Prices have gone up to much to justify this food anymore. It used to be $9 for 2 regular wraps on special in 2019. Now it is $18.

Here you can find really delicious plates with meat, salad and fries and etc. Vegetables are fresh. Staff is also nice. I will come back again.

My overall experience as follows:

Food - very tasty! There are a lot of shawarma spots across mississauga and the GTA but i have been noticing food quality going down. Taza's meat and veggies however were fresh tasting and they are very liberal with the garlic sauce if you ask for it!

Atmosphere - we went for a pickup but the outside has a few tables to sit and eat and the inside has a few seats as well. Nothing really stood out here to me.

Service - the staff were very friendly and helpful! When I called to place my order, they ensured they double checked what I wanted and the toppings as well, and were very friendly when I arrived to pay and pick up my food. It was a very nice touch!

Overall, I'm really happy with the food Taza provided my family and I, and I think they have a strong advantage in their polite manner and the quality of food they provide compared to some of the bigger chain shawarma spots, which I feel have lost their lustre/appeal of late.

Always goto this location. Owner is super customer service oriented and great quality food everrytime.

Second time getting the chicken plate on rice. There were a couple of what looks like little stones that I bit hard onto. We looked into a microscope at it (see picture). The crunch in my mouth was alarming, but thankfully, my teeth are fine (I think).

The food was yummy, but I can’t relax after this experience.

Go here for the best chicken on fries/rocks! Pro tip: request them to top it with extra garlic sauce.

Food tastes okay but little dry and very pricey comparing to other similar places. Common, $13 with tax for a falafel pita roll that too without any combo? Found fillings quantity inside the roll low too. No doubt it was not busy as well.

This location is close by to me and they always do an amazing job with my orders. The service is amazing and the food is always great. I always ask for extra sauce and they always deliver! Thank you!

Found a shred of metal scrubber in the rice. It could’ve been a visit to the emergency room and a law suit.
The quality of food also significant regressed.

This restaurant consistently make fries soggy, wet, bendy, clumped together, colorless. Fries are very basic. It's impossible to get them wrong, so why is this happening? Only thing I can think of is they're happy to give their customers leftover fries instead of cooking fresh to save money. Awful ethics.

Enjoyed my freshly made falafel wrap. It was reasonably priced, and the young man behind the counter was cheery and helpful. Definitely would be going back. Keep it up!

The garlic sauce is good and the chicken is moist as well. Gotta try their liver and sausage shawarma next time!

By far the best chicken on the rocks and sticks place, highest quality chicken never getting chewy gristle or low amounts of chicken! Tasty sauces and the price is worth it for the quality of the food items they serve in comparison to other well known shawarma places! Will certainly be back.

Summary: a once great shawarma place, turned bad through cost cut by greedy management. Tasteless shawarma

I’ve been to this place since it’s inception. Then we would go at least once a week. As pandemic creeped up the portion sizes got smaller and taste not as good. I was patient and gave them the benefit of the doubt because the pandemic. That was a mistake. Not only did taste become worse, but it became normal to find uncooked chiken and bones. Then the price was raise by at least 2 dollars per plate.

I can not recommend this place. And, the only reason why I don’t give 1 star is because the past experience that I hope will return soon

This location is really good and I love their customer service. I highly recommend also the owner is really professional.

Update: June 27th, 2021: I used to love this place.but unfortunately the quality has really dipped significantly and doesn't taste good anymore. The chicken is really low quality, too dry and rubbery. The sauces are okay but even though the last two times I specifically asked for more tahini, they did not listen, barely any sauces in the shawarma. Disappointing when standards fall this much, I kept giving this place a chance but not anymore.

I loved the chicken on rice with the Greek salad side more than any other fast food/restaurants I've been too. Would reccomend, nice employees as well! 10/10

Quality has gone way down. Chicken was rubbery and they cheap out on the sauces. For the past couple of times I have been clearly saying extra tahini but there was barely any sauce is my shawarmas. This was my favourite shawarma place and it was close to me in the Erin Mills area, not anymore. I hate when places like these get popular then they start dropping the standards like the other shawarma places as well.

Pathatic service. Don't order over the phone for pickup. They will try to make the worst orders. The owner should place an order anonymously and see what employees are serving unless the owner is not involved himself.

I took Reg size Chicken on Rocks. Chicken is so rubbery. Literally felt like eating rubber. Had to garbage my food. I am never going back.

Pleassssse read this.this pushed me over the edge. I went to this place few times and I told my self it's going to get better every time but not the case. Their chicken on the rocks consists of only rice. So if you like a pound of rice and no meat. How cheap can you be. Stayyyy Awayyyy

Good fries and chicken. Really cheap about substitutions though. I wanted to replace the expensive item that came with my deal for a cheaper item but the manager wouldn't allow it. Bad customer service imo.

I went from 25 minutes ago because they said they close at 12 am on Fridays but they actually were closed from 11: 15 pm.

Love their flaffel and their chicken shawarma! Friendly prompt service, never had an issue at this location always satisfied and happy that i went here over other places.

Poor customer service. Woman willed her eyes at me when she asked how spicy I wanted it lol not sure why. Wasn't impressed.

Chicken Shawarma on Z Rocks. Thinly sliced Chicken shawarma served on a bed of rice & topped with light tzatziki. This is Taza Xpress's most famous item, and I had never tried it before. It's kinda unique and different despite having the same old shawarma meat on it. Because the different items come together to create an amazing combination of flavors.so.pass. But there should be option to add some vegetables too, I had to cut up my own pickles at home to go with this.

The sauce is good but the chicken was repulsive. It was dry and smelled. The fries were soggy as well. It was used to be good with crispy fries and fresh chicken. Hopefully it gets better but this has been my experience for the last 3 times.

I recommend the chicken on the rocks half and half with the sauces. It’s just the best you can get

I've been going to this restaurant since the day it was opened. A lot of changes have been made to their menu items since then. The restaurant is beautiful! Feels very homey and comfortable, it’s very clean and the food is simply amazing Fantastic place to have something when in a hurry. Their customer service is efficient, prices are convenient, great mood. Will come visit again

Amazing food and service! I forgot my debit card and asked the owner if I could etransfer him and he was so receptive and nice!

Flavor is good however i asked for mild spice but it was extremely hot. Hard to enjoy, ended up throwing away the shawarma! People were friendly and welcoming.

I asked for a beef shawarma medium spicy they endup giving me extremely spicy and plus drenched in sauce to a point it was dripping all over my hand on to my pants and destroying my shoes. As I got to the end it was impossible for me to eat.
It was the first and last time I will Vist them.

Chicken in my shawarma was raw I called the store and they said come buy another and we will give you 10% off? Is this a joke? I was served raw meat and I paid fir cooked meat lol

Everything ordinary tasting from chicken shawarma to kafta, to shish tawook.
Shawarma tasted like Lazeez shawarma.sauce was bit sour.

Tahini and Hot sauce also normal.

3 Star bcz cleaning was good and customer service was nice.

They ran out napkins, and when when we asked for napkins/tissues they brought brown paper towel from inside the kitchen.

Great shawarma place. Food is pretty good and spice is level is real (when they say spicy they mean it)
Place is a bit small though so it isn't meant for dining in.

Taza Xpress - The middle east restaurant which serves shawarma. The most favour shawarma is always the chicken shawarma and this is what I ordered. The pita bread is too thick and is not crispy, however the chicken is very delicious. The chicken is cooked just right which gives the shawarma the great taste. The restaurant is amazing, highly recommend.

Healthy, yummy and plentiful. Great choice if you want to avoid a traditional fast food burger joint ;)

The food tastes great here the portions are very nice if you can handle it and get the large wrap it will hit the spot I have no complaints about this location it has always been clean the staff has always been friendly

Amazing weekly deals, especially on Fridays. Food is great and service is pretty quick. Highly recommend!

Middle eastern food has become an integral part of our diet. We definitely need our dose of hummus & falafel/shawarma once a week.
So this week we stumbled upon @taza.xpress for a quick takeaway.
Our order Falafel Platter- Grounded fava beans, hummus, parsley, and onions fried in vegetable oil and served with colourful salad & rice.
They fry the falafel on the spot which is amazing as one can savour the crispiness & freshness together.
Full marks for the packaging as everything is packed seperately.
They do serve a wide variety of sandwiches, shawarma & sides.

Great food for a low price. The Manager Mohammed was an extremely great host, he offered me free dessert considering it was my first time. Would love to go again in if I'm in Mississauga.

Ordered here a few times and the food is delicious. Today however I ordered garlic fries, chicken shawarma on the rocks and a falafel.

The falafel was for a vegetarian and there was no sauce inside the wrap. No garlic, hummus, tahini and hot sauce. And yes I did ask for all these items. A falafel can't be eaten with no sauce, it would taste like cardboard.

The food is good.tastes good. The meat is cooked though the rice is a bit thick. I tried the mixed grill platter just to see how everythng tastes. Chicken went above my expectations. Beef and mutton are okk. Must try the restaurent if you are a food enthusiast.

I bought the On the Rocks today and the rice were totally not cooked or something and not well at all. They looked and felt like plastic or some not eatable form. I called them and manager not available and supervisor said to come and get a new one right now else you cant get it later. This is very very bad customer service and also these rice could probably get anyone sick. Management needs to look into this seriously.

Middle Eastern restaurants are situated almost within every plaza in Mississauga. I've tried my fair share of chicken shawarma and chicken on the rocks, and by far Taza is my favourite. Perfect amount of flavours and ratios, not to mention their daily specials are fantastic!

I had a beef taza on sticks, it was OK nothing special in terms of taste. Portions were quite generous, wait time was reasonable, place was clean and has limited seating. The beef was cooked well but had no taste, fries were very greasy and while there was lots of tahini and garlic sauce I did not like the taste of either one. I wont be coming back any time soon.

Great chicken shawarma. Great garlic sauce and hot sauce - they both mix really well together. Been looking for a new shawarma place and I think this is it.

I really like shawarma and have tasted all types of shawarma places across Mississauga. There are two places I'd always go 1) Lazeez and 2) Osmow's. But now move over as Taza Xpress is my new favorite joint. Really nice shawarma although I believe the recipe is somewhat similar to the other places mentioned with some minor adjustments-and believe me they work. Nice flavorful meat and some good specials everyday to match up. Their portions vary however I'd always go with the decent sized medium on the rocks. Hopefully they open up more locations.

Customer service is not the greatest and the food is ok (my shawarma sandwich became cold within 10 minutes of it being prepared)

The location on Eglinton has a variety of choices including shawarma. I tried the chicken Shawarma and it was delicious. If you are looking for a place that is nice, but offers good Shawarma, then go no further than Taza Express. The variety of food makes the place better, and gives a good reason for anyone to come and eat.

This is one of the best place for chicken on the Rock, you should go on Friday when they have special going on, 2 boxes for 10 dollars. This place is alot better than lazeez and osmow's, especially since I see the same person here as I used to see at lazeez (guess he opened his own place).

Hands down best shawarma in Mississauga. They have daily deals so the prices can’t be beat. They serve your usual Mediterranean food (chicken on z rocks, falafel).
