Tannery Park

Very impressed with the park and walkway beside the lake - Town of Oakville did an excellent job. Loved thr indigenous information pieces on the rock way and special memorial parkette on the walk.

If you want to enjoy sun rise, sun set, boat riding, memorable evening you must visit according to your own test.

Pretty, but unfortunately there is no access to the water for kayaks, dogs, kids skipping stones or wading. Look, but don’t touch?

What an incredibly beautiful spot my first time here definitely would go back for just a little walk around sit by the water extraordinately clean well kept one of the nicest parkettes I've ever seen

Went to the Tannery Park first. Walked along the Waterfront Trail. The trail is short. The scenery was beautiful, probably more so at the sunsets. A lot of parking spaces. A clean washrooms. Then went to the Lakeside Park. Street parking available. Clean washrooms. The Oakville Lighthouse was significant.

An absolutely great addition to Oakville's water front. Beautiful stroll along this water front path from the bottom of Kerr St to the Marina. Great way to spend a few hours.

Breathtaking, amazing place with marvellous sights, very quiet and great fore picnics, hanging out or dog walking. Recommended

This is a very beautiful park setting and especially the parking is uniquely organized to privilege easy access for handicapped access. Some improvements are requested.

Visited the park on a windy/raining/snowing day. It is still beautiful. The park made me felt like I’m not in a big city anymore. I would definitely go back on sunny days.

One of my fav places to enjoy a sunrise or a sunset. With a coffee or any beverage for that matter in one hand, camera in the other, sitting comfortably on the pier.

Spent an afternoon here, nice place for a picnic and walk around the lake. Open space to kick a ball or throw a frisbee. No play structure for the kids.

Surprise to find this park so well done up, with new concrete walkpath, new stone seawall, even a cute lighthouse:) The landscaping is first class. Makes for a good day out for a stroll or biking along the seawall pathway. Highly recommended.

This is the retired civil engineer who builds these works of art for all to enjoy at Tannery Park.

Good place for a walk during the Summer and Fall. The town of Oakville should light up Tannery Park during the Christmas season it would make it a good place to go with families.

Great place to walk, sit by the water and spend time with friends or family. Plenty of rocks to sit on too. Parking may be scarce.

One of my to parks in Oakville. Nicely spaced out, lots of different seating, good for a walk by the lake, a few differently designed shores to enjoy the lake. Love it.
Just for the last week isn’t as pleasant as there is a lot of bugs by the water.

Parkings are available when you drive further inside.

Nice lakefront park with too many black bugs that fly into your face and eyes. The Muskoka chairs are a nice touch and very nice to sit and chill.

The mix of pretty residential homes just above the park, a mini forested area that takes a couple of mins to walk through, the harbour with boats, outdoor chairs to sit on, the view of the lake, a 5 min walk to downtown where there are shops. Free parking is right in front of the lake!

Recently renovated the landscaping, great seating, bike repair stand is also available. Interesting historical plaques to read.

It's a really good place.though a part of it is being built.but is definitely a place worthwhile.

Great view from the lookout, but the pay per view binoculars took my looney but didn't open up to give me the view.

Arguably the best park in Oakville for me. I’m always cycling and exploring lakeshore and Oakville. Nice little monument and view. Right in the centre of surrounding lakeshore areas. A huge park to the left across the pier, bridge behind you and another trail down to the right. Must visit during any season.
Sucks the construction is underway!

Beautiful, well maintained little park with great views. A observation deck overlooking Oakville Yacht Squadron, Chisholm House / Oakville Museum, Lakeside Park, Lighthouse and Toronto (on a clear day) across Lake Ontario. If you are a history buff, you should check this park out. There are plaques with little bit of Oakville’s past. There are few picnic tables if you are into picnicking. It gets quite windy and cold at the top. If you are planning to spend some time there, bring a light jacket.
