Thank you for the awesome food They were able to make the best butter chicken I have ever tasted Very highly recommended AAAAA+±±+ Will definitely be going back to this restaurant again
Been living in Woodstock for almost 4 years and love this place! Butter chicken and Naan are a huge hit with my family and myself! Going tonight to celebrate my son's birthday! Soooo good! Perfect spice level too!
I recently dined at Tandoori Knight, during my trip from the USA to Canada. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly polite and welcoming. The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating a comfortable dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food - it was excellent! The flavors in every dish were authentic and satisfying. I tried a variety of dishes, and each one was a delight. The Tandoori dishes were especially flavorful and well-cooked. I must say, the restaurant lived up to its reputation. The friendly service and top-notch food made it worth the visit. If you're searching for a good Indian restaurant in Woodstock, Tandoori Knight is a definite recommendation.
Was not a pleasant experience. Floor was very sticky felt like if I stood for another 5 minutes I wouldn’t be able to move. Food tasted old and wasn’t good at all made my stomach feel weird. The owner who was in the shop at time was not even dressed properly. Overall definitely will not order / go here again.
I order some naans, chicken vindaloo, and a few vegetable dishes. All the dishes were really yummy (perfect spice level & big portions which I could use for the next day's lunch). The staff was really humble and considerate. The service was really quick and I didn’t have to wait for the food at all. Overall, a great experience. I would for sure recommend the place as a must-visit when you are in Woodstock.
Under new ownership and in my opinion the food has improved. It may not look as it used to look on the inside but we went for the food. No complains at all.
Long hours of waiting for servings. The time they said was still not enough waiting. They still asked us to wait longer. 45 mins ended more than an hour waiting.
You wanna get the whole indian taste and spice? Go visit them! They’ll spice up your day with their amazing and mouth watering food! If you are looking for some place with good interior these guys got it for you!
This is a hidden gem in Woodstock. I ordered Chana masala and chicken tikka masala. The cook has a lot of experience in food. Dal makhani that I ordered is yum yum. Really enjoyed the service and delicious food!
Excellent food but must be prepared to wait for meal as all meals are made per order. Don't expect a smart restaurant but expect great food and friendly staff.
Not sure what happened to this restaurant but it’s the last time I will purchase from there. We pick it up whenever we drive through the area. This time when we got home and sat down to eat and found the food was not what we were used to eating. The butter chicken had a tomato sauce taste and chicken korma had no flavour. We figured the chef must have left and went somewhere else.
It was our first time having Indian food and was told this was a good restaurant to try. And we got into the restaurant they sat us down about 10 minutes later they came back and said would you like water we said OK and then about 20 to 25 minutes later. They brought us menus. There was probably three other tables in the restaurant occupied. Then another 15 minutes to take our order, we received our appetizer, which was delicious and then a lady from the back kitchen came out said you ordered this put it on the table in front of me. I thought it was the mail I ordered. I waited 10 minutes before starting to eat it thanking the other two meals for the other two people that were with me would come out they did not, so I eat that meal. 25 minutes later from receiving my meal, a second meal came out. It was the second guys meal that he ordered. He start eating his right away. The waiter came to us with a printed receipt saying did you guys receive all your order we said no he went through the order and there was four meals on there and we said we didn’t order 4 he kind a looked at us went back to the kitchen 20 minutes later he came out with another meal and said this is my meal so I actually my husband dinner. And then he came out with a fourth one, and I said that we didn’t order that. And he just drops it at the table and walks away. And then at the end of the night, he avoids it off and then puts it on as a different meal so we ended up paying for four meals and it was only three of us.
So as Restaurant rating, I would food taste 4 out of 5 The price 4 out of 5 Service 1 out of 5 Organization 0 out of 5
I am changing my review from 5 years ago as tandoori knight is under new ownership. I will start off that the staff was extremely friendly, but the food tasted absolutely horrible and will not continue to order from here… this is very unfortunate as this was my favourite restaurant.
This review was MADE 5 years ago and does not apply to the new owners (I gave them 5 stars now I barely want to give them 1) —Always love this place! They know me by name! Haha they are so great and always encouraging me to try something different! The food is always so so tasty! They are SO good at being able to change the spice which I love! Thanks y'all keep it up
Tried Lamb Briyani and Tandoori chicken, food was really great and meat was fresh. Customer service was excellent and a special kudos to Kamal for checking often to make sure everything was okay.
Price was reasonable for the quantity and quality.
Will definitely prefer to eat once a week atleast.
Really great food, lamb biryani is amazing. No llbo license, ordered a ceasar drink and could not have one. They said they were working on this. Probably the best Indian food in woodstock!
An excellent little find! We had a delicious butter chicken lunch set with the tastiest chickpeas I’ve ever eaten! Good portion of curry with a very nice amount of chicken. If you’re passing through Woodstock, this is a great stop for lunch or dinner.
Worst food and experience. I would'nt recommend this restaurant. I ordered a curry and it was super ditasteful i went inside to complaint and no one apologised but instead charged me extra money to replace the order. Bad service and experience!
I was disappointed. The staff was friendly, but, the pakora was very salty, I've never had bhaji that looked or tasted like that. Everything looked flattened, refried, over cooked and was pretty greasy. My samosa was tuff and over stuffed. It was unlike any other Indian food I've ever had.not in a good way: (
Food was ok. But how could i eat food without any spoon or fork. Specially, i came here on my shift break time which was spoiled, because, i could not go back.i spent whole shift with hungry stomach.
Even, no tissue or napkins was in pickup order though.
Absolutely amazing every dish had its own distinct flavor. The beef, chicken and lamb was so tender. I would suggest this place to all who enjoy India food.
The food was amazing. We tried dishes that we had never tried before and were all quite impressed with the flavours. We tried some vegetarian dishes and were glad that we did. The service could have been better considering we were the only people dining in the restaurant. But most of the time the service is good. We will definitely be back and I will try to remember to take pictures of the food. But aren't these elephant's beautiful? The lovely decor adds to this fine dining experience.
