I just finished a three-day trip to Quebec. The tour guide Carrie is very, very, very good. She will explain in detail during the journey. She is super patient and answers every question. She is very serious and responsible in her work and takes care of everyone at all times, even if she encounters someone who is not obedient. Our tour guide, Ben, was absolutely fantastic during the 8-day romantic Europe tour. His extensive knowledge of the city enriched our journey with intriguing facts and insights. What truly sets Ben apart is his genuine care for the group's well-being, ensuring our safety and comfort throughout the tour.

For instance, he consistently reminded us to keep our bags in front of us, especially in bustling areas, to guard against pickpockets. Ben's dedication to our safety was further exemplified during a peculiar incident on our way to the Arc de Triomphe. There was an unexpected obstacle on the path - a large piece of feces. Without hesitation, Ben stepped forward, using his flag to guide us safely around it.

Moreover, Ben went above and beyond to create memorable moments for our group. He initiated family photos at every destination, offering creative posing ideas that made our travel experience even more special.

Lastly, Ben's assistance with handling our luggage during loading and unloading at hotels demonstrated his dedication to ensuring a smooth and stress-free journey. It is without reservation that I rate Ben as excellent in both tour knowledge and helpfulness.

Jack was a very kind, and energetic guide and he had excellent knowledge about the places we went to.

Although, my complaint is that the tour felt like a movie being played on fast forward. I am aware of the fact that we had a lot of places to cover in a short time, but this was more of a training camp for us rather than a vacation.
Every stop was rushed, whether it was a sightseeing location or a washroom break. For many of us, this will be the only time we would ever visit this country and all these places, hence it seemed unfair for the amount we have paid.

Even about the food, most of the places that were arranged by the tour didn’t have a lot of options for people with a certain diet restriction (vegetaria). It would have been better to choose those places where options are available other than what was offered by the tour and the tour themselves should have offered options at every location. The guide didn’t even ask or try and help for offering options of those who didn’t take the tour meals.

We appreciate the places we covered, but it could have been less stressful and we would have liked it more if it would have been made more like a holiday rather than rushing us all the time these 3days.

Me and my family have been a fan of Tai Pan Tours, Canada and US tours we already had been; but this time we tried the Europe tour. (8/25/2023 Group with Daniel To). It was a fantastic experience, well organized and Daniel, our tour guide was awesome, very patient, organized, helpful and always on time. Loved the experience. Will plan for more tours with them.

I recently had the pleasure of taking a trip to Cuba with Tiffany, a tour guide for Taipan, and I must say that it was an absolutely amazing experience. Tiffany was an outstanding guide who went above and beyond to make sure that our trip was a success. Her knowledge of the country and its culture was exceptional, and she was able to convey this to us in a way that was both interesting and informative. She took us to some of the most beautiful and historically significant places in the country, and her passion for the country was truly infectious.

What impressed me the most about Tiffany was her ability to connect with each member of our group on a personal level. She was patient and kind, and took the time to ensure that everyone was comfortable and having a great time. Her attention to detail was also impressive - from arranging transportation and accommodations, to ensuring that we had plenty of opportunities to try the local cuisine, she thought of everything. Overall, I would highly recommend Tiffany as a tour guide for anyone interested in exploring Cuba. She truly exceeded all of my expectations, and I cannot thank her enough for making our trip such a memorable one.

Hey Tai Pan, we went to Kingston, Ottawa, Montreal & Quebec. It was one of my wonderful experiences. Our driver Sharma and Daniel worked above and beyond. Driver drove very safely and with proper skills through all this bad weather, honesty we were thinking it might cancel or we would not have made it. This holiday I had a good time in Cuba. Tai Pan Tours helped us organized the itinerary well. The tour guide Daniel To is very experienced and conscientious. He is reliable and supportive. I’d like to highly recommend him.

It was not an ordinary trip to Cuba. We met with more than 30 hours of flight delay due to snow storm in Toronto, followed by mismanagement of Sunwing airline (we were “champion, ” in the sense that other flights were delayed for a few hours or at most 10 hours this time, but we had over 30 hours without any explanation from the airline). What was more ridiculous was that Sunwing never intended to send the luggage to us. All the luggage for the tour was kept at the warehouse at Pearson airport Toronto for us to pick up.

Ok, it’s not a complaint letter. Instead, it’s a compliment to our lovely and supportive guide Daniel To. You can imagine how desperate and exhausted our tour members were. Having missed the special dinners and events on Xmas eve and Xmas night at the hotel in Cuba, we arrived on December 26 early morning. How could we cheer up? Daniel was also the victim; he didn’t get his clothes and medicine …. Nothing. However, due to his responsibility and, more importantly, his personality, he kept talking positively, giving us hope and energy. Moreover, it was a big challenge for him to rearrange the itinerary of 8 days tour cutting it down to 6 days, with the first day (December 26) that all of us had to take a full day rest. He did it! We didn’t miss any daytime program (of course, we missed our free time to swim and enjoy ourselves in the hotel). He put together the activities nicely, with time for us to buy our stuff for urgent use.

His knowledge about Cuba is super, from history to economy, and even which cats in what restaurants were waiting for his pet food. Daniel is warm-hearted; right from the tea gathering, he reminded us to bring some resources to the children in Cuba (though we couldn’t this time as the candies were in the never coming luggage). He is a professional tour guide with empathy. You can meet many nice tour guides, for sure. Still, it’s not easy to meet a person like him, particularly under such an adverse situation, keeping positive energy and helping others to go into positive mode. Thanks, Daniel!

By the way, Tai Pan Tour will help us fight for fair and reasonable feedback and compensation from Sunwing. Sunwing refuses to respond to individual claims after December 18 (according to its website). Thanks Daniel and his colleague, for coordinating (and at least passing our requests and claims) to Sunwing.

Taipan tours cancelled the 3 day east canada tour 2 days before the tour. They said not enough people. Coming from New Zealand and hoping to have a well organized holiday, a very short notice is really not good enough. They could have ring me or emailed 2 weeks at least so We can plan for an alternative holiday plan. When I rang them and ask for our full refund, the guy couldn't even tell me when I could get my money back. Not good enough, they could have done better. Very frustrating and dissapointing.

They’re good for the most part. Pocket friendly, quick tours. They could be slightly better in terms of responsiveness and proactive communication. The hotels they choose are decent, but there’s room for improvement in terms of the service. All in all, not too bad.
