TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM

I love this branch! The employees are efficient and helpful and I have been going here since I have started working in Peterborough 3 years ago. This morning however has made me question my visits here outside of bank business hours. I did not realize until I opened the door that there were 2 homeless people sleeping inside the building between the doors. As I am at the ATM withdrawing cash all I am thinking about is how I am going to get out of the bldg without being attacked by these two. I was lucky this time that they were pretty harmless but after all of the stories I have been hearing in the news lately I was pretty scared. Had I thought about it and known the situation earlier most likely I would not have gone in there. This really should not be allowed.it is too dangerous especially when cash is involved. I will be much more careful with future visits to this branch. I realize it costs extra money for security after business hours but for safety sake I would recommend it for this location. Anyhow, the business and the employees are top notch at this location and I will not hesitate to do business here during business hours. Thanks!

I was told nothing could be done about this over the phone but I went into the branch, everything was taken care of and quickly!

Just had my last transaction with this bank… user beware, specially if you get a money order. I made a money order for $100 in US 1 dollar bills so I could tip on my trip down south, Carlos says “ It will be in January 5th at the latest, BUT WE WILL CALL” welllll its January 7th no call came so I go in because I am leaving in 12 hours and of course they have no 1s again.said some sorry excuse called 2 branches and said sorry nothing we can do here’s some 5s go find a bank to exchange them at.
