Tahini's

I would like to thank the lady at the counter today for fixing my order. I ordered in skip the dishes the day before and had only requested for garlic sauce on my shawarma wrap. I requested for extra sauce cause it was the only sauce I wanted.
What I got was a large dry wrap, I couldn't finish it cause it was so dry.
I took it back and explained to the lady and she replaced it with a juicer one. Thank you

They were not prepared for the Shawarma deal on October 15th. Took over an hour to get order.

The middle aged lady in hijab has no manners. She yells at her staff and the customers. The server was just doing his job and she started to get mad at him. Such nasty attitude. I never want to go back to listen to her nonsense. The food is okay but paired with the price and terrible customer service = not worth it. Students from college continue to go there because its close, otherwise nothing special.

We have eaten in plenty of Shawarma places but I must say Tahini's restaurant at Simcoe Street Eatery in Oshawa puts the other places to shame. Hands down the best Shawarma. The staff is awesome and I believe the owner she comes personally to find out if the food was done right and believe me every single time 100% the best. She is amazing. The food delicious actually more than delicious. You know how KFC's slogan is. "It's Finger Lickin' Good. " It actually should be Tahini's restaurant slogan, it's that awesome. The Shawarma was packed to the brim with all the goodies and everything else.
We have been there 3 times already and will keep continuing to go. Excellent customer service, excellent food and definitely will tell our family and friends about Tahini's at this location. Got our vote for 100%. Thank you Tahini restaurant (2061 Simcoe St N, Oshawa).

One of the best shawarma places going around. Always fresh and large portions. Definitely recommend!

Good food, fair prices. Lots of seating, but found lots of flies in the entire building. Should install a bug zapper. Too bright and too loud for my liking.

Beware they serve burnt chicken and big huge chunks of chicken meat. I guess its not how the shawarma meat is (tender and thinly sliced). Absolute degraded in terms of meat quality and taste. Too bland. I do not recommend this franchise location

Ordered falafel bowl, which taste good. Fast service. The restaurant is inside the Simcoe Street Eatery together with Church's Texas Chicken, and Sbarro.

Need to increase their taste for falafel wrap, the falafel was not crispy nor there is any proper sauce for taste but chicken shawarma was good

Food was excellent but the extremely rude behaviour of a Bangladeshi lady with Hijab was a turn off. She should be properly trained to behave equally with customers of different race. Her behaviour varied based on the color of skin. She was nice with the last person. As soon as I walked in to order, she started to misbehave. She was in an attacking mode from the get go as if I had done something horribly wrong. I asked for a Butter chicken bowl, she did not hear my order and accused me of confusing her in a very rude manner and said “DONT CONFUSE ME”. I said “sorry, probably for the loud music, you did not hear me. ” I reiterated my order that I wanted a butter chicken bowl. She did not say it’s ok or anything and instead gave me an annoying look and went back to making the order. There were forks and napkins on the counter. When she was in process of bringing food, I thought it was selfserve and got a fork and napkin for myself. She came and removed the cutlery tray away from me and in a raised voice said, DONT TOUCH. This tray is not to be touched. I was humiliated in front of other guests. So, I told her back in her same level of voice that, is there any label that says I cannot take a fork and it is not for customers? “If it is for store use only, why you put this on the front counter? She goes, DONT Raise your voice. I said you learn basic customer service first. And the in native language, I told her, “BEADOB MOHILA”, meaning uncivilized woman. She started to yell at me in Bangla and I left. I will update her name when I know her name. I should have asked for her manager but I did not. I never felt this disrespected to this level. I just came back from work, I was very tired and I was wearing my home clothes. Probably she thought I could be disrespected for my homeless look.

Ordered a Blueberry flame shawarma and rice and chicken salad bowl - chicken tasted stale in both the orders and the wrap had an overdose of the sauce.

First time we tried this place, won’t be returning.

I’ve had it many times before and had good experience but lately the staff is changed and they have the rudest and the worst experience. The lady in hijab needs classes in how to talk to customer. Also the bowl used to have good quantity but now it’s not even sufficient for a single person. Never coming again.

Myself along with my second half went for dinner today, we order a platter for two, the quantity was ample, even three can eat, the food was not bad, the staff was very nice and humble, for sure we will recommend our friends and families to try the food.

Saida Khanam the Restaurant Manager at this location was quite helpful and very knowledgeable. She was so good witj kids. She is a gem. She catered us so well, 5 star service. This place is 20 mins away but will I only come here for my shawarma and Falafel bowl. Thank you, Saida!
