Can't say enough about this business! I have bought my filter, pump and heater from them and have recently had a new liner installed. They make you feel like family and will not stop until you are 100% satisfied. Tav and his staff take as much time needed to walk you through some of your swimming pool issues. Love this business and have been making sure all my friends go their now too.

I came to Tav last week with a concern about cloudiness of my water. My pool chlorinator had been in advertently left on high overnight. I thought that this would be the equivalent of shocking my pool and could not understand the cloudiness and slight accumulation of algae on the bottom. Tav clearly and concisely educated me in the difference between shock and stabilized chlorine and the effects they have on the water. Once he explained this, I immediately realized my mistake. Within 24 hours of following his instructions my water was sparkling clear. I had to backwash my filter twice to completely clear all the algae.

I cannot thank him enough for his professionalism and experience! As someone else posted, he is indeed Dr. Chemical!

Tav pools (Carolyn and team) just closed our pool for the winter and I am super impressed by their professionalism and quality of work.

Comparing them with our previous pool service provider:
1. They reduced the water line with a professional gas pump - instead of just draining a few inches of water into the ravine using a small sump pump
2. Properly blew out the the lines, adding antifreeze to the skimmers, etc - this was never done by the previous folks, who didn't even drain enough water at first place
3. Everything was packed up nicely, and things cleaned up

We moved to Tav pools from the neighbouring Taunton Pools shop and couldn't be more happy. Not sure if this is Covid affect, but some businesses don't care about basic services, just large projects. For our pool opening by the previous folks, the pool was left pitch green, as an example, on opening - where we had to handle pool chemistry. Pool cleaning is not part of the opening, and we understand, but those folks left even the floor drain in the skimmer closed. As new pool owners (and the fact we used a pool robot for cleaning), we never bothered to notice this until the pool closing.

Not only Tav pool folks did a very professional job, they were kind enough to do an inspection of the equipment, and call back on what maintenance we needed for the next year.

And to compare, they were still cheaper - despite spending nearly twice the time, and doing a thorough job. Thank you!
