Dr at urgent care was OK, but a little disrespectful. They suggested that my health issue was due to a lack of personal hygiene. I know enough about the issue to know this is a myth and not to be true in my case.

I was transferred to a Dr at this clinic since mine left. He seemed nice enough. However I found a Dr closer to home and requested my records be transferred. The receptionist put them IN THE MAIL mid January and they haven't been received by my new doctor. I called to ask what's going on when were they sent and she left me a Voicemail back saying that's weird they haven't been received. I'd give it another couple days and can send again if they don't get them and they get lost. UM HELLO? ! What about ALL of my health information you just lost and were negligent with? ! Major major major privacy violations all over the place. Who the hell mails health records these days? ! They're normally faxed or emailed over. DO NOT USE THIS CLINIC!

They don't close at 8: 00. They close at 7: 30. I wish they would change their hours to 7: 30. I went in at 7: 30 and they said they were closed.

I came in urgent care because I wasn’t able to bend my knee and wasn’t able to walk and knee was almost size of an apple it was swollen as hell, but they called in the kid who came one hour after me.
Do they expect me to do something to my self only then they would take me in?

Really helpful, intelligent doctor here. Nurse and reception were kind and welcoming. Doctor was thorough and caring, and gave me instructions on next steps so health issues could be further investigated

Great experience in and out in less than 35 minutes with prescription filled. Pleasant receptionists and very efficient friendly Doctor. This clinic is awesome!

If you go in so sick that you’re shaking, they’ll accuse you of doing drugs and tell you repeatedly that they don’t prescribe narcotics. She had a respiratory infection. Real fantastic medical care. Find another walk-in.

Dr.john is the most empathetic & thorough doctor, she has changed my mind about walk in clinics, I've almost always had a bad experience with a walk in clinic but not this one.

Dr. John addressed all my concerns and was genuinely looking to help me out, she did not leave any concern unaddressed.

I am extremely impressed with this clinic and doctor for their amazing service. I will always go to this clinic for any future needs.

I 100% recommend this clinic to everyone that is looking for a fulfilling visit with a doctor willing to understand and listen to you. They will provide with all the help you need.

In and out in under an hour while other clinics in the area had a 5-6 hr wait time. I also got lucky with the paid parking since it was free that day.

Went yesterday 2 months of pain on and off was told I was stressed told me to come back in two days if the pain wasn't gone and I would be prescribed an anti- depressent that's their answer to everything? Quack

A little while back, I had some serious pain near my lower/middle back. It was to the point of tears, and I decided to come to this walk in clinic. I was wildly disappointed with the way I was treated. I knew this pain was coming from somewhere internally, I have constant back pain (along with other health issues) but this was much different. I told my mother it felt like my kidneys but I’m not sure, so she really wanted me to see a doc. I show up, wait a bit, get sent for a urine sample, wait, and then finally get called into a room. A nurse, I believe, took some information from me and then I wait to see the doctor. The doctor refused to listen to me, and I was very polite as I’m somewhat afraid of doctors (due to past experiences) lol. But she swore that it was back pain, and when I tried to explain to her how it felt different then “just back pain” she refused to listen. Then, this is where I was most upset about my experience, she hit my back. Like seriously- she was “showing me” where my kidneys are actually located and strongly used the back of her hand an her nuckle to hit it. It genuinely hurt (plus I was already in pain) and at that point i realized I will not be helped here so I left in tears. I get many calls from them later telling me I have a bladder infection, they even called twice to tell me (I think they crossed signals and forgot they already called me). Very unpleasant and unprofessional experience, I will NOT go back there ever again. OH! And suprise- surprise, I had a KIDNEY infection.

Refused care for my daughter because I called her family Dr first and she deemed it necessary that she'd be seen right away at a walk in clinic.

This complaint concerns a family member that had an appointment in the winter months. To get to the clinic she had to take an out of town bus so when she was finished with her appointment she was told she could not wait inside while she waited for her bus. Security told her that she had to wait outside or in her car. She explained she did not drive there but came on a bus and was from out of town. How horrible since it was snowing and raining the day of her appointment and how very inconsiderate to make a person stand outside for two hours in these weather conditions. To top it off she is a senior! How horrible to treat a person like this when there could of or should have been other alternatives. Put yourself in other peoples shoes and see how you or someone connected to you would feel to be treated like this. Karma always comes back to bite people that are like this and you know where.

The receptionists downstairs are beyond impatient and rude. One of the main receptionists at the Ultrasound desk had the audacity to raise her eyebrows at an autistic patient who started getting loud.

I went here to use the walk in and was very well taken care of they got me on antibiotics and told me that I caught in soon enough that they wouldn’t have to do surgery which is awesome

Reception was rude. She Hung up on me before I finished asking were they accepting walk in? Do they do stitches? What time were they open until? Kept interrupting me to talk about doing covid screening online. We’re two years into this and I’ve cut the end of my thumb off when I tell you I don’t need you to go into detail about covid screening accept it and answer the questions I’m asking that actually matter to my health.

5 hours in the waiting room is disgusting, there are people still in front of me. I've seen only 4 maybe 5 people physically go in to see the doctor since being here. If I wanted a 5 hour wait I'd have gone to the hospital.

Staff and Dr.were great! I luckily didn’t have a lot of other people ahead of me and I was only there for a short period of time.

Very clean. And although I didn't go to the walk in clinic, I went to the blood lab. Very clean and the wait time was not long.

Requested front desk to see a doc for general checkup and blood work referal for cholesterol but incompetent staff completely avoided and asking me to get a covid test before seeing a doctor.i am telling her that I am fully vaccinated but she doesn't want to know and abruptly providing directions to get tested; made me feel that I am an alien from other planet. Not to mention the parking is ridiculous charging $4 an hr.

Not much to say except that - thank goodness another Dr in a different field/location took the time to highlight a medical issue to me.

Receptionist was very rude. What kind of medical professional doesn't know what a TDAP vaccine is? After confirming that I'll call again next week to schedule an appointment, she just hang up the phone on me. There are so many people right now looking for work because of the pandemic and this lady can't even do the bare minimum for her job.

My family has been going to doctor hilario lapena for a few years and each time we leave with an extremely disappointed experience. He’s very incompetent and lacks a general sense of understanding with his patients leaving them unsatisfied and still no solution for their medical problem. Would not recommend him at all to anyone.

I explained to reception and nurse with Urgent Care, that child developed a very pronounced itchy hive rash all over and is very uncomfortable. I emailed the photos as requested for review and waited 7hrs for doctor to call and they never did. Spoke with reception and a nurse 3 times who said to stay by the phone for doctors call. There is obviously a big problem with this place run by incompetent people. You wasted my time and let my child suffer! Everyone, don't even bother with this place!

I went here on a Friday evening and was surprised it wasn't busy.until I met "the Doctor". I was told to go to room 2. Shortly after a heavyset older woman with a scowl on her face came into the room and plopped heavily onto the chair. After a confusing conversation I asked if she was the doctor. As long as I can remember in my 66 years when a doctor walks into one of their examination rooms, they introduce themselves. Well Dr. Lettner, I think it's time you retired.

Dr Valiulus saved my life. If it wasn't for his forward thinking and asking lots of questions, I would be dead. He is kind, compassionate and has a great sense of humor. I would highly recommend him. Waiting to see the doctor was very quick but the doctor himself was quite rude. Never have I felt so rushed/unwelcome by a doctor.

This place has always been amazing for me for 5yrs now. But now Im going to find a new walk in place. I went in for pink eye. It was completely obviously I had pink eye. But when I went in the doctor (women) didn't really care about what I had to say. Even debated with me when I said I couldn't see out of it properly, saying no that only happens when you wake up. I know when I can and can't see. She asked me questions about it and when they didnt match up to what her questions were she kept asking until I just agreed and said yes. Though it wasn't true. Then gave me a prescription and never really clued me in on what I had. When I had questions she just left me sitting on the table so she could leave. Honestly I just felt like they wanted me out the door. If that's what you want then this place is perfect for waiting for 30min to get shoved out the door. Btw they only deal with one problem at a time. I went in for wrist pain too but she wouldn't even acknowledge that.

Usually, this clinic is pretty decent. The odd brush off and push out the door but for the most part, I get reasonable care here.

However, most recently, I came in here with severe chronic abdominal pain after a day and a half of agony (thinking I had the flu as I had other symptoms associated with the flu the first day). Day 2, I came to this clinic to see why I still had such bad chronic stomach pain and was told it was “period cramps” and to take midol. So I did as told with no relief for another day. Couldn’t sleep that night so in the morning, I got up, had my sister drive me to the hospital and found out I had appendicitis. I went nearly 4 days in pain, thinking it was the flu (my own diagnosis), period cramps (Dr’s dignosis) and found out it was appendicitis. Post appendectomy, my surgeon told me I was extremely lucky as my appendix was very close to rupturing. I’m not blaming the Drs here, but perhaps the clinic could use some more staff or rule out all options before making a diagnosis. The Dr I had, had the idea to perform an ultrasound to rule out other possible illnesses and chose not to. For the sake of 5 minutes, I think that would have been the best option so that I could be treated sooner.

I think writing this review will help somebody.
They will have you do lab test at the point of entry and Doctor will ask you to wait for the test which can take days before results come.
Until then, just survive on your own because they are not giving you anything to help your situation.
This is worse if you are a foreigner (NO OHIP) as they charge you for the lab test and just making eye contact with the Doc.
On the other hand, the facility is neat and the staff is helpful.
