delicious Foood Verry Welcome And Quick Service Specially OJASWINI and Her boss Morning Shift
Food looks good but feel like I was cheated. I ordered 2 Butter Chicken wraps. A small and medium wrap.
But when i saw the employee make my sandwich I was confused. The wrap sizes were different but the meat quantity for a medium and small wrap are the same.
Seems like I just paid a few bucks extra for a bigger naan which I'm disappointed of. Hence the reason of my 2 stars.
The portion sizes are good and the food is tasty. I would try different toppings next time. I went with something standard or traditional, but the menu seems to have decent variety and some modern options too.
I'm actually surprised this place is a 4.6 out of 5, that's why I ordered from here. I got the tahini's special which had chicken shawarma and rice, but I found the dish to be majority sauces and bread. The sauces had good flavour don't get me wrong but there was barely any chicken/ rice. It comes with a giant side of turnips and pickles it's just overkill and salty. I highly suggest including some fresh veggies in there and more meat. The flavour was just okay. Overrated at it's finest.
They have friendly staff, the food’s really good with amazing presentation and taste. The overall ambiance of the place is nice and good place to hangout and grab food.
I've ordered here several times and always had a good experience. The food is delicious and fresh. The customer service is amazing. Servers are helpful and accommodating. My fav is the Jamaican jerl bowl!
Really good service and surprisingly very delicious food. I’m hard to impress when it comes to good middle eastern restaurants but this one really impressed me and set the bar high for competition. Highly recommended!
I went to Tahini's restaurant last evening with my family. The ambience, food and service are all outstanding. The staff is knowledgeable and well-trained to make the food experience of their visitors an enjoyable one. They have a wide variety of items, and serve scrumptious meals. We enjoyed the wraps and rice bowls thoroughly, and are looking forward to visiting them again!
This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly.making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good.
I’ve been looking for the right garlic sauce for a shawarma platter for awhile coming from the Ottawa area I miss the garlic paste/sauce that Toronto desperately doesn’t have. Tahini’s has this and I’m thoroughly enjoyed my mixed platter.
We tried this restaurant for the first time, and the staff was super helpful and polite with giving suggestions as per our preference. The menu is vast and very good with prices and quality. The place is clean and maintained.
Great quality, super fresh, the bread is so crispy and soft and the chicken is flavorful not dry! Very very good chicken shawarma! I will add photos next time. I ate my food too quickly
The food was amazing super tasty I ordered two shawarmas I love there wrap it was flaky different I also ordered the messy fries with feta also different from anywhere else the flavours were amazing not your regular shawarma joint finally some flavour in such a boring plaza! Thanks again to the staff everything was perfect
New restaurant I think, but they always go above and beyond. You'd think they'd been around for 25 years. The only downside is they forgot my drinks today when i ordered with Skip. Other than that they always serve high quantity delicious foods.
We had their large falafel wrap and it was good. The falafels were fresh and nice green color. My only complaint is that there weren’t enough veggies in the wrap. There was overwhelmingly amount of pita bread in each bite which made it taste drier since there weren’t more tomatoes or lettuce. Apart from that, good falafels.
Raman is the first face I saw. She's very friendly and helpful. I didn't know what to choose as it was my first time. She was patient and explained the dishes. Nice and clean space. The selection was a great variety. Delicious food, must try. I had lentil soup and Mediterranean fries.
Wasn't ready for the Explosion of flavor from the Chicken Shawarma Poutine, I added beef bacon and but it was the fries that takes the cake.well seasoned.
The Habibi Bowl (Chicken Shawarma) is loaded with fresh ingredients, great portions. Also seasoned properly. Expect to see me back, because your in the neighborhood.
Very tasty food, fresh, perfect seasoning. We had kefta, chicken and falalel on rice, everything was just great, the falafel are crunchy but not dry at all. Hope they will open more locations closer to Toronto!
The employees were really helpful and made ordering really easy. I ordered 5 shawarmas. All of them had a lot of flavour. Best part of the shawarma was their pita bread. Homemade and cook to perfection. They have a great garlic and tahini sauce. On top of that, it’s halal! Definitely will be coming back here.
