I definitely recommend you to eat They serve the food fresh Be sure to try this Indian cuisine Waiters are very kindThe place is great the food is legendary I'll come again
We had a delightful belated birthday lunch with our family on a Sunday afternoon, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The restaurant was not overly crowded, allowing us to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, and the service provided was exceptional. The cocktails we tried were absolutely outstanding, with "The Bengal Tiger" becoming our personal favorite. Among the various appetizers we ordered, the pani puri shots stood out as a particularly delicious choice, and the presentation of all the dishes was impressively creative. However, I must admit that the curry/main course fell short of my expectations, as it lacked the authentic flavors I was hoping for. Be sure to try this Indian cuisine
Super busy! The atmosphere was so elegant and beautiful.service was confusing no-one is your server there is just everyone running around collecting plates but only had our order taken once and didn't get the chance to order again so asked for our bill, but other then that the food and cocktaiks were amazing recommend the momos and the cauliflower!
Absolutely horrible experience, food quality/service/cleanliness/ very poor. Extremely expensive, small portion size. Took 55 minutes to get the food after ordering. Will never go again…
This a good restaurant as we can guess you can eat here. Looks are good. You can order and eat here with any body. Services will be good I guess thanks.
Good place but food is average, they have open dining options also, weather permitting. Interior ambiance is good but food is ok. Located at a very central location in Mississauga, near offices and apartments
We were able to get a table in short notice which was nice. The food was flavourful and the item we enjoyed the most was the lentil soup.
Now the bad….
The table they sat us at was dirty and in fact the heat radiator beside us had dried up food on it and used up napkin from the previous diners. We had to tell them two times to clean that before they bring our food out.
The service was horrible.
We had to constantly wave the wait staff down for service and when the restaurant got busier I actually had to make a phone call to the restaurant from my table and wave at them while they talked to me on the phone. It still took them 3 mins before they sent someone to our table. Unbelievably bad!
I can’t believe I had to actually make a phone call to the restaurant from my table to get someone to service our table.
This next complaint is a BIG ONE: I asked for some onions and green chilies as I often do at Indian restaurants. This is the first time in my life that a restaurant charged me $3 for tiny bit of onions. Wow!
I complained about that and the wait staff also agreed with me that they should not charge for the onion.
I will never go back to this restaurant for this reason alone.
I hope they get their act together as there are multiple Indian restaurants around Square One and Tamarind too will close down or go out of business like the previous restaurants in the same location.
I know that I am tough in my review but I’m just being honest and expect excellent food and service for what I’m being charged.
Coffee was fresh, the corned beef hash is amazing and homemade, even the toast was good! Oh, and the potato pancakes! Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend! Definitely coming back
Poor Management, the server was completely confused so annoying three servers asking you the same questions. It was birthday feasting and highly recommend the restaurant gave me regret to reserve a table. An overly cooked meal was served. Although three-time I told the manager and server it's my birthday and expecting dessert, to feel better after all awful experience but how cares about it. I disappointed.overpriced, dirty place flies everywhere.
This is the best restaurant for their food.the food is fresh and tasty.their hospitality is praiseworthy.i recommend to come this restaurant and eat here
Previously The Host is now Tamarind. Though it is set up more casually now, the food is great as usual. Loved the Golgappe in shot glasses. One advice, order spicy only if you can handle a ton of spice. Their spicy is the way it is in …
Great Indian food varieties, good ambience and not so loud music. Would always come to this place for their Lunch specials, fritters, masala chai and Punjabi samosa. Special mention to the staff for being courteous' Helpful

Tamarind Modern Indian Bistro is a place where quality is laways waiting to you. *Good Place to eat *Fresh Food *my friends told me to visit them I went there last weekend. Superab, Food is very tasty I want to go there again.
My friend and I are big fans of Indian food and we have tried numerous across the city. We had to order takeout from this location as it was closed due to the COVID-19 situation. It looked really big and well taken care of. The food was beyond amazing and the prices weren’t astronomical.
The food was absolutely delicious! If you love spice this is definitely the place to go. Everything was served fresh and hot. The environment was comfortable, clean and spacious. Great hard working staff!
