Over the past year I have not once had a good experience at this branch. Usually takes a very long time to be served and the individual may or may not be able to help since the requirements and explanations seem to change with every visit. Inconsistent and inconvenient.

Today I had an appointment with Jenna at TD bank branch 55 King St. W, she and Alyssa helped to print my TD visa statements from 2013. They teamed up to provide me with all documents I needed. They are the best staffs I have ever met at TD bank since I opened the account in 2008! They should be awarded as the best TD employees!

I wanted to deposit a bank draft for my relative. Even though I had the receipt and BMO even gave me a card of their branch manager in case TD wants to call and verify. The teller wanted to try, but TD branch manager refused to call and verify, so I have to wait 5 more days for the funds.

Luckily I don't have a TD account myself, and I don't think I will change my mind in the near future given how they eagerly avoids problem instead of trying to solve it.

Review for street level, main TD branch on King & Bay: Been here an hour, still waiting. Not enough tellers, not enough training is given to the tellers to deal with all the requests. It’s so painful coming in. When they can’t resolve anything, they just say come back. Please provide additional + sufficient training to the tellers so they don’t have to go to the manager for every customer (multiple times).

Pathetic staff - especially Vagmi Pandya and Ryan Vu. They keep feeding you incorrect information and will do anything to avoid helping in under any circumstances. Completed all the conditions mentioned by them for the newcomer program benefits but as per them I did not meet the criteria they mentioned, so will not be getting any benefits.

Dealing with TD has become a painful affair. Went I. To get a bank draft, signed in using my card and PIN number, provided my drivers license and then I was asked to go get my cell phone as a code will be sent that I would need to provide in order to identity Myself. Utterly nonsensical

Hahaha TD requires appraisal for the home you buying and they don't pay for that requirements? Hahaha i wish i didnt have to spend my $$$ for that. BUYERS MAKE SURE YOU GET FULL MORTGAGE APPROVAL w/out appraisal. Lol i just want yo save your $300.ohh yes and i am cheap. Hahahaha

Let me start off by stating, if I could give no stars, I would. Unprofessional and out of touch with their customers. I moved my mortgage, savings and investments to a credit union and am very happy I did. I could kick myself for not doing it sooner. I’m still with their insurance division and I’m moving away from that at the end of this term. Only when the bank starts to lose customers will they get their heads on straight. If you’re looking for a good bank, avoid this one and do your homework. There is a reason why they have low review stats.

For years I have remitted my HST through TD Bank with no issues. When I went to this branch to do the same this year, it was such a disappointing experience. The teller said he couldn't do it because he wasn't sure which form to use (I had the forms there), and when I suggested getting a manager, he said she would say the same thing - but I asked if he could please ask her. He reluctantly did, and even made a grimace (I don't think he was mean, but grimace was unnecessary). The manager reiterated his stance. So, I asked the manager why is this time so difficult? The manager kept insisting they were not tax experts (understood - I have an accountant for that), but she would not explicitly address my questions.
Instead, she redirected her answer by saying that I have now learned something new about TD. There was no, "I understand", "I think I know what you are saying". It was a dismissal of my question. When we (I) settled on the exact form to remit, the manager strongly implied that I was taking a risk paying through TD without consulting outside sources. In the end, I expressed my confusion at their confusion. I thanked them, and then went to CIBC (one of my other banks) - and remitted my HST which was done in 5 minutes and completed with apparent confidence and supportive engagement.
The real problem at this TD this time was that they simply wouldn't hit the ball back. They left it to me to keep fighting for air in that conversation and were not proactively supportive - they were doing the bare minimum. I work in the financial core, and have several banks that I deal with. TD: you need better training and development at this location - this is isn't the first time, but it was bad enough for me to write a review about.

I called multiple times to speak to a manager, and the teller kept passing me off to incompetent people. Does not cater to its customer's needs accordingly. Very bad initial experience.

I tried to do an RRSP loan at this branch. Four TD bankers in cheap suits couldn't figure out how to fund my account, so they sent me home and said they'd call me. The next day they informed me that they had funded the account TWICE - but I shouldn't touch the money because it would be clawed back by end of week. Nice work guys!

Was trying to open an account but the person has trouble doing so and doesn't know why. Thought it was their job to know, but he said he would find out later and give me a call - he never did which doesn't even surprise me. Nice branch though.

It's a good branch with courteous staff. But the financial advisors are terrible. They are simple not interested in helping. Spoke to someone about mortgage and he said he would work on it for me, send me an application and details and never got anything. He asked me to remind him. Wow is it my job to remind him to email his customer? Pathetic and so unlike td reputation. Scheduled another appointment with someone else at this branch and this guy never bothered to contact. Best to go to Bmo and Scotiabank for better service with mortgage and better rates. Pointless being td's loyal customer I'm taking my business away

My experience with the mortgage "specialist" was not the best. I'm very new to the process and was really trying to know how much I can afford and ask about what the process is with the new mortgage incentives.

- The person I had the appointment with was 20min late

- she wasn't really fully with me (checking her email for a deal and answering phone calls).

- She told me that the incentives were available although it was too early since they only take effect in September (only found out this today)

- Everytime I ask a question she talks to me as if I'm trying to cheat the system or something. I'm only trying to understand what I can do for my situation.

At the end she submitted a pre-approval request that was declined (internally based on what she told me). Because she didn't ask me about the proper information.

So I decided to go to another bank for my mortgage.

My advice is don't get an appointment using their online tool.work with someone that's been recommended to you and has experience

I have been misled 3 times when I called in to ask about the safety deposit boxes. They don’t relay the correct hours in order to access the boxes over the phone and in person their customer service is absolutely horrible. JB was the person who I spoke with at the branch on my last visit, he told me to wait 2 hours, and was completely unsympathetic when I told him that I had been in a few times now and misled over the phone and he continued by saying that his manager would “maybe” be able to help me out. He mentioned that his managers priority were the tellers and not the customers. Fortunately another teller was able to help me out when he saw me standing and waiting for the manager. The manager never even addressed me. Unfortunately this is the closest bank to me which has safety deposit boxes available, I will continue to keep an eye out to see if other locations have one available so I can move branches.

Went here to discuss renewing mortgage and the customer service agent told us the advisor didn’t want to talk to us! BMO gave a much cheaper mortgage rate! FYI!

A year ago a lady at this bank helped me replace my damaged bill for a new one. I remember she offered me great customer service by handling the situation with good sense of humor and being quite sympathetic and nice.

Awful experience. Their best advice was to call the easy line. Spent more than 45 min waiting in line and waiting on a phone.

Got a money order without signature, went back and ask front desk, front desk asked me to line again said it wasn't their fault
