The only Bank in Ottawa that does not have a receptionist! Wait line is long with few tellers to help. It’s not like Td is strap for cash consider the exorbitant bank fees they charge to their customers.

Signed up for a new CC and came to the branch to pick it up. Provided my 2 pieces of ID and was all setup. I asked for an Access Card be issued to me and asked to change my PIN number while I was there. The Teller mentioned I have to call the TD line in order to change my PIN and he indicated the access card should automatically be mailed to me. Went home and called TD to activate my card and proceed with the PIN Change and Access Card Issuance, but was told that I have to do that at the branch. I understand there's employee turnover everywhere and a learning curve for all jobs, but if an employee is unsure, they should not assume and instead ask for assistance from a more experienced employee. I enjoyed the more relaxed atmosphere at the branch, but maybe they're too relaxed.

I would like to mention that I received exceptional customer service today from Tomi. Which was very much appreciated during this difficult time of loss. She was patient, a very good listener and knowledgeable with other services available. I was very grateful for her service, kindness, time and efforts.
I would highly recocomend that TD recognizes her excellent service and support, which is greatly helpful and appreciated. Thank you.

I had wanted to invest in index funds and mutual funds for some time but didn't know how to get started. He made the entire process extremely easy and I believe he put me on a good path. I'm excited for what I'm doing now for my family and future, and I don't know if I would have pulled the trigger without John's help.

Terrible service! Quality and level of service has been continuously eroding over the last 3-5 years. As an example, on Monday May 9, during business hours, I called to discuss a credit card fee issue. No live person to take my call, only a voice message indicating to leave a detailed message (which I did) and an indication to expect a call-back by close-of-business or within the next 24 hours. Well on Friday May 13, having not yet received a call-back, I called again and left another message. It is now Monday (a full week) and still no call back yet. Are you kidding me! Have they closed the Branch? Has the situation gotten so bad that they have no one available, or able, to review and response to inquiries? Is this the level and quality of service a 50 year, loyal customer is to expect? I would seriously hope not! I am seriously considering other financial institutions that would more than welcome my business and value me as a customer.

I loved TD as a student and I always thought this was a good bank for high school students like me until they told me I will be charged $15 for buying stuff on my card apparently if you use your card more then 25 your will be charged $15 very disappointed and will be considering other banks

The lady manager has some anger issues and treats customers like garbage when comes to issues that can be resolved with not much brain, logic. Keeps on harassing customers about customer whose driving license got expired during COVID period and harasses them in front of people that ID needs to be updated. I moving all my assets to crypto because of this thing and by the way TD treat ur customers respectful. If I am there with my sin card number, health card number, or expired driving license just use logic that I am not there as a fraudster. Online access gets blocked or locked up without any warning and there may be chances ur you may not pay your bills because of this.

Service is good when I’m there but if I need to set an appointment then I have to call more than once as you can be ignored even if you leave as message on the voice mail.

I was blown away but the incredible service I received. Over the weekend I had an issue with banking information being stolen.called the 1-800 number and froze the account.then Monday morning the staff at the bank called me! To set up and appointment to open a new (safe) account! WOW! Then during my appointment Mohamed (sp?) offered advice about money management and other services I could use. Very helpful!

I have recently moved to this area and I've made this TD my local branch. I have only had positive interactions with the staff. From Wendy at the entrance managing the line up, to Zijin, one of the advisors, to Siddarth, the financial advisor that I had the pleasure to deal with today. Siddarth helped me set up my business account and even went above and beyond to ensure I was all set up and ready to go with my new account.

Not even one star, they absolutely should not have reduced their hours and closed a bunch of locations, this helps no ONE! 45 minute wait time while they are making heaps off of our money. I will be changing banks and banking elsewhere from now on. They literally do not understand how public health works, closing locations and drastically reducing hours just crowds everyone in obviously. Hope they know they are losing many customers,

I used to love this bank. Since 1999 I have brought many people over to TD. What I have experienced after the Covid is very disappointing. I have three business accounts at TD, and I have several personal accounts as well. I went there today and all I wanted was to get out as quickly as possible.
I avoid dealing with TD recently, as trying to get there is quite a stressful and aggravated nightmare. Most employees instead of serving clients are standing there trying to mediate already stressed out waiting in line clients. Very aggravating and unpleasant atmosphere created by the bank and its staff. I already opened an account at another bank and will be moving all my accounts there. At my other bank I just walk in, do my business and leave - all in under 3 minutes. If TD doesn't stop doing what they are doing, they will lose all customers.
I get it that you're trying to screen clients from covid, but you're definitely overdoing it.

Really long waiting times these days. Try to avoid banking at this location and quite frankly at most locations and instead rely on ATMs as much as possible. Disappointed with service On those occasions when I needed to go into the bank. Enough room to physically distance if more tellers were to Open. Only a few tellers were open at its busiest time in the morning. Also a bit unfair that those with smartphones to check in online get in right away and those without are left waiting in line outside that takes forever to move.

When I came today to deposit in the ATM the guard was extremely rude. He yelled at me TO THE LEFT YOUR LEFT.
The ATM machine was to my right. I would have needed to go left if I was going to see a representative in the bank.
It would be nice to remind the guard that we are clients.
I was extremely upset going home after my experience in your bank.
The rep told me I didn’t need to line up for the ATM. No one told us that. We stayed in line until we were told to come in.
We are reminded to be nice perhaps someone should talk to the guard.
We have our mortgage with your bank.

Customer of td for over 15 years. I hold personal and business accounts with TD. Everytime I enter this bank, either locations on merivale i have a terrible experience. Aur charges for bank statements that no other branches in ottawa seem to have. No matter my banking need i always walk out having to go to any other branch as whatever I need the staff are incompetent, rude, disrespectful, aggressive or out right insulting. I'm so disappointed and revolted to know my hard earned money is paying these staff members cheques. Tonight i witnessed a staff member tell a customer to open an account with a different bank if he didnt like the way she was managing his account.
Highly considering closing my accounts.

Pleasant but confused and unresponsive staff. We signed our mortgage here. Every time I had a question to ask or a document to submit, it would take several attempts over the course of week to get a reply. And by virtue of an email that failed to deliver, I just found out our contact no longer works here. So I'll be switching branches! I suggest banking elsewhere.

I went to the bank today to cancel a Money Order I purchased 7 days ago that seems to be lost in the mail.
A lost bank draft could still be cashed potentially. Because of this, the process of draft cancellation is long and complicated. I came in during rush hours with the tough request.
It was very fortunate that I met Chukwudum at the front desk. I had met Chuk a few days before when he helped me do a wire transfer. I came in expecting to pay a cancellation fee and possibly a refusal.
Chukwudum was very efficient and he patiently help me through the whole process. He and his manager even waited 15 minutes on the phone as the bank draft department line was very busy. Eventually I got the money deposited back to my account at no charge.
I would definitely come back to this branch many times, and I strongly recommend the TD branch at 1547 Merivale Rd, Nepean to anyone living in the Nepean area.

My wife and I went in today to notify TD that my wife had been the victim of some fraud, and that we'd like to place an alert on the account. The teller promptly tried to sell us a new line of credit. Seriously? You want to create a new credit check and pitch people on credit on a fraud instance? Totally unacceptable guys. Really poor form.

Just called to ask for some help for a visa application (which I desperately needed to be by done today) and the teller said that he "couldn't help me, as it would take about 15 mins which they couldn't afford" and told me that they are too busy when all I needed was them to print a bank statement and sign it.i called another TD bank and within 2 seconds they said that they were also booked for appointments, but that they will still help me because it wouldn't take much time and doesn't require an appointment. I can't express how fustrating I am with this branch, I have never had a good experience here and I recommend you see a different branch because clearly they don't care about their clients.

Slow. Hire more tellers. I visit lots of locations as we have multiple businesses in Ottawa, this one is always slow.
