Tar'd & Feather'd

I ordered the British burrito. It was supposed to have roast beef, mashed potatoes and horseradish in it. All I tasted was the beef and maybe a tsp of mashed potatoes. It came with a gravy and it was salty. There was barely any meat in it either! For $16 you would expect a decently stuffed burrito. They did throw a lot of fries on my plate…trying to compensate for the disaster of a so called burrito. After that disappointing meal, I asked for a dessert and we were told that there wasn’t any. I asked why and the waitress said “Our place is really not for desserts”. Huh? ! No desserts on their menu? The waitress did go in the kitchen and ask for us but we didn’t want to attempt it after the dinner. The waitress was very busy, basically forgot we were there. I spent almost $200 there with 4 guests and I still regret it this morning. The place was so good over the summer I suggested we return for a pre Christmas dinner. NEVER AGAIN! I felt like I was shafted big time. Such a disappointment.

This is a great place to grab a couple of drinks and some tasty food on your way to cottage! There menu is very diverse, the food is good and everything is reasonably priced. You cant go wrong here. Thank you!

Last time we went here one person in our party got food poisoning. We went again only to find out the service is non existent. Waited over an hour for food and the waiter never told us us there would be a delay. Never again. We left

Food was good. Service barely existed after ordered, never checked on us to see if we would like anything else was too busy sitting at table with other customers on phone.

Awesome atmosphere here, great small town pub with fantastic food, I ordered Sheppard's pie (see pic) it was delicious. My waitress Heather was amazing and friendly. They had bar trivia on the TVs and we shouted out answers to the people who were playing Great experience, what a great local pub place in Beaverton, next time I'm in the area I'm coming here. I was in there to get take-out, I placed my order and had to wait for almost an hour, which I dont mind as it was busy, however when I got my food I left (assuming they had everything) but when I got home I started to give everyone their food only to notice that the chicken parm I ordered was not there

Very decent food, after a hot long day we had couple beers and recharge with fish & Chips (perfectly thin battered) and Cuban Samy (decent size with lots of cheese). Staffs are very nice and friendly. They brought crayons and a basket of toys and he got entertained. Thank you everyone!

Quaint little place. Waitress was very pleasant. We each had a beer and some wings. We ordered the mild wings, not sure if they had anything in the coating or if there was supposed to have a sauce on the side. I like my wings with sauce on them. All in all they were pretty good.

Horrible service. Smile ladies. Ordered something that was apparently not in the take out menu. Charged me for it. Then tried to offer spiced fries. Took me 40 mins to get my bacon cheese fries.

Great food, great service, the staff is absolutely amazing. My wife and I really enjoyed our time and atmosphere here. Definitely would recommend for everyone. If you’re looking for a nice place, this is 100 percent a hidden jewel of Beaverton.

Excellent food but service was slow because there was only one waitress serving the patio and the restaurant was full. She did her best under the circumstances to accommodate our group of 6 and was very polite. It would however have been nice of her to warn us that the service was going to be very slow.

We camp each year in the Beaverton area the first week of July. Wanted to treat our daughters and grandchildren to a dinner out and found this place. The food was great as was our server and the atmosphere. We all loved it and my one daughter said she can't wait to get the fish and chips again next year.

Wings had decent flavor but they were not hot and fresh. More like they were pre-fried and re-fried. Service was great and patio was nice. So-So beer selection. Would go back and give them another try.

Tim Hortons and McDonald's almost killed the small town industries of Beaverton, but Tara and Heather have created a focal point for locals and tourists alike. Great food. No nonsense country attitude. A place to go. A much needed oasis from the small town monotony.

Went here during the holidays while on a short trip in Beaverton. We needed a restaurant that was open and this place didn’t disappoint! Had the tacos, the rotisserie chicken, and the perogies. Everything was good. The server was friendly and nice.

I've been here a few times in the last eight weeks.
The service is friendly and inviting.
The food is really good and reasonably priced.
I tried the Reuben sandwich.
Simply delicious and had a starter dish (soup of the day), it was a tomato type and it really hit the spot.
I known from previous visits, the service may have seemed to be a little slow, but they were having some staffing issues. I understood and didn't mind waiting a little longer.
I had the Philly steak sandwich and that was amazing. It was worth the wait.
If you're in Beaverton, in my opinion, I would consider visiting this place, for some great food at a reasonable price.

The quality of the food was amazing for a small city like Beaverton, and surprisingly it was very busy.

The food I ordered was very good but the wait time was extremely long due to take out orders. I understand that staffing issues can be a problem, and trying to please everyone. But I took the time to be able to sit down at a restaurant and take out orders were more important.

We visited Tar'd & Feathered just after the Labour Day long weekend, understandably there were a few things that were not available after a busy long-weekend but our very friendly server (Sam) told us up front so no disappointments. Our meal started with cold beers in a chilled glass, then came a huge Beet & Goat cheese salad that was very tasty. Both our sandwiches were toasted perfectly with loads of fillings and a generous portion of house cut fries. If you are in the area this is a great place for a pub lunch (or dinner). This place is also LGBTQ+ friendly.

Everything we had was delicious. We ordered almost every app on the menu and they were all yummy. I also had the steak trio taco and out didn't disappoint. Staff is amazing, happy and friendly.

My husband and I ate here for the first time and the food was really good! Great portions and decent prices. Our server told us she was new but we couldn’t even tell.she did such a great job. She was attentive and had such a great personality. We would definitely come back here. Good service, friendly staff and delicious food!

I've been trying to get them some business for years but the food is definitely gone downhill so I don't think I'll be eating there anymore

Chicken wings were cooked until they were almost dust. Many varieties but deep fried until there was not an ounce of moisture left in them. Cheese sticks were also fried so much all the cheese was gone from them and they were just hollow grease tubes. Service was excellent but the food was horrible. We will not be back.

Cute place with a large patio & decent food. Get the lattice fries! Just enough variety for everyone to enjoy. The steak salad is great!

I usually have a burger but the last time looked like you've been sitting for a long time don't bother with a salad might as well get the fries

Avacado blt grilled wrap with garden salad. Amazing and highly recommend. Friendly staff. Jeff was awesome. Couldn't have been happier with my visit.

Tara and her staff were very welcoming and friendly. The home made chicken Parmesan soup was incredible, and loaded with big pieces of chicken and a whack of vegetables. The chip-truck fries and gravy were the real deal! She was also very quick to offer my Guide Dog water. They feature a Decent selection of beers and my girlfriend's hot chocolate was rich and creamy - the perfect warm up on a brisk Winter's day. I can't wait for the summer to try the wings on their spacious patio. See you soon guys!

Always great service and great food. We found this restaurant about a year ago and they have the really the best wings and the sauce options are extensive! The carb free pizza is delicious as is the fish and chips. Heck. I don’t think I have ever ordered anything I didn’t like!

Love this restaurant. I had the chimichurrichonga. Sooo good. Staff is friendly and we loved loved the decor.

This is the most amazing bar and restaurant! We were cycling through Beaverton and decided on a whim to stop by for lunch. The service and food was great, with great mugs and pots for tea. We ordered some take out for our dinner later that evening and they provided us with great take away containers to strap to our bikes. Great people and great restaurant. Always nice to meet wonderful people.

If I could give this dive-bomb of a place 0 stars, I would. This place is an absolute JOKE! We had 3 different waitresses that all forgot about us. It took us 35 minutes to get our fountain drinks. Another 30 minutes for the appetizer and more than an hour and a half for the entree. We were asked twice by two different waitresses if we were waiting for our bill and my response was "no.we're waiting for our first round of sodas. " After the 2 and a half hours when we FINALLY got our food it was repulsive, flavourless and cold. It was borderline inedible.

This place is an abomination, an embarrassment and a tragedy. Save yourself the existential disappointment.

Amazing local spot! The menu says right on the front "sorry in advance for the poor service". I guess people on the way to their cottage can't read (by looking at the other reviews). Anyways, service is great, food is great.

This business is going above and beyond to implement the proper precautions. I couldn't easily access their menu so they text me photos of the menu. Once I was ready to order they took my payment over the phone and delivered it to a table outside when I arrived and promptly moved away for me to get my order. When I got home with my food it was great I don't have a single complaint. To keep me safe and provide a great meal this is a small town business that cares about its patrons. Good job!

Was OK. Service was alright. Felt a little ignored but maybe the waitress was busy. Prices are OK. Really cool inside. Fun night out with some friends or family.

Great service from Debb. Any issues with food or drink, which by the way are few, they look after it with no questions asked and no attitude. Good crowd with no riff Raff.

15 mins wait turned into infinite waiting game. Wife and I walked out without even being seated. If you are planning to visit this restaurant, certainly go with a reservation so showing up without one will result in utter disappointment. Tourists, try a different food joint as you will be waiting here a long time. Not recommended

Service is good but the good is mediocre. We shared a charcuterie platter and it was definitely a red neck platter.lots of fried breaded stuff, perogies and wieners? Would never order that again.

Medium sized, cozy restaurant serving up pub fare at a reasonable price. Great selection for both vegetarian/vegans and meat-aterians alike. Good selection at the bar as well.
We tried the Avocado Bruschetta as an appetizer, decent twisted on an Italian favourite.
For our mains we had the Chicken Quesadilla and the Off the Dock Fish & Chips. Both were tasty, well portioned and served hot.
Will be back when hungry and in the area.

The restaurant is clean. The service was great. The food was delicious. James, the head cook, is an excellent cook! He cooks your steak to perfection! He takes pride in his work, no matter what you order. It's refreshing!
