Tapri Chai

The food was terrific. The Vada Pav (Especially with the peri peri touch) was a genuine hit. Eat that with some masala chai and you're in food heaven. It also won't break the bank so it's a great treat to enjoy!

Best food I have had in a really long time. I’ve been here so many times now and every single time their food reminds me of back home.

First time at this busy little Indian Street Food restaurant. Recommended to us by some friends to try Pani Puri. Some of the best Indian Food we ever had! Ordered - Pani Puri and Masala Soda… Delicious! … with Samosa’s and Kashmiri Chai Tea to go. Service was fast and friendly. We will definitely be back again soon.

We had a lovely meal here. Came with my parents who were also very impressed how authentic, fresh and tasty the food was. We had the pani puri, dhai bhalla, chola with puris and the cauliflower paratha with chai.

Everything was so fresh, delicious and we would definitely come back to try more. The owner was very friendly, accommodating, and just really nice people who work here too. Lovely to support a local small business.

The ambience is beautiful and authentic. The food was served on time and extremely delicious. Aloo paranthas are must try. Even the snacks were fresh and tasted like street food style.

Aloo paratha was great and delicious and portions of food is quite well, everything comes with it that usually serve with Aloo paratha. Best aloo partha in town
Also Vada pav was also in big portion and tasteful. Im recommend this place to try out

I ordered food for catering at my home event. They delivered late. But the food was excellent. I will again and again order food from them. Nice food.

We went here for a cup of chai on a cloudy morning on Saturday and also tried their Vada pav! Hands down one of the best Vada pav I had since a long time! Made me miss my city Pune! It’s a small cozy cafe that would not disappoint you! Also loved their kadak chai and bun maska!

I had a great time at Tapri Chai. Not only the food and drink were delicious, the service was outstanding! The menu was thoroughly described and so much care was put into making sure that me and my baby were comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Picked up Masala Chai and Channa Masala - both were excellent. The channa rice bowl (can sub rice with flatbread) was the perfect size for one for a meal and perfectly spiced. The Chai is the BEST! This is what Chai should taste like. So glad I found this gem today, and I am sure to crave it soon for another visit.

This is by far the best authentic Indian
chai and snacks I have had in Ottawa.
The flavours and menu brought me back to India as soon as I tried it.

Aloo Paratha, chole puri, maska bun are top tier. Must try. So is the kadak chai and masala chai.

To top it all off, the service is exceptional. The staff is super welcoming and friendly. Do pay them a visit if you are in the area.

Tried cold coffee multiple times, consistent and amazing taste. Kashmiri chai was not consistent, great some times and not bad other time. Peri Peri Vada Pav was amazing.

Ordered 2 items, but I received only 1 item. This was frustrating. Restaurant should double check items before handling to courier service. Can not be reliable.
