Very disappointed with Monil’s professionalism. Noticed this couple of times - He’s always in a haste and abrupt if given a call. Was pretty rude the last time when I had a question about my filing and just needed 2 mins of his time, which was the last straw for me and will not be using his services again.
IMO, he fails to understand that he is supposed to provide clients advise and clarification too. If Im paying a lot more for a service I can do myself for $40, i expect tax advisory and clarifications.

April 2021: I had previously given 5 stars to Monil. But seems like as time passed and his clientele increased he became far more expensive. I do not find value in services anymore. He is simply too expensive. Also, his charges more than doubled (not communicated to me in advance) just because i wanted to claim detailed tax deduction for work from home during COVID, event though all the information was provided me and he didn't have to do any calculations. My friends who filed with him also had similar experiences. There are so many accountants who can provide the same level of service for 1/3rdof what he charges.

Monil was introduced to me from a previous client. I am a lawyer and I asked Monil to prepare a business plan for a client applying for OINP. Monil is not creative and simply used a template. Unfortunately the client's application got rejected. Prior to getting this client's rejection letter, I asked Monil to draft a business plan for another client, a Start-Up Business client. Monil did not even think of the obvious and when I explained to him what I expected, he just delayed and delayed and I received an email from him two days ago saying that he is busy and would not be able to get back to me any earlier than mid May! (It is April 11th today). AVOID THIS GUY, RUN AWAY! HIS SERVICE IS CHEAP AND AFFORDABLE BUT WORTHLESS!
