Tahini's Shawarma

By far the worst fast food take out I have ever expereinced in Keswick. I’d rather go to McDonald’s than eat here. I got myself a butter chicken bowl which had hardly anything in it. The chicken tasted mushy that I had to throw it out. My brother got a shawarma wrap and was mushy and horrible tasting. Worst shawarma wrap he’s ever had. I came to this location because I tried the one in Richmond hill which was bang on and the food portion was much more and actually tasted good. It’s sad that I had to experience this, will never be coming back to this location ever again.

Chicken Shawarma is better at YALLA. I asked for rice in my shawarma and it was Indian spiced rice.why?

With a three new shawarma places in town, we had to try them all - and we have to say Tahini's is the best! Great service, fresh and delicious food, and fantastic variety! Everything is delicious, but we really love the messy fries for a guilty treat! Chicken shawarma wraps are awesome too!

Owner was great! We ordered fries and they were too spicy for my kids so he made us a fresh order N/C without any spice. Great guy/service and great shawarma! Will definitely go back!

Pretty disgusting food. You could literally smell the stink of old sauces/ yogurt. Rice were cold and definitely a day or two old. Chicken was dry and bland. Not to mention the stink. Spent $50 and literally couldn’t eat at all and all the food went straight to trash. Portion sizes are surprisingly very small. To top it off the service was horrendous. Cashiers were literally yawning and not wanting to answer any questions. I am not making any of this up or exaggerating it. Even the plastic bag they gave the boxes in was crinkled hence previously used. Honestly save your money and most importantly health and avoid at all costs.

Ok.as a person that just came back from a vacation in the Middle East, the food is good here but not extraordinary. I understand its called fusion but really is nothing fusiony except for the prices which are totally out of this world. I understand the concepts of relative economies but the material costs for making a @$20 falafel wrap is less than $1. A similar sandwich in Egypt would cost less than $0.5 and be super fresh and far tastier. When this falafel wrap costs as much as a steak, something is seriously wrong.
If you can afford it.go for it.

Pleasantly surprised by the how fresh and tasty everything was. Place is clean and looks like they are actually using their meat spit.

Couple of misses though. Falafel was overcooked and very greasy and the Samosas while tasty, are tiny. Also forgot to put fries in my chicken shawarma which I was looking forward to.

If they can keep this up, I will definitely be back.

Food is good. Nothing special from other places that serve similar food. The first time we went the cashier was awful. The next time service was better. The garlic dip with pita is yummy.

We tried here today and it was so good! Excited to have another good place to order food from in town. I’m vegetarian so great to have more options. We will definitely be back!

Best Shawarma in York Region! I’ve had their Shwarma Wrap, Arabian Bites (In 1st pic), Small Messy Shawarma Fries (in picture - even small size is filling), Falafel, Dinner Plates & Salad and they were all amazing! The staff were also so welcoming and friendly! They told me more about the neighborhood as I’m moving their soon!

This is our first time trying this restaurant in Keswick and we are absolutely amazed! The food is extremely delicious, the price is fair and the service is amazing.very clean and modern…will definitely come again!

We’ve had the shawarma wrap, the butter chicken wrap, the shawarma bowl, the baconizer, the Arabian bites and messy fries. Can you tell we love Tahinis? We’ve been numerous times - fast and friendly service, fresh and flavourful food. So happy they’ve come to Keswick!

Ordered the shawarma poutine. It seem to had good flavour however it was extremely unenjoyable as it was DRENCHED in gravy. I would add a pic but it appears to be disabled or not permitted when leaving a review. There was also little to no fries.perhaps that’s the reason for all the gravy? To mask the fact there’s no fries and make bowl look full? I’ve been to other locations and this was never the case… very disappointed

Omg.soo good. I had never heard of Tahini's so thought I would try it when I saw the new store in Keswick. Sooooo good! I did the falafel plate - substituted rice for salad (glad I did!) The falafels were the best I've ever had (even better than my own!) I didn't like the pickles so will skip next time but loved the purple cabbage. I got 2 whole pita bread - too much. I think 1 would suffice. I think crunchy pita chips would go best with the hummus you get.
I also ordered 2 veggie samosa.typical but good.

Great shawarma joint — good portions with lots of options! I ordered via skip the dishes and everything came in a timely manner, great presentation & perfect temp
