Terrible, just terrible. Food and service are absolutely gross. Lots of better options. Do yourself and your stomach a favor and avoid this place.

Staff are not friendly either so that definitely doesn’t help the experience.

Unfortunately, all good things come to an end. For this location, the owners have changed, the love is gone, and while the meal looks the same, it is definitely not. The family chicken souvlaki dinner had very dry chicken and rice, greasy gyros and the Greek salad was covered in oregano to hide the lack of freshness in the veggies. The mixed vegetables were soggy and lacked the garlic flavour of the past, and the meal was just a plain, flavourless meal stripped of its former Greek heritage. At a couple of dollars short of $100 for a family of 4, you would be better off to go to the food court of your local mall and save the money.

I have been ordering from this restaurant (before it was called friendly Greek) same owner, for over 20 years on a regular basis. I’m disheartened to find out that it is a new owner and they now use, what I think is Indian spices, in the food. You cannot change the recipe of a good greek restaurant. You can serve Indian food, but you should not change the authenticity of the greek dishes. I will never order from here again. And believe me, I ordered at least 3/4 times a month. Very, very disappointed

Attention under New ownership. The amount of food has been drastically downsized. So if you are ordering for a large group you will have to order double to get the same amount of food as you would have with previous ownership.

I didn't get a chance to sample the food the last time, but based on the service I was provided my opinion would be the care of cooking and quality of food ingredients is no longer there.

There are plenty of other Greek restaurants in and around this area to choose from. Give those places a try first.

It’s a little hidden jewel in Scarborough. Prices seems to be a little expensive until you revive your food and you see the vast amount of food on the plate! But the best part is when you you taste the food. 100% Greek, 100% delicious!

I ordered their family dinner take out for the first time and I was so impressed by the food. I was considering a place in Greek town but decided to try this place because their family meal looked like a really good deal. My husband and I were so blown away by the portion sizes we got and the food tasted great! I will definitely order again. Thank you for preparing a great dinner for us tonight.

Stay clear the potatoes were like they were marinated in a salt bath, the chicken was beyond burnt to the point that most of my dinner and my family dinner was thrown out

FANTASTIC! Hubby and I picked up Chicken Souvlaki dinner for tonight. What a little gem we have just found! I really can only say positive about our meals. They were huge meals! Chicken was cooked perfect, potatos, rice delicious and the salad was great as well. So excited to have found this little place. Will definitely be trying more dishes on the menu.

Best Greek food I've had in ages! Went in with my mom who hasn't had Greek food in years and we got Gyro dinner and souvlaki on a pita. Lots of food to go around. We will be going back for sure!

Update: Food is still amazing! The dinner options has enough food for 3+ meals! The food is fresh and delicious. This is a favourite since my mother lives close by and we know the food is always fresh.

Ordered the regular size chicken souvlaki dinner. Portion was large, quality was great, and tzatziki was yummy.

Great authentic Greek food. We ordered the Large Chicken Souvlaki dinner and the portion sizes were extremely generous. Chicken was juicy and tender and potatoes and Greek salad tasted amazing.

I don't know what all the negative reviews are all about. The food is delicious and the pricing is great. Yeah it's in a old building that could use a facelift but that aside I love this place.

This hidden gem, and I mean that literally as it’s hidden in a tiny plaza, is THE BEST. If you are looking for authentic and fresh Greek, this spot never disappoints. My wife and I cater big parties using them as well. Very affordable for the tray portions and it’s always a hit with guests. We recently got take out for dinner, and they forgot to put the tatziki in the bag. I called up the restaurant to inform them after noticing at home and without hesitation, he stated he would give us a free appetizer on our next order. That’s good business and great competition for a simple error. The flavour of the potatoes and rice are incredible. They always puts so much feta cheese on the salad, they don’t cheap out. We will continue to order our Greek from here always.

When you have great service and great tasting Greek food (this is the platter for 4 to 8 after 4 adults have eaten), you have to come back to see Kostas! I worked nearby in 2016-2017, went here for lunches and loved the food and Kostas' passion for his food. Went back today as I was in the area. And the food flavours and his passion has not waivered at all.this platter will feed us again tomorrow. Thanks Kostas! Jeremy says hi!
