Td bank service getting down day by day, went to the bank (father Tobin branch). Only 2 teller available and both are occupied by 2 ppl and those two taking almost whole day. I called the manager and asked about more teller and reply got from branch manager (Andrew thammavong) that we are trying our best and the way saying that is really horrible and rude. I’m the second person in the line still never got the turn for atleast 30 min and after that I quit but there is no effort from the branch manager. Td should look in that matter which happening in each branch as they want to save money by wasting our time.

Not good service by manager. She do not know how to speak with customers. She hold my 10 cheque. Every time she hold my cheque did not release.

TD and all there locations are a big joke. I have had repeated fraud on my account and they cannot even protect me.what kind of bank are they.

The worst Customer Service Manager at this Branch. I been with TD for 25yr plus and always had great experience but not at the Father Tobin and Tobrham branch. Dealing with Sandra was horrible experience and made me feel very uncomfortable by accusing me of bringing a false cheque which after bugging her to check my history with the same cheques which I get from my Broker of Record (Realtor). She was discriminated towards me for some reason maybe I wasn’t wearing my suit today and in the pass the other customer service manager knows me by doing business at the branch and is very kind and nice I don’t know his name but he’s young gentleman with some facial hair. Sandra is the opposite and made me feel very unpleasant and wasn’t professional at all. Beside me was a gentleman depositing his cheque and she didn’t hold his cheque but mine policy changed. Seems fishy to me……. What made it worse is that she kept the cheque up on the air and kept comparing the previous to it and told me that the signature don’t match but that’s not true because it’s from the same brokerage as my previous cheque and same broker of record. Doing that made me feel very low and don’t want to see with this branch going forward. I picked my cheque and went to BMO and let me tell you how good the experience was and they welcomed me with open arms and no hold on my cheque at all.way to go BMO. I’m really curious to see if any upper management will reach out and give me a good explanation of how I was treated by Sandra at the branch on August 17th 2022 at 5: 15pm. My humble request is to please check the cameras and see how she dealt with my situation as a manager by holding up my cheque and making sure it’s a real one… 25 years plus and I get this kinda of treatment…

Wow what a service after posting the review I got a email asking me to send my contact info and the explanation of my experience which clearly they can read it here but I guess no one cares anymore. Amazing management TD for not returning emails or calling the client of 25+ years. I’m closing all my accounts with td including my mortgage as I’m taking it to CIBC as they have the best customer service ever… and this post will be up on my social media including all my friends and family as well.

There is always long line up and longer waiting time for this branch due to shortage of staffs at the counter.

I am in the process of moving the 1st of 2 mortgages from the TD Father Tobin Branch. TD's slow processing of a new home purchase cost me $3000 in April 2021 because I had to delay closing. I have had enough. When it's in their interest they will surely get a hold of you. I have the branch financial advisor calling me from time to time asking me if I am doing anything with the money in my account that is sitting there. Well sir, it is not your job to be looking into my account when I have not asked you to. I will be looking at lodging a complaint with the Privacy Commissioner as no branch employee has the right to access my profile without my knowledge or consent. I pay the fees on the account so it's my business, not yours.

If the branch manager would like to call to discuss my mortgage situation, please free to. My name is Amer Sheikh phone number 416-5**-6**6. Otherwise, the mortgage is moving by September 15 with the RSP and TFSA accounts following shortly after.

August 29 Update:

Scotiabank approve my mortgage switch within 2 weeks of the application submission. I will be moving my principal residence mortgage from TD as of September 3. I have 4 mortgages and after September 3 only one will be remaining with TD. I wish TD management would realize that there is a competitive market out there for clients like me who have a substantial net worth and it costs you more money to gain a new client than it does to keep an existing one. The last mortgage will be moved as soon as it is in my advantage to do so. Next, I will be moving my RSP and TFSA portfolio as well as the cash.

PS: The financial advisor said he would have the assistant branch manager contact me to discuss my issue that day. To this day, I have heard nothing. Unfortunately, customer service is not something this branch values despite all the corporate garbage they put out there telling how much you mean to them. Actions speak!

Worst Branch, They never listen to the client’s requirement, if you are stuck and even have all the receipts of other branch they are not satisfied with anything you have.
TD should be same in all the branches but they tell you go to the other branch they will do it.
Question is if the other branch can do it why can’t you guys do it. And above all they don’t even trust their own employees.

I've been waiting outside for 10min and there are still 15 people ahead of me. Reduced staff, reduced hours and limited access but TD continues to collect their full fees.

I visited this branch today to open a buisness account and MR. UMARVIR SINGH DHALIWAL helped me to open it even on busy weekend wothout a appointment.
Everyone was so helpful I appreciate there help and all the best

They really have you going in circles for a simple task like opening a new business account. Honestly, they require some rigorous training. Seems like none of them have an inkling of how to go about things even the manager. Very unclear about business processes in general.

The service at this branch was really bad. The front desk employee - Sharon Cerejo wanted me to just leave the branch. I came in to open a new account, at 9: 00 AM. She said that I need to get an appointment first to open a new account. However, there was no one else in the branch; it was completely empty. I told her that and she still refused, stating that the first appointment is at 9: 30 AM. When I told her that it will not take over 30 minutes, she said that it will take longer than that and the other employee, who has the appointment for a customer at 9: 30 AM - Harinder, is busy doing other work until then. I could clearly see Harinder sitting in the cabin, drinking McDonald's coffee and browsing Facebook. Both of them were very rude and did not give me their names until I insisted. Harinder still didn't give me her last name. After I left, I contacted another branch and they said it will take them less than 30 minutes to make my account. This proves that the employees here provide terrible customer service, lie to customers and try to avoid doing work.

I found the staff and manager to be quite helpful in my situation of desperate need. I dropped in randomly while I was in the area and was able to get the help and support solution I needed. Especially not being a regular here. I highly recommend this branch and it’s staff. Would definitely drive from Pickering to here again if needed. A+

Stay away from this branch and TD. The folks in this branch simply do not care. It is a reflection on TD as well. Except for basic transactions, they do not have the capability to manage anything above basic level. I started my RESP transfer process in this branch on Oct 27,2018. Several follow ups later, this month (after 10 weeks) I finally come to know that the TD back office does not even know where or who has my file. Imagine a bank functioning this way. I have decided to simply walk away and take my business elsewhere. They were absolutely fine with no apology!

I was reluctant to write this review - I value my time – TD is too big to give any consideration on continuous improvement.

“TD compliance” this branch need your attention I am referring to transaction # 00129120/4-ZSID Dec31,2018 at 2.30 pm @ 135 Father Tobin Road

Teller was not aware on how to deposit 25 checks and give consolidated credit. Despite me reminding that usually checks are scanned first and missed once are amended / re-scanned and one total amount credited to account.

Teller kept on defending that only way is to first enter the amount of each checks line by line and then scan – “not knowing faster process” is not an issue but having reminded he kept on insisting that is the only way.

So even after consulting the branch manager they concluded to scan each check one by one enter the amount manually and then consolidate.

Along with teller please spend some resources to refresh knowledge of branch manager as after all was done he was searching to stamp deposit slip not knowing that TD has stopped stamping deposit slips This branch definitely will qualify (#1 runner) for worst knowledge and customer service – literally it took teller 27 minutes to deposit 25 checks consolidated.

On the other hand your branch at 1471 Dufferin & Summeridge is far superior I usually go to this branch as it is closer to my work place.

I wish I could give negative stars **** stop wasting time of customers.

Oh I forgot to mention – first teller separate all TD checks and processed them one by one (printing deposit slips for each check) and then took all of them for branch manager’s approval / discussion what a waste of time!

The worst branch in Brampton. Very very slow service and they don’t care about customer waiting. Very poor service.

I hope this doesnt happen to anyone but the atm inside the bank took my money and didn't complete the transaction (no receipt or anything), only got my card back. I had to open up a case to get this resolved at the teller and when i went up to teller to let him know what happened, i was told the machine was out of order all day but yet when i came inside the bank to deposit cash, i saw person front of me using the atm and person behind me waiting. SO you are telling me none of the employees noticed that there are 3 people at atm to inform us? Did the td staff not communicated with eachother letting other know about the atm being down? Who knows. Someone could have told us but nope, apparently they were too busy to even notice. I finally got the money back on the 5th business day but it was really frustrating that i even had to go through this b.s. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED. I sent an email to the branch manager "fahad" about my concerns but no reply from him. What a joke. I dont think im coming back here even though its the closest branch to my house. I will drive the extra mile to go somewhere else.

This branch is the worst branch I’ve ever seen. I ordered some bank items that didn’t arrive for over a month when they were supposed to arrive within 10 days. They made me open a second account to reorder the items, this time a rush order, and the items have not arrived yet. It’s been 2.5 months. Cherry on the cake, I got my mortgage done by the branch manager who completely messed up the mortgage amount due to which I lost the property I was looking to book. I am still waiting on my items btw and there is no concern by the employees given that the manager is clueless. I would literally pay someone to stand outside their door and tell people not to go in because the place sucks. Gosh why am I giving them 1 star!
