After 30 plus years with TD they just decided the other day that I'm a criminal. After putting the same company cheque into the same account, the same way and within the same range of money as all the other cheques, they decide to hold the entire cheque without warning. They say it's for my/their protection but from what? I clearly put that cheque in and told them when, how much and to what access yet they say they cannot release it unti 9 days. I don't bounce cheques, scam them or anything but for some reason I'm being treated like a criminal. I will be visiting another bank next week to move my services elsewhere. I do not recommend TD anymore and highly suggested you change banks too.

My husband and I came in yesterday to meet with Cherryl to go over some personal baking needs and we couldn't be happier with her service! She was quick, efficient and was able to do exactly what we needed the first time round! We've had a few experiences here with other personal bankers that left much to be desired, but Cherryl was absolutely fantastic! Thank you:)

Visited this branch recently and they solved my problems in minutes. As I first tried the other TD location on 404 Dundas St W Whitby which is the most convenient for me but they said they can’t help me out and asked me to call customer service instead.

I'll try to sum this up in consideration of the character limitations.

Life can get difficult and throw challenges and obstacles around every corner.

Whether it's pandemics, staff shortages, sickness, enduring life altering medical procedures and the risks and complications that accompany them, poverty, mental illness, corporate greed (cutting hours while reaping exorbitant profits and overworking undervalued people), injury, exhaustion, misinformation, lack of information, giving life or feeling like giving up on life.it can get frustrating at times.

Twice now, I have experienced staff of all levels that have recognized that human decency must trump efficiency or corporate convenience.

Thank you to the individuals who arranged both these sets of circumstances to ease the pain of people who needed it in that moment.

My second experience was concerning my grandmother, and recently, the first was myself, almost a decade ago.

I can definitely give a full 5 stars for my last visit. I had the pleasure of sitting down with Joy at the Stevenson branch. I do regret not completing the survey in-time to give her a glowing review.
Joy helped tremendously with making me understand new changes I made with my services.
Her kind demeanor changed my entire outlook on the day.

I would put zero stars for customers service. Thickson Td is soo much better service. Manager is very rude at this Stevenson location. I told them I didn't like the service and they basically told me to leave the bank and go to another. Thickson td actually seen the situation and was very helpful relived alot of my stress. The manager at this just awful she should be managing anyone.

OMG, been trying to get a very small mortgage from this bank for almost 2 months now. I swear to God it's the first time for them. Every week they want new documents. Why can't they tell you all the requirements from the beginning. I wasted many hours from work with these people. They don't answer the phone or reply to emails/voice-mails. There interest rate are horrible in comparison. I've even heard of TD employees switching banks due to dissatisfaction. If my mortgage ever gets completed, I'm definitely looking for a new bank.

Says online, TD can have documents notarized. I called 2 locations today including this one, they simply say no, they dont do it. Why put that on their website if its not the case?

Very very slow service took me 50 minutes to deposit a cheque with two ppl ahead of me dealt with Jennifer Boutros she was very rude and incompetent not helpful at all and when I complained she asked me to go to a different branch I asked for manager who’s name was Martin Kotipunon he was no different in fact after meeting him I realized why staff is so incompetent and rude if management is bad you cannot expect any better from staff.
Very very disappointed I have sent TD’s customer for 20 yrs but after this I have decided to take my business to RBC.

Spoke with Marianne on taking. Had tried for 3 days to get through to easyline and when I finally got through, I received mostly"I don't know, go to the bank".
I have taken my 85 yr old mother to the bank twice. Now I am asked to take her again and ask someone at the bank to help her.
Not everyone can do online and mobile banking and you have closed several branches so they need to take public Transit.at 85yrs old. She should not be going out and there is no way to get her bankbook updated.

Went into the bank today to get my son a new bank card. Two ladies from this branch, named Lisa and Judith who were screening people where very rude. I kept telling them I needed to be with him while he does his banking (he’s 15) and that I’m authorized on his account and just need a replacement card. They tried telling me that no I need his ID they can’t help without it, even after me saying multiple times that I’m on his account and just got off the phone with lost and prevention. It took me asking for a manager before they were willing to help. And of course as soon as they tried, it showed that I am on the account and don’t need his Id as long as I have mine. So of course they then asked for my ID and issued the new card. No apologies, nothing. I’ve never had such a horrible experience as I did today. It was totally uncalled for to be treated like that by them. I hope someone cares enough from that branch to speak to them about the way they treat customers! We all need to be as kind as possible when we have real issues to deal with!

If i could give zero i would. The custoner service was insulting and just ignorant. I get its the holidays and they are stressed too. But to act with the disrespect as this representative did is terrible.
This is enough to make me leave TD after 28 years of service.

I was on the Business line and the staff took the customer from the regular line and I let that pass. Upon my turn I was handed over Gov checks for deposit and the staff kept me waiting for way too long for an easy deposit.over all may too much time spent for a very easy transaction. This Branch is NOT READY! And not up to expectation.

TD is garbage! "Oh deposit up to 50 bills in our ATM" Um no you can because I have never once been able to because it can never seem to accept anything and spits it back out.

Can't do anything in the bank either because they none of the people that work in it actually do anything. Their only function is to say "oh sorry you have to do that over the phone" ok but I'm here now, what do you do exactly? And then you call and your on the phone for over 15 minutes

Agent i spoke with had great customer service and went above and beyond to tend my needs, gave me banking advice and was all around a good expirience, i went in a little upset and she made the interaction very pleasent. Long wait in line but it was well worth it

On May 1,2019, I visited the TD Branch at the corner of King Street and Stevenson Road in Oshawa. The reason for my visit was to correct an error the TD Bank had made on a deposit to my business account. After explaining the error to the branch manager, Charles, he assured me the correction would be made and the additional funds would appear in my account within a few days. By the first of June, the correction had not been made. I visited the TD Branch on June 3,2019 and raised my concern with Charles, once again. He left to investigate what had gone wrong, and after returning, he assured me that this time, the correction would be made.

I explained to Charles that if I had made a banking mistake, the bank would be quick to implement a service fee. I assumed the bank would offer to compensate me for their mistake, and my inconvenience. Not so. When I suggested to Charles that some compensation was in order, he said he would check into it and get back to me. Later in the day I got a call from Charles. A five-dollar Tim’s gift card was offered. Talk about adding insult to injury. It’s a bold statement of how much Charles and his employer values their customer.

This is a really great branch. I was about to change banks entirely, until I had a few interactions with the employees in this branch. They are always willing to help, always have a smile on their face, and there is never a long wait to see the teller. I really do not like the customer service with TD's 1800 line, and find the call centre employees incredibly rude, but this branch makes up for it.

I really hate to write a negative comment about this branch as I’ve only used it a couple times.
But the business teller Shannon was nothing but rude to me. Told me only 2000 dollars would be available on a 10,900 dollar cheque when I come in to a td branch on a weekly basis to deposit cheque’s from the same exact payee and have never once had a cheque held because of a good track record. No cheque has ever bounced or not had the funds as the money is from large reputable businesses and would not let a cheque bounce. They ended up putting the money through after speaking to the manager but both were condiscending and rude and I will not be back to use this branch.

All the staff here are amazing and extremely helpful and very polite. They make you feel special and that you matter.
