Taking IT Mobile Data Recovery Toronto

I owe many thanks to Bob and the techs at Taking IT Mobile. They were able to recover virtually all the data from a laptop hard drive that crashed unexpectedly recently with some important photos and files that had not yet been backed up. Their service was fast and professional, and was much appreciated! I am so relieved to see photos again that I feared had been lost forever. Hopefully I will not require their services again myself anytime in the near future, but now I know who I can recommend!

There's a certain sinking feeling one gets when suddenly they lose all their data with no warning. Gut wrenching. See, I write a lot. From school work to heavy philosophy and psychology content, short stories, screen plays.heck, one would think I would back it all up, but I didn't.

My brother (computer wiz) came over, took out the SSD from my Acer Predator Helios 300 which the day before crashed, LED battery lights were not turning on, no warning signs, nada. And so, my brother took out the SSD, found out it wasn't connected to the motherboard which is a good sign.that was until BIOS didn't detect it. He called Bob and his team at Taking IT Mobile.

Within 45 minutes, Bob was at my door to pick up the SSD. Later that day, I got an email with updates saying there was some damage, but that the techs feel there's a good chance at recovery. 2 days later, Bob shows up with all the data recovered. Years of critical work (work that I hope one day could change the world) has been restored. Huge thank you to Avi, the technician, and to Bob and his team.

My experience working with this company was less than satisfactory!
After paying over 1000 dollars for "two" failed attempts and listening to endless excuses, the data returned to me was completely useless. It is a big mess with no structure. The files are all over the place, half of them are just temp files.
I do not recommend them and I suggest strongly to stay away from them.

Have been using this company about 8-9 years now for my own business. Bob and staff have always have gone above and beyond to get whatever storage media picked up, diagnosed and recover lost data (if possible), I have and will continue to refer them! I'm extremely grateful that such a business exists which still has old school values such as integrity, honesty and high moral values for their customers!

While I was working on a photo book based on a trip of a lifetime with my Dad, my hard drive stopped. And of course, I did not back up the pictures. I was referred to Taking IT and Bob called me immediately to walk me through all my options. Communication was constant and timely and I was kept up to date thorough out the process. I had an old "my passport" that stopped working. I brought it to a local recovery guy and he referred me to Bob as it seemed that it was an internal piece that broke. Bob called me for a free estimate and gave me a very detailed idea of what he thought was wrong with the hard drive (he hadn't seen it yet) he took his time to explain it to me in simple terms which I appreciated because it didn't seem like he was trying to hide any information from me. Once he got the hard drive he sent me another detailed email explaining what was wrong, how to fix it and 3 different options for repair and recovery at different price ranges and time to fix it. After I decided Bob updated me the entire time, from when they received the broken piece to when it seemed they could recover the files. Bob and his team were able to get everything for me! I was ecstatic! The biggest surprise for me is when Bob hand delivered my new external hard drive to my house to ensure that this new hard drive wouldn't be damaged and he gave me good tips to ensure this wouldn't happen again. I can't thank this company enough for what they did to retrieve 100% of the data from our hard drive which our two-year-old pulled off a high table! Our laptop that had every picture we had ever taken our our son, from pregnancy to birth, every birthday, family trip and occasion, and is crashed! I took the hard drive to a local IT and he didnt specialize in data recovery and highly recommended Taking IT mobile. They quickly responded and sent a courier to pick up my hard drive. Let me just say this: the people at Taking IT Mobile are Wizards! Not only does this company have some of the best service I've ever experienced, but they were able to retrieve ALL of the data off a very broken disk which I had assumed to be a lost cause. Furthermore, they did so for a price that was half of what I expected to pay before I went to them! These guys also have some of the fastest service I've ever experienced: after I gave them my disk, it took them a day to get back to me with a preliminary diagnosis and a quote, and then another day to get all the data off and deliver it back to me. The service is made even more incredible by the fact that they actually come to your door to pick up and drop off your broken disk. For my case, the guy who picked up/dropped off my disk was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and he was the one who communicated with me throughout the entire process over phone and email. As soon as any updates occurred, he immediately phoned me to let me know and keep me in the loop. If anyone in the GTA needs a data recovery service, you don't need to look anywhere else.

So stoked! Totally broke my external hard drive with all my family photos from the last 8 years of our life on it. Bob at T. I. M.was able to rescue all of the photos and files! I feel like he returned something more precious than data to me and my family, he was able to restore our memories!

After more than 30+ years of computing at home I had got very sloppy at back-up so panic when several days ago my hard disk crashed. I am beyond pleased with Taking IT Mobile Data Recovery! Second time loyal customer. From friendly and efficient customer service to skilled artisan in data retrieval. They took my external harddrive (slipped and fell about 18") and diligently retrieved exactly the data (folders of raw files) that I needed. Truly a Photographer's life saver! I am so happy they took care of my information with respect. Bypass the big names like Best Buy and you'll be thankful. I trust them entirely. If they can get it, they will. 10/10 recommend!

They even delivered my recovered data - saved to new drive - to my house which is incredibly helpful! (Always remember to additionally pass the professionals a good drive with the correct amount of space for a data transfer.) Even with delivery, the overall service price is still far more affordable than other competitions.

I randomly came across Taking IT mobile, I was in need of a professional to help me move my boot drive information safely to a new drive, the old drive was causing me issues and I was worried if I did it myself I would cause more issues. After reaching Bob and his team by leaving a voicemail to inquire about what they could do, he reached me back promptly and offered to pick up my drive the next day, with the promise to pay only with a recovery I was satisfied with I was hoping it would be successful, and it was, the team had managed 100% recovery with the promise to hold onto everything for a bit of time to ensure that I had zero issues.

It was a large expense finacially for me due to my situation but it was well worth recovering irriplacable data and work that I could have lost. The 1TB external drive I was using for all of my working files decided to stop working one day. I can't remember when the last time I backed-up was! PANIC! When your life is sitting in front of you in a brand name external drive and your laptop top gives you an ‘unable to read drive’ message, your heart sinks because you did NOT do a secondary backup. My external drive crashed while I was trying to back it up to another drive. It had the data and pictures from the last 15 years and I was so stressed and nervous about losing it. How does one describe what it's like to have a broken drive? LOST. Totally lost especially if it has all your business, memories, and entire life on it. One of my hard drives had stopped working and I was in panic mode that years worth of files were gone for good! Searching the internet, 'Taking IT Mobile' was the first company I called. I immediately set up an appointment to meet with Bob. Not having gone through this before, I was very cautious & nervous, but Bob put me at ease.

I was in constant communication during the process, with Bob emailing me updates on the situation. I was told there would be no charge, until they got a recovery that I said was good. A day later, Bob reported that the technicians working on the hard drive got a full recovery! I confirmed to proceed with transferring the recovered files to a new external drive & payment.
