Taka Japanese Sushi and Thai Food Restaurant

I was a little disappointed in some of my roles as every time I've ever gone there they've never had avocado in them that's why I order them as a don't enjoy avocado and three out of the four rolles I ordered today that usually come with cucumber had no cucumber but had a big chunk of avocado not a big deal for some but I was really disappointed having to pick out avocado from my $80 sushi order

Amazing food.hot, fresh, and delivered fast! The sushi is so good! The staff are attentive and friendly! Always enjoy going here and filling up lol

I like this place. Up until now I didn't bother with it, all due to them not changing how the exterior still looks like a Montana's. I went here for take out, I care about the service and food, not esthetic. The food here is good, I ordered, a California roll, chicken teriyaki (which came with miso soup, and small salad), and beef fried rice. Chicken teriyaki was really good (carrots, asparagus, onion, mushrooms). Beef fried rice and California roll, both good. The thing to understand is this is a sushi restaurant, so it's a little light on dishes, but they have a decent amount of options when it comes to non sushi items. The staff are really nice, helpful, and service is great. The restaurant is fairly busy and popular, check them out.

When you walk in it clearly states any uneaten sushi with the all you can eat will be charged regular price but beware they do ot with all the food. Bad advertising! Very unorganized service. We were told to order everything at once. Don't do that! They served us ice cream first. Go to mandarin were their business is in order

Food comes out extremely quick. You use an iPad to order what you want, which makes it easy since there is photos of everything.
If you go during dinner time it's cost more, however there are more items on the menu. Sometimes you order an item and it just won't come, we asked one of the people who bring the food to the table and they just play dumb and keep saying it's coming. (These are the "dinner" items that essentially you pay more to have) this isn't always the case but it's happened to me the last couple times I've been there.

It's great. It's an old Montanas, so the vibe is more yee-haw rather than zen, but I dig it.

This is my FAVORITE sushi place! I love how easy it is and it is a pretty good value! It is a but more expensive on the weekends but still worth it. Great food!

Great food, and lots of it! Atmosphere is not what you would expect for Japanese style, as it is an old Montana's and a bit Rustic. Service is excellent and fast but don't expect conversation.

The food was good, and it was a fun experience ordering from the tablet. But the service was terrible. We had one waitress who was very friendly, but everyone else just dropped the food at our table and didn’t even make eye contact. The place itself is very dirty. Doesn’t look like it’s ever been cleaned. Which definitely makes it less enjoyable. Wish they would take care of the place more, because the experience is fun!

The waitress took forever to bring our drinks out after we ordered our food off the tablet for the all you can eat sushi. Then our food starting coming out slowly. They never brought out all of our food / sushi. Some random waitress came up to our table when he way taking away our dirty dishes he goes your not going to get the rest of your food until you guys finish everything off that’s left on your table and he was yelling out loud. They made us pay our bill and told us to leave after we asked where is the rest of our sushi. I never was treated like this in my life at any restaurant.

Service was good. Ordered take out which was out quicker then the 25 minutes i was told. That should have been my first clue food was prepared too fast the noodles had no flavour no salt just bland. The calamari tempura was the worst I’ve ever had, so rubbery, not crunchy like you would expect with tempura. The only thing they got right was the Japanese spring rolls, they were delish! Will not be going there again that’s for sure, very disappointed!

Food is delicious and comes out in a timely manner. Service was pretty good. If you're looking for a good all you can eat restaurant this is a solid choice.

Very good and fresh food. Sushi and Sashimi are awesome. Service is fast and staff are friendly.

Good food and good prices. Fast and fair. It is a nice building other than the outside landscaping that's gotten overgrown. It's one of my top 3 for all you can eat.

Server and manager refused to allow to one member in the group to order off the menu and wanted them to do all you can eat only. Would never recommend this establishment, as you seem to only be able to order all you can eat or nothing regardless of allergies or food preferences. Table of 7 left because they would not accommodate 1 person when restaurant was not busy

Friendly staff. It wasn't crowded when we were there which i liked. The food is good, presentef well.

Look no further for all you can east sushi meal that is just a few minutes from the border with Detroit, Michigan, if you want a quick and delicious AYCE. One of the many benefits of visiting this secret gem is the incredibly freakishly quick service. The staff goes above and above to make you feel welcome as soon as you enter and is really nice.

All the order is done off the tablet which is superb with detailed description and imagery of each item, this makes the experience the best because you know what you are ordering!

The menu is incredibly enormous and offers a vast variety of sushi, sashimi, drinks, and desserts. You're bound to find something you like here, whether you're in the mood for something light and energizing or something a little more meaty. Additionally, considering the variety, the pricing is surprisingly reasonable.

Although the restaurant is frequently busy, it is unquestionably underrated. Even when it's busiest, you won't feel packed or confined because of the excellent seating. However, the bathrooms simply need to be modernized. Despite the excellent cuisine and service, the restrooms might use a little updating.

Overall, this restaurant is a fantastic option for anyone seeking quick, delectable meals in a cozy and pleasant setting. The collection is vast, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly. Although the restrooms could use some updating, it's a small complaint in what would otherwise be a fantastic dining experience. So be sure to check it out if you're nearby and searching for a delicious supper.

Washrooms dirty and even with the many plug in fresheners there was a moldy smell. The food was sub pare for the price. The tablet to order on was very dirty. Don't waste your time or money.
