Tellers here are severely uneducated and think they know the law. Explained things I’ve never heard any other bank say to me for a deposit. Please educate your tellers and pick up the pace. Bunch of lazy employees who don’t even know the day of the week. Reflects poor management and principal!

I scheduled an appointment at a specific time and the person totally forgot about it the following day so I waited for 30 mins and I left. This isn't the only reason why i put 1 star. Never coming back there.

It would have been great if I had the option to write a review by giving no star. This TD Bank location deserves no star. Management sucks and staffs are the same. No proper customers service. I choose TD Bank as my primary bank.
No I am more than ready to leave. But the only thing that keeps me currently is my investment account with a financial planner.

Today July 4-2023 I visited TD bank around 3: 30 pm with my mom as she needed to get some banking done. I was very happy with the service provided to my mom. We were served by a young Female, I didn’t get a Chance to ask her name but she was wearing a mask. She was very helpful, patience and gave proper guidance. She was a well experienced teller. Everytime we went to TD we were very lucky to have her serving us. Thank you once again and sorry I couldn’t add a name to the review but I hope she gets this message!

Visited td bank today july 4-2023 to do some banking. I was very happy and satisfied with the teller that helped me. She was very nice and helpful. Thank you for your help and you are doing an amazing job! Keep up the amazing work. It was a young female with a mask on

I recently started my own small business, despite being told by multiple people to open a small business account at RBC or CIBC. I decided to open an account with TD, so that I can bank at my home branch.

After getting the account open with no problem, I was told that my deposit will only be held for 4 days. I has asked the Small business account specialist if they can release my funds earlier, he then informed me that my home branch can release my funds if I talk to them.

Fast forward to last week when I go to deposit 4 checks issued, I was told that I could only deposit 1 of the 4 checks. The reason being the other 4 checks were issued before the account was open, and I was for to get the check reissued and the one check that they did take was placed on hold for 5 days

I took it on myself to call the td business phone line, and found out that the branch was not suppose to place my check on hold for 5 days. In fact they were also suppose to accept my checks at the simple fact they were issued to the business with the business name. And the date of the opening of the account did not matter.

Now I sit here revisiting the Advice I was given to open account with RBC or CIBC. Thank you TD at 680 Markham road. For the terrible experience, If I could give a star rating of zero I would but you will have to make do with a 1.

If I could give a 0 star, I definitely would. Horrible staff. They for reason they seem to think they are the only bank in the world. I hope TD corporate looks into this. I’d be more than happy to provide more information

As a new to bank customer. I must say that TD Canada Trust gave me an exceptional experience and exceeded my expectations. An advisor by the name of Thanujan assisted me even though i did not have an appointment and he has my sincere thanks for that. Thanujan was very friendly, professional and really cared for my needs and concerns. He was very knowledgeable in terms of the financial services offered by TD and I definitely felt like I was in good hands. Thank You!

Christine was very friendly and helped me with all my needs. She was very patient, clarified everything and was super informative. I am giving my experience with Christine a 5 star.

However I had a problem with her manager Nicky, who tried to rush us so she could meet her “quota”. She spoke to her staff really rudely. She def ruined my experience & I did not feel welcomed after because of her.

Shout out to Joshua Robin for exceptional customer service, he is the best employee this branch has. We were booked in for 5: 30 with one of their representative and we got there a little early only to find out that the representative just finished shift and was leaving the premises. When the reception calls this representative and informs that her appointment was here and asked her to come back she asks someone else can help us.

That’s when Joshua steps in and accommodates us even when he was about to leave in 10 minutes. Not only he spent way more than 10 minutes with us but he was highly professional, knowledgeable and listened to our questions and answered them to the best of his knowledge. If you’re close to this branch and are willing to give your business to them look for Joshua Robin and he will definitely not disappoint you.

I know this place has its bad moments when its busy but that's not the employee's fault, but they always do their best to help you with anything, especially this wonderful young lady named Lavanya, she is really helpful and has great customer service.

Worst service compare to other financial institutions.called many times customer service team they don't know how to help the client as well visited many times to the branch no good response.still problem is unsolved moving to CIBC.

This branch is the terrible. They are never helpful, no compassion for clients and frequently unreasonably rude! I have been TD customer for over 10 years and whenever I had to visit this branch a regretted big time! Will never go again!

The security guard could have been a bit more verbal in her communications, as I did not realize at first that she did not want me to enter the bank just yet.

This TD bank location (Markham Road and Lawrence Ave East) is one of the best that I have done my transactions at. All of the staff that I have met greets you with warm welcome and does there job efficiently. There is one employee that actually sticks out the most, and he's name is Sujal. I noticed that he's not just very helpful to the customers, but also to his colleagues. Ditto for the manager, Phuong, too. Amazing work ethics. Cheers to employees like them!

I won’t say the whole staff is not good.coz I didn’t deal with everybody in the premises but from my last 3 Branch visits (specially the latest one) I can very much say that so many people In the branch need proper training.
My mistake- I would have talked to the branch manager right away, but I had to be somewhere so I left.
If I have to do everything on call why the branches are there for?

Worst bank ever. Very poor service usually 45 minutes wait. Staff have so much attitude especially MURLEY the teller. She things she is doing volunteer work at the bank and the customer service manager FARRAH MAHMUD have no responsibilities. Both of theirs attitudes are not tolerable. I had the worst experience with both of them. They both need to be educated what’s customer service. If they go to jonny’s Shawarma by Kennedy and Ellesmere they both can learn what’s customer service is

Amazing service from Suthakaran Jeya (Mobile Mortgage Specialist). He worked tirelessly and always kept us up-to-date on our application, mortgage details and services available to us. I won't deal with any other banks or staff at TD except with Sutha.

Waiting 40 minutes to get a new bank card because the teller had no idea what she was doing! She was very rude as well and unprofessional and didnt apologize for the delay. She then asked another colleague for help and then told me the other colleague would speak to the manager. At that point I am so upset and find it ridiculous, I tried to speak to the manager who was absolutely Rude and told me to go to another branch and to get out because she didnt want to hear my complaint! Absolutely worse experience at this branch. I have been with TD for years and I love banking with them! I have never had this issue until this day. Absolutely terrible service and the female manager I encountered was no help!

I've had "alright" service from waiting in line.

However the woman at the help desk and the people in the offices behind it are rude and almost lack any kind of social skills. I walked out of a meeting with a woman one time because I felt so unwelcomed. She was so cold.

You can feel the negativity from majority of the employees that work at this branch from the minute you walk in the door. I really thought it was only me, but reading other reviews confirms that the atmosphere here is just sour.

It's 2019 and I don't need that kind of negativity in my life so now I literally go there ONLY to take money out of the ATM machine.

Everytime I go they greet me nicley. Once I had an annoying experience due to misscommunication but every other time has been amazing!

Asked for a big withdraw three days advance. Want seven days notice. Very nice talking gentle bad service. Yes they refused! Was not asking to withdraw 100,000- about half of it. Poor TD Monopoly real Canadian Service. Did not let me meet the branch manager! Buyer be aware

Very very bad customer service

A friend lost their wallet and she needs to get a new bank card and the managers are making things extremely hard to get a replacement bank card, after months and months of trying even with photocopies and verification of signatures and things like this the person is having a extremely hard time getting a bank card, very unhappy with the service at this location and the person does not want to go back to a TD Bank again especially this location, very very poor customer service at this location and this is her home branch where they should have copies on file of past ID and signatures, very disappointing service from both managers and workers seem very arrogant and discrimitoolry with no compassion for this situation.

She showed her monthly direct deposit slips and photo copies of I'D she had and original id that was available and matched her signature with that on file after the loss of her wallet and explained the urgency of needing to get her bank card as she is single and needs to pay her rent and buy food and personel items they show no care about helping her get a new bank card so she could get on with her life, they kept insisting for original documents only but this is hard for somebody that looses a wallet it takes time to get
Documents and they are refusing to accept photo copy of past ID

If she did not have a friend like me to help her financially through this hard time I do not know how she would have gotten through, the bank staff showed no compassion for this woman or care about her situation of having to pay her rent and get food etc
This treatment from her own HOME BRANCH is totally not right and she is so hurt she does not want to deal with this branch anymore in the future very sad customer service from employees and very not right conduct from the managers especially considering this was her HOME BRANCH

Full of incompetent employees. I am an accounting bookkeeper of our Company and always pays bills and deposits company's cheques. But most of the time they made mistakes. Most especially when it comes to CRA payments and that we always do get interest arrears because of their incompetency processing incorrectly applied the payments. I even asked the Manager Customer Service ROWIN PATEL to helped me but said I am not the Authorized Signing Officer and could not open our Company Bank Transactions. YES, I do know that, BUT when it comes to BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS let your COMPETENT EMPLOYEES process the bill payments if you do have one as OWNERS could not come to fix your own errors. And also yesterday 07/04/2018 came to pay our Company RBC Visa Card but instead they deposit our own cheque to our account and not applied the payment to the Visa card upon checking thru banking online login. Now, I have to call their telephone banking but since my boss/Authorized officers are on vacation for 3 weeks how can we check this error again. TD MARKHAM LAWRENCE SUCKS!

Hello, Good morning. Yesterday, evening around 6 pm I went to this branch. I have a question, " Customer Service" Does anyone of this branch staff can explain to me, definition of customer service? (doesn't matter manager or anyone). I am a college Grads. I went inside the locker room, OMG I think for a year, the care taker didn't come to clean the locker room. The staff dealt with me (women) no greeting, 0% interpersonal skills. What she did in locker room she got my key open the compartment and told me take out the box. I was shocked. Then I finished my needs press the bell. She came inside opened the locker room door, I placed my safety box in proper compartment and locked. Every jobs have rules and duties. I don't know who is the HR person selected her as a BANK STAFF. Customer service? Cleanliness? Any new rules?

Poor Service at markham and lawrence. I walked in to this branch to update my details and apply for a credit card. They asked me to wait for 45mins. Luckily they called my name within 10mins. I thought awesome. After that FSR cindy called me in. She didnt acknowledge me. Asked what i came for. I said i am applying for a credit card. Then she didnt even ask any questions. She applied for a credit card of her interest. She didnt ask me whether i am okay with it or not. Poor customer service. If i could give some -ve points i would have given it
