This branch used to be very nice earlier, been 2 times in 2 weeks, this place is not the choice of my visit anymore
1.customers wait time at front desk drive you crazy … front desk attendants are not qualified and also less attentive doesn’t see any effort for to make things right for people waiting in the queue
2. Wait time will be Minmum 20 to 25 min

Otherwise this place has good ambiance, nice business lounge (not for the people who are waiting in the queue though)

Wish to see some improvement to fasten up the things and less wait times

If you’re looking for in & out banking service, this is definitely not the location for you. If you’re a business of any capital of or I highly suggest that you take your capital to another bank. There is no business line at this location, when they are surrounded by business & high net-worth
individuals. The management here is horrible, the staff here are not trained to handle the work load at this location. This is Bay & Bloor, one of the highest tax brackets and all of Canada and you have to wait 30+ minutes to do a simple bank in transaction absolutely ridiculous.

Their employee leaves a voice message asking me to call them, but without stating any details as to the reason for the call-probably for frivolous sales matters, and
as if I have time to call them during my work hours. I do not even use this bank.

You people need to stop bothering customers by phone. I had already unsubscribed from marketing calls yet you still call me. In the 21st century most people seek out information via the internet at their convenience, rather than wasting time talking to sales people with the likelihood of inaccurate facts communicated.

Asked them to lock my account after I lost my debit; found it, asked them to undo it. They said that can't be done without valid ID. Explained to the teller that I was in the hospital for an extended time for rehabilitation, and only had on me temporary IDs; she then falls silent and literally runs off and gets another woman - someone who looked to be a manager - who condescendingly told me step-by-step how to use ServiceOntario, before interrogating me. Is it really that hard to simply undo that so I could use my access card? What am I gonna do, steal money from my own bank account? Everything worked out, but I got what the woman called a "comment", which was comically reminiscent of grade school, but still kinda disappointing. I'm gonna assume the first woman I spoke to left out that detail to get me out the door. Oh well!

The customer service at this bank is literally beyond trash. I said a hundred million times that when my credit card arrived, please notify me by email because I don't pick up calls from unknown numbers. They said they'll do that. Guess what? They called me! Great listening skills. Oh another thing, I came to the branch and made an appointment to meet with a financial advisor today. She said I'll get an email for the appointment after 5 minutes. Guess what? No emails! Honestly, how on earth is this branch still in business?

I deposited $640 into my account on Tuesday August 23. Machine ate up my $640 and my card. Notified a teller and they retrieved the card. I explained my situation and said wait 5 business days to see if money is credited to your account. They credited $140 to my account. Went back to same branch and it seemed like they were questioning my integrity and honesty. Bottom line is they told me to fill out papers, which are sent to corporate HQ. Wait 5 business days, i am leaving on Saturday. So glad the owner gets FREE money off of me.

A really terrible and exhausting experience. I don't appreciate the manager's (David) attitude and the way of treating customers.

I was trying to make an urgent bank draft deposit from my account issued by another bank, and the manager told me the fund has to be hold for 5 days. If I need the money right away, then I need to wire transfer.

When I went to my bank which issued me the bank draft, I was later told that by simply sending the issuing bank a fax requesting confirmation of the bank draft validity, the hold could be lifted right away.

What shame hiding this option to the customer. Instead, I wasted hours waiting in line and wasted my bank draft fee.

Good job TD manager! Really good job! To save myself from future headache, I have already cancelled my TD saving account, TD cheque account and TD credit card account. I will persuade my family to cancel their TD accounts too and I highly advice everyone to stay away from such horrible institution.

I have been TD customer for the past 15 years and this branch provides you the worst customer service ever. I'm not sure why they have assigned incompetent branch manager in this busy location. Every time, I went to this branch, they referred to me to call or check online. When I call and stay on hold for an hour, they refer me to go to branch which turns out, the branch doesn't do their job right. Recommendation to TD: Hire competent people in your busiest location not lazy, incompetent personnel.

TD is by far the worst major canadian bank by far. Then when you add in the Bay & Bloor TD customer service experience this bank becomes the epitome of hell. This branch is run by a bunch of kids staight out of university who think their MBA education is enough to satisy customer service needs.

Toronto Dominion Bank otherwise known as TD Bank
I've been the client for over 25 years and down here in the financial district is where business is always booming!
Now not to break but I have a high honors diploma in Business!
I can tell you that this branch is visually stunning and that I found that it were open when I went recently and there was nobody in there and the staff were friendly and I've seen the city change so I feel like I've been in this branch in an alternative life LOL just kidding maybe in the past sometimes they renovate but sometimes they move the thing about TD is that even in any city in North America they have pretty good hours and they're always helpful.
Thanks to these hard-working sophisticated individuals working their best to serve people to manage their finances responsibly.

Atm service is good and the branch itself is spacious and clean. However, certain front staff are really incompetent. Once I entered, a lady came to me and kept asking if she can help whenever I say anything she says, you can check online or you can call the call centre.well, I tried to explain that I tried online but did not find what I want and that I want to talk to someone in person.but she was extremely dismissive and inattentive.she could have dismissed me without being so dismissive and unsupportive. I was struggling with a question and needed someone to help me out not to do her best to make me leave the branch! Extremely unprofessional and unacceptable.

Rating one star is even too much for them. I lined up to get in and I was kicked around between 4 people and I don’t know where I should stand. And one employee said due to social distance, she couldn’t help me.if she couldn’t, what’s the point of standing there and getting the salary? Don’t trust them anymore along with their bad attitude!

In an outbreak people should be further apart, but this bank has for some reason reduced its hours, so everyone has to go to the bank during a tiny time-frame, which results in a huge line up down the street which is already crowded. Hours should be extended, not reduced, so that there are less people at the bank at any given time. The people running this show have zero logic.

TD Bank doesn't provide any way to download all document online, told me to pick up in person only, yet they forced me & other customers to take the mask off for "safety" reasons, no matter I showed my id to them. Meanwhile their staffs are well covered with masks.
They are not following the current pandmedic policy at all, definitely a health hazard in downtown Toronto.

Before reading reviews, I thought the employee I met at this location was an exception. Now that I read previous reviews, I think it's very likely the norm of this location.
To be fair, the assistant manager and one of the reps who took reception work was friendly and understanding, but the service I got from one of the financial advisors was a sub-par - start by throwing assumptions without having my account screen open and refused to look at the document I have at hand, in order to avoid liabilities on the business side.
I don't believe one employee can become like what I described. In fact, there were others at this place play weirdly arrogant (happened beside me when I talked to the reception). The toxicity created by problematic employees should be addressed promptly and seriously, and let's hope for the best at this branch.

I usually don’t write bad review. But my experience at TD bank today with appointment with Aravind was extremely bad. One of the worst experience ever. I spent around 45 minutes to apply the credit card. He was left me 3 times while doing on it, I wanted to enquire about the credit card and he explained with a lazy way. I didn't get it yet and he rushed to answer my questions. He didn't even try to ask any other coworker to solve the problems. No explanation like the other employees. The service is awful, rude, want to serve others while I'm talking and no patience at all. It has made me want to just close my account and switch to a different bank where they care about their customers more. I’ve been banking with TD for many times. It’s very disappointing. I left this bank feeling disrespected. Will never back to see this guy!

I left this bank feeling disrespected. The service is awful. The tellers are unknowledgeable and unprofessional. I spoke to the manager, and she turned her back on me. Looking at the reviews, it seems like it's the standard.

The branch is very nice and clean. Soon as I walked in I was greeted by the Assistant Branch Manager (Sajid) who went out of his way to provide assistance to me. Honestly he went above and beyond. One of the best branch I have visited.

Always insanely long lines with many empty counters, never had a short wait here. Quite poor service for what’s supposed to be one of the main branches in the city. Most reps are very nice but I also had a very unfriendly, combative one just yesterday.

Went here yesterday taking a shot in the dark to see if they could help me with an issue with my US TD Bank account, turns out TD Canada Trust and TD Bank in the US are only tangentially related (different banking laws and systems, and whatnot but same parent corporation), so they didn’t have any access to my account in the US. However, Sajid and Robert at the front desk bent over backwards to help me unlock my account by calling them and using the two banks relationship to clear up the issue on the account and give me back access to my money. This was easily the best customer service experience I’ve ever had in a bank. I almost never leave reviews of anything, but Robert in particular was so incredibly helpful, I felt that his efforts and kindness deserve recognition. Thank you so much!

I’ve been waiting at the customer service desk for 15 minutes and an advisor asked I think a teller to come help me. She had red hair - came over and was mumbling about how she didn’t want to do it. Very professional. Super appropriate. So mature.

I had a horrible experience at this branch today. I met with Brandon Lee, a financial advisor, to switch my investment product. Due to the fees being lower on the product I was looking to switch to, Brandon tried to convince me to choose another option. After listening to him speak, I let him know why I was looking to make the change and justified my reasoning for being adamant on the product with lower fees. When he realized my mind was made, he became hostile. He said he could not help me and I would have to figure it out on my own. I was shocked! He refused to provide me with any resources, emails, or phone numbers to call which lead me to end the meeting. As I walked out, I stopped an employee and expressed my frustration at the rudeness and lack of assistance Brandon provided. The employee (whose name I did not get) quickly explained the steps I needed to take make the change and asked me who I had met with. When I said Brandon, the employee immediately rolled his eyes (seems I'm not the only one Brandon has upset). Whether he realizes it or not, Brandon is representing the entirety of TD when interacting with clients, and today he did not represent well. I am currently meeting with the other large Canadian banks to find one with better service.

I want to give a shout out to Sajid Ahmed (Assistant Branch Manager) and Grazia (Financial advisor). I had to switch my mortgage to an open term mortgage under a very tight deadline, and Sajid made sure that it was done within the deadline. He literally submitted by application and at midnight on same day and sent me a confirmation email. He was dealing with a family situation at that time but he made sure that Grazia or someone else was there on the branch to help me whenever he was not available. Grazia was also very helpful and responded to my queries very timely and reached out to me promptly for each step.

This guy deserves an employee of the year for providing best customer service to the customers.

I went at lunch time and it was terribly busy. Despite this, they had many tellers on duty who were very obiously efficient and hard-working. The lady who helped me was very friendly and helpful. All of this during major renovations at the branch. Hands down, an amazing experience.

Terrible branch, slow sevice and no polite. Many workers and the service is really bad. I made a simple international transfer ans it took 1h and at the end the account number was wrong. I lost all my time. Td is decreasing its service

This location is utterly pathetic. Your located downtown. Blocks away from church street. You would think you wouldnt hire a transphobic greeter/information consultant. This asian man who worked at the front had the nerve to refer to me as "he". When i corrected him he apologized yet was snickering behind my back. He purposefully misgendered me. Please teach your employees about transgender women. Its 2018 theres no excuse for bigotry. I will personally stop by there later on today to speak with his manager.

I was in earlier today and my god the customer service was shocking. I wanted to enquire about applying for a credit card and was left waiting over an hour while customers who came after me were seen to as I was left there unhelped or questioned. I had to return to the counter to remind them once more that I was there by which stage I couldn't wait any longer. I found them very unapologetic and aloof to the issue. It has made me want to just close my account and switch to a different bank where they care about their customers more. I won't be returning.

I’ve been coming to this branch for as long as I can remember.

The staff the help desk are 75% of the time very fast and very professional, the 25% of the time are slow, rude/negative and do not want to help you. This often creates this uncomfortable feeling of going and talking to them.

The tellers are always great - fast, professional and friendly. Just how you’d think of perfect tellers.

My small business advisor was amazing - very helpful, knowledgeable and offered the best for our needs.
