Worst service ever. Only 2 tellers working and the line out the door. Someone sitting behind desk in customers view and did not get up to help. People sitting in offices and no one came out to help. They don’t even deserve the one star, customer asked for a manager and was told to hold on and the manager never came.

Beware & triple check your bills from their ATM machines. It spits out fake bills and bank was so nonchalant about it. I suspect it's an inside job but bank doesn't want to investigate the matter. Will never bank at this branch ever!

Ridiculous service.
I’m all for being patient with newbies but our teller visibly didn’t care.
Likely was new but even then had little attention, we waited in line only for her to notice us about 5 minutes later.
Constantly yawning without covering her mouth as if she was so sick of her job.
Playing with her hair and not at all apologetic… the lack professionalism almost angered me.
It was almost like she wanted to get fired from her job.
Everything that an employee shouldn’t do she did.

Slowest bank. Horribly managed when it comes to staffing and efficiency. Always a line up that barely moves because the staff struggle or there isn’t enough staff on their busy days to handle the customer flow.

Found so many 1 star reviews talking about poor management, but honestly I didn’t felt nothing bad at this location

It was my first time visiting, had problems with my lien papers, even the TD auto finance department couldn’t get it done but manager took the extra mile to get it right away unless it will take 5 business days to get it

I had a lot of tedious requests and I was dealt with very well by Ashne! She was amazing and did everythinb very professionally and swiftly with no issues. Would definitely recommend this branch!

Not so good service at all they promise you all stuff & later they dont reply
Also I suffered from a loss of 1000$ which are missing from my mobile banking account but they said will help you out later no one rply on this topic and not at all cares

I came around 1.10 PM on Friday and the guy that was assisting me was clearly laughing at me when I told him I wanted to make a deposit I don’t know why but the staff at this TD are just ignorant and don’t know how to do there job properly I think the guy should also get his ears checked because I had to repeat my self 3-4 times for him to understand

This branch really helped me out when I got scammed, and I was able to retrieve the money I had lost. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Thank you!

Terrible customer service, no communication and no accountability for messing up my deposit.
**Update** TD customer service contacted me, failed to address my ACTUAL concern and gave me a blanket statement of how their systems work, which was not my issue. I guess this kind of lackluster response was expected. They don't actually care about helping their customers, they just hope they forget and go away. Nice.

The management here is horrible! They do not care about customer wait time or customer loyalty. The management and the one I dealt with Prakash was rude and disrespectful!

By Far and Away the best TD branch in all of Toronto, barn none. The staff here are brilliant, highly professional, knowledgeable of all products, courteous well-mannered, well-educated and great conversationalists. And the way in which they've conducted themselves during the coronavirus in terms of safety protocols and procedures is perfect.

First TD bank of this area. Staff members are gentle and polite. Always happy to help. Good customer service. They always let you know about their new banking offers and products. 100% recommended.

I will not even give one star. I see unknown transaction of $71 in my checking account in September they told me I will get my money back within 2 weeks.it’s December haven’t got anything.on top of that I have called already 5 thine for this and I have to repeat my self like broken radio which date it was and all bla bla bla and they are not doing anything. Useless I will not recommend anyone to go to this bank and I am going to close my account with them.they don’t care for loyal customer.

I do not usually post comments regarding the negatives or positives of life's experiences. At 73 years of age, I have learned that they both have purpose and lessons to be learned within their content.
Demanding perfection of others, though popular in today's on-line world, is seldom accompanied with equivalent demands that the "fault finders" apply to themselves. Hence, it is rather disingenuous and birthed from a sense of entitlement. Another popular mindset we have been inundated with.
As a client of the T. D.branch at 49 Lapsley for many years I've never been treated with anything other than complete respect, kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. Is every visit perfect? No. But neither am I!
I am not a big money customer yet have always been made to feel valued and that is not by accident nor coincidence. It's by design which is praise worthy and rare! The welcoming and friendly atmosphere "my friends" at 49 Lapsley have created takes hard work and tolerance to accomplish in a world where the complainers complain loudly and often yet seem to get very quiet when things go well. But, that's what "entitled fault finders" do, isn't it? I repeat: Disingenuous!
I'll be heading over for a bank visit today and I'm looking forward to it! A pleasant experience is expected because I plan on playing my part in its pleasantness. Graciousness has an amazing way of paying you back as does the lack of it!

One of the busiest TD - but customer service are great. You don't feel rushed and they are very knowledgeable when questions are asked. They are all hard working. Keep up your great work.

Got served by a racist teller today. She took her sweet time with the customer before me, leaning in, making long conversations about everything unrelated to banking even though there was a lineup. The customer told her of an experience with a certain culture, and she joined in giving racist remarks about some cultures her self. I went up to her and told her that even if a customer says something about a certain culture, she should not add to it and avoid the topic. She was unapologetic and completely ignored my remarks, wanting to talk only bank business unlike the previous customer. Why don't you have a long conversation with me and I can teach you about a culture or two. Ignorant girl.

Filipino Receptionist was rude when we asked about opening an account. When we were speaking to her she tries to ignore us and talked to the other customer next in line.

The service I received for applying a new credit card was beyond horrible. The TD at 49 Lapsley Rd, Scarborough, ON M1B 1K1 do not know what they are doing. I waited for over 1.5 hrs on the branch for someone to take me in a private room to perform profile merging. I was then told that there is no appointment available. I have to book an appointment elsewhere. The woman sit on the customer desk was very racist. In fact, quite a few people there were racist because I am Asian. I went to Macwan and Finch Avenue branch, I did not even have to book an appointment, and I got profile merged in less than 5 mins.

It is unbelievable that a company can make as much as TD and still make their customers wait minimum 1/2 hour to see a teller. The management at this location is atrocious. The advisors, incompetent. Avoid this place like the plague if you have any other option TAKE IT!

Zero rating. I was treated with so much disrespect today i could cry. They made an issue from their end with my student account and i was being talked down to from the manager and the regular staff. The lady knew she was being rude and still didn't even apologize to me with how she was speaking to me and had the NERVE TO ASK ME "IF I KNEW WHAT A TRANSACTION IS". So as soon as i left i cancelled my account with td. HORRIBLE SERVICE! I DON'T KNOW WHY THEY CLOSED DOWN N OPENED BACK THIS LOCATION.i don't like taking food from other people but these people that should get new careers and fired because they are horrible.you just lost a customer to ScotiaBank.

Wait time is horrible regardless what time of the day you go to this branch. When asked they say they have limitations and etc.horrible service
